As the number of new cars equipped with manual transmissions continues to dwindle, it appears that vehicles with manuals often carry a resale price premium.
Approximately 15,500 Porsche Cayman and 911 sports cars are being recalled for their owner’s manuals.
Approximately 7,500 model-year 2016-17 Porsche 911 and Boxster sports cars, and model-year 2016 Cayman sports cars and Panamera hatchbacks are being recalled for their airbag electronic control units.
For the second year in a row, the Porsche 911 is the most dependable 3-
 year-old vehicle, according to J.D. Power's Vehicle Dependability Study, 
 while several GM and Toyota models land close behind.
Approximately 120 2016 Porsche 911 and 2017 911 and 718 sports cars 
 are being recalled for a passenger frontal airbag inflator initiator.
