2023 Chrysler 300 review: Our expert's take

By Brian Normile

Competes with: Dodge Charger, Toyota Crown, Volkswagen Arteon

Looks like: A smidge more aggressive Chrysler 300S

Powertrains: 6.4-liter V-8 producing 485 horsepower and 475 pounds-feet of torque; eight-speed automatic transmission; rear-wheel drive

Hits dealerships: Reservations open now

The Chrysler 300 full-size sedan will be no more after the 2023 model year, and the brand will send it out to pasture with one final special edition: the 2023 300C, which packs a 6.4-liter V-8 under the hood and a host of additional performance upgrades. A tribute to the original 300, the 300C can go from 0-60 mph in a manufacturer-estimated 4.3 seconds on its way to a 12.4-second quarter-mile run, with a top speed of 160 mph.

With 2023 being the final model year for the 300, Chrysler will only have the Pacifica and Pacifica plug-in-hybrid minivans in its 2024 lineup as of this writing. Only 2,000 300Cs will be available in the U.S., and reservations are open now on Chrysler’s site. Interested buyers need only complete three steps: pick an exterior color, pick a dealer and put down a deposit.
