  • I owned 2 1993 Dodge Dakota’s one with the magnum V6 one

I owned 2 1993 Dodge Dakota’s one with the magnum V6 one with the magnum V8. I put over 200,000 miles on both with little to no trouble or mechanical problems. Kept both serviced on a regular basis and didn’t dog them out. That’s not to say that I took it easy on them, far from it. I drove the crap out of both. To this day the only thing that’s come close are a Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 inline 6 cylinder and Chevy 1500 truck with the 5.3 liter engine. Currently own my second Toyota (totaled the first one) so we will see.

  • money pit

i recently purchased this truck in January of 2021..and have had nothing but problems with it ever since. i originally purchased it because of the low miles 98,000 and it was clean. that is very deceiving. i have been able to drive it a handful of times and that was to get it repaired. the rest of the time its been towed. not to mention the parts are IMPOSSIBLE to find. stay away from this and im assuming anything dodge related. FYI Though ANYTHING American made is garbage.

  • A fun ride

This truck was my first ride, got my husband from highschool, to college and then to work every day two cities over. It had a lot of problems, I remember a few nights we had to lean out the window with flashlights because the lights went off and on. We had many adventures together. I learned all about the ends and outs of a n engine and how a car runs. I did a lot of work on it myself. I would keep it forever if it were just up to me. I loved this damn truck. Even the messy parts. Might not be pretty, but it is reliable as hell

  • Fun to drive

Enjoyed driving this truck. Lots of get up & go. Plenty of torque for towing. Everything except ashtray well placed. I had the manual transmission. Only downside was the issue they had on the paint with that model year. Came with full size spare on a wheel that matched the other four- had to figure out your own way to lock it to prevent theft though/

  • FIRE ENGINE RED DODGE DAKOTA RIDES GREAT!

This truck has gusto, but has been babied for most of its life. Original paint job is fabulous, with no rust, engine runs smooth, interior is perfect, and it has real hootspa! The Dodge Dakota Sport has a sleek exterior design, which gives it the sporty look. Hardly used so unabused.

  • She just will not die

I bought her ( yes it is female and has a name) with only 1700 miles on her. At 190,000 I have had no real trouble. I have pulled a hay wagon to a 6000 lb RV 5th wheel. The 5.2 and overall toughness can put her at the same level as many bigger trucks. I will admit getting her into the tighter parking can be a pain. Tight turns belong to car not a work truck. AT over 20 years old the only problem I have is finding spare parts. Other than body work and a paint job she is as good looking as when I bought her .

  • Great little truck

I bought this truck when I turned 16 and I really abused it the first few years. I took it mudding and about everything else that's hard on a truck even high centering it. after all that its still a very reliable tough little truck. its has a ton of get up and go when you hit the gas and can haul a lot for its size. the biggest load ive had on it so far was 2 tons and it handled it like a champ. after owning it for three years ive put well over 20,000 miles on it and over 2,000 miles was spent in the mud and after all of that the transmission finally went out, which I am told is something that rarely happens in this truck, and I feel that the truck is worth every bit of putting in the new transmission over buying a new truck.

  • Best truck I've ever owned

I was amazed at the handling and ride ... never has shown a tendency to wash out the rear end, and it has as nice a ride and road feel as a large sedan. One breakdown in 100,000 miles due to a chaffed wire, otherwise virtually trouble free.
