  • Fun Van to Have

This Ford van model is one of the best. Sadly my understanding is that Ford stop making them. Who will manufacturer a good replacement. One Two Three, Go, find a good one.

  • Served our family well for almost 10 years

Dad picked this thing up as the 2nd owner sometime in the late '90's. It had around 38,000 on the odometer, it had the 4-speed OD Automatic, and the 5.0 Windsor V8. It also had a really ugly stripe job, and was a sort of off-white color. But, despite that, it held up extremely well on several road trips and a couple moves as well. Ultimately, we took the seats out and just used it as our private cargo van, and with a little over 160,000 miles on it when we sold it on in 2007, it was still running strong. Only real issue we had was battery issues when we got it, but it had a really cheap battery in it. Overall, if you need a cheap, easy to maintain and drive people/junk hauler, and don't want a station wagon or a minivan, I'd recommend a Club Wagon or Econoline. Just be sure to have a bit of extra cash on hand for gas. But hey, it's got a 5.0, what do you expect?
