  • Crappy Truck

Tire is flat, it’s squatted, rolls coal, steering is shot, it is very loud and needs a new muffler and tires. I do not like it.

  • Great Work Truck!

I bought the truck brand new in 2004 and drove it in every type of weather and utility environment; pulled heavy trailers; loaded with topsoil, 4-wheeling; family vacation; long trips; short trips; great truck!

  • the 6.0 that left me stranded on 2 trucks

I Have owned 4 f-250 trucks 2000, 2005, 2006, 2008 But the 2005 and 2006 Were by far the truck from Hades. The 2005 king ranch 6.0 Blew an oil ring at 150k miles. the ring was only 76.00 but cost 1400 to get replaced and 900 the 2nd time. the injectors failed and Truck smoked so I sold and wound up with a 2006 f-250 lariat that was bulletproofed. not long after being bullet proofed it Left me sitting on the side of the rd 350 miles from home while towing our RV. the injectors backed out and beat the rings to death and cost me 2200.00 at 167,000 miles the truck was Shot stay away from 6.0 and the 6.4 2003-2010 are the worst Motors Ford powerstroke produced.

  • Most Powerful and reliable truck I have owned.

I had an F-150 for 12 years that ran forever with over 150k on it. Unfortunately I was rear ended at high speed and bent the frame. I found my 2005 Ford F-250 Diesel a couple of weeks later. The pulling power is amazing, it does take some gas as mine is lifted but it looks amazing for a 2005. I have 134k on it and it has so much more to go. Keep it serviced and you will absolutely love this truck. I will not let her go until she does not drive anymore. My 6.0 Powerstroke is amazing. Remember to plug her in the winter and you will have no problems.

  • Camshaft phaser issues

If you get this vehicle, you are bound to have issues with the camshaft phaser = low power despite pressing on gas, bottoms out, heats up easily, and power issues. Checked with multiple mechanics and they all said this is the issue.

  • So far a Good Truck

It?s been a good work truck so far except for the part that I had to get somethings fixed and not to mention it had absolutely no power steering fluid or oil and I unfortunately didn?t check it right away Bc u would assumed it should have come with some at least but we were able to catch it in time before any serious damage occurred but other then that it?s now a good Truck

  • A great second truck.

We called him the Col. Mosby, after a distant relative, because he was confederate gray. The Col. worked for us just 6+ years, but did some great things. He helped us retire & helped us move from IN, to PA. He was plenty powerful, stood tall & carried heavy stuff easily. He'd been owned by a Concrete Contractor from new. When we got him he had a new bed liner. I wanted to rust treat him, so I pulled the liner to coat the bed. I found the bed cover was a dealer hid for several punctures. I laid in 3 coats of Rhino Liner, & pressed the plastic Ford bed liner into the wet stuff. Whoever has the Col. now will never have a bed problem & enjoy a quiet ride. The Col. was reliable, tough, great to drive & provided a good value when traded for a new vehicle. I home he went to someone who needs a good work truck.

  • I wish I didnt have to sell it

I have had my F-250 for 6 years, and never had a major mechanical issue (189k miles) . I love this truck, it is the most comfortable and dependable vehicle i have had so far, 3 cross country trips and still going strong. Maintenance is expensive as with all big trucks, and dont plan on working on it yourself unless your a legit mechanic, because its a pain.

  • Most reliable heavy duty I have owned

This was a great truck, regardless of what you will read. I owned this truck and drove it until 165k miles. Never gave me an issue. Biggest regret was selling this truck for a Dodge. As long as you maintain it and "delete" it you'll be good.
