  • Wife's Forever Car

Ours is a 96 dual over head cam v tech// bought used in 2004 with 80K on her// Wife's car my toy. Now has 210 k on it // Never needed any thing in repairs . Finally the seats gave way and paint faded to nothing last year// Offered the wife a newer Mustang. Nope not getting rid of her baby.. New paint job Seats rebuilt and new carpet, radiator timing belt brakes and Air conditioner ect. Looks and drives good as new. Yep a couple grand $ into it. Not bad for 15 years of service. Still uses no oil had it up to triple numbers (not telling) out in west TX last month l. Was cruising at 80+ mph for several hours with traffic. Fun little car. Tip use nothing but synthetic oils.

  • Original Owner

Best and most fun ever. 1995 VTEC bought in SoCal. Now has 170,000 miles and still a pocket rocket. Sadly am selling due to old age -- mine. She's been loved.

  • Fun car to drive

Bought my 95 del Sol as a commuter car. Has been great on gas and feels great to drive especially with the top off. The trunk has plenty of room even with the top in it.

  • Sweetest Ride on the Planet!

This is a great car to drive - has a very sweet turning radius and is a very comfortable ride. I love the size of it and the reliability. I've babied the car - it hasn't seen winters outside of a garage, but because of that, it has returned the favor of being a highly clean car underneath and a very desirable vehicle to pass along to a new owner. It's been serviced regularly, so it doesn't have any issues. I can easily see this car going for another 100K miles or more. Easy pop-off top and locks into trunk - Surprising amount of trunk room. Love this gem! Wish they still made them!

  • Love, love, love

I had always dreamed of owning one since i first got my license. After 10 years i finally got the chance when a lady at my gmas nursing home was selling hers. I bought it and have never looked back. I only use it in the summer since i live in Colorado and it is more like a sled on snow. It is fun, fast and reliable. The only issue is i have a 5 speed manual and clutches seem to not last long. ( could be the husband slipping the clutch too much!!!)Told by family mechanic they have smaller clutches which makes since because its a small car. Overall its a show stopper everyone likes to look, ive even had people at stop lights sing along to the radio when the top is off its just got that kind of feeling on you!!!!

  • Great Car!

I bought my first Del Sol about a month ago. Its a 1995 s. I am the second owner. The first owner babied this car. It is in excellent condition. It gets between 41-43 mpg. It is very fun to drive, very sporty and it does hug the road. I have no plans to ever sell it or trade it in. This cars are rare, well made and a blast to own!

  • VTEC

I have a 1995 dual overhead cam VTEC Del Sol. Very different from the other Del Sols- 160 hp, beefed up suspension, bigger tires and wheels, antilock brakes, bigger brakes, front and rear stabilizer bars, 8,200 rpm redline. 0 to 60 in 6.4 seconds, 131 mph top speed, handles like a dream, very balanced. Mine has 47,000 miles, looks, drives, and smells like new. These are rare, fun, and will appreciate. Very easy to work on, but being Hondas, they won't need much. Everyone waves at it.

  • Phenomenal little roadster

I bought a 1995 Honda del Sol S with the 1.5L non-VTEC and 4-speed auto for my girlfriend (now wife) back in May 2012 as a work commute vehicle she could use over her Jeep Cherokee. First off, this is a beautifully crafted car both inside and out. The curves and lines of the exterior are both smooth and sharp; the front slopes gently from the front clip over the heavily raked windshield, then suddenly scallops for the flat trunk lid and rear deck spoiler. It stands out in a good way from all the other cars on the road. As well, the interior is well-appointed and almost all panels (dash, door, etc) are covered in soft-touch material. Quality control was great when this car was built, save the slight tethering of the door panels near the armrests. There's also plenty of leg and head room, as well as loads of cargo room in the trunk (even when the targa top is stored). It's also quite reliable provided proper maintenance is given (I did have to replace the valve stem seals recently, however), and gas mileage with the auto is right at 29mpg consistent on the interstate with a light foot and OEM-spec tires. Overall, this is an amazing and fun little car, perfect for just having fun or as an awesome looking work commuter, especially since you can find these in good shape for around $3500 or so.
