An Honest Review
I've had my '19 Ridgeline RTL-E for about 3 years now, she's my daily. Super comfortable ride, I'm 5'10 with long legs and I do wish that the driver seat would go back just a tad bit more. One thing that has spoiled me is the heated steering wheel, I love that feature. As far as the performance goes, it's pretty quick once you get going. I wish it was much more responsive rather than the slow take off it has now. The 6-speed transmission does worry me as I have heard some concerning things about it, and I love to keep my vehicles until they quit on me. Other than that, I do enjoy the rear power sliding window, and the speakers in the bed. Many of my truck buddies are impressed by this mid-size truck's handle and as am I.
It's a nice vehicle fix the recall right after the
The camera that works all the land controls them all her lights are not what they don't work right but it's no recall on so 2019 Honda Ridgeline yeah vehicle 4 years old I cannot afford to repair the camera and the dash to the windshield it ought to be a recall on that part is about $900 you would think Honda would help take care of that not no more in about 4 years old .
Ridgeline: Comfort and versatility personified
Recently purchased a used 2019 RTL-T model. First impressions are rides like a high-end car, with the functionality of a truck: very impressed. I bought it for everyday use (I'm retired, play golf) and the occasional use for hauling lumber for home projects. The interior is a-plus, except for the minor un-functionality of the infotainment system: no mute button for audio system on steering wheel or on display, must go through a menu to get to active music screen and USB cable tether for Android Auto instead of wireless. Otherwise, excellent! Ride is superior to any other midsize truck, interior is attractive and spacious; leather seats are just a little firm (less so than a Cadillac which I feel are unreasonably firm!!!). Power train is very responsive and lite on fuel as compared to a full size truck. With Honda reliability and car/truck versatility, I do not know how I have lived without it for all these years!
Honest Redgeline review from 4 year owner
Bought my RTL-T model new in 19. Smooth, very comfy. MPG averages 23 with highs of 29 on long trips. The T model is near the top. Negatives are slight wind noise above 60 mph with no air coming in. Confounding. I replaced the poor armrests with aftermarket. No volume knob but it was added in 2020. No mirror defroster is baffling. Navigation, and whole info system takes time to learn. 3 recalls already all fixed by dealer. Hood latch, fuel pump, and rear camera. I overall it runs perfect. Honda engine and tranny warranty is lifetime. Looking back the only other PU i would have co sidered is the Ford Ranger. But Honda quality will last me many years.
2019 Ridgeline, almost perfect.
Traded a 2008 Tundra with a 5.7 liter engine. I purchased a 2019 Ridgeline new. Really impressed with the mpg. Comfortable seats. Not really impressed with quality when closing the doors, but it a truck. Presently have 41,000 miles, no issues. The info center is starting to act weird. I do not like the shifter, you need to be careful putting it in Drive, a number of time I had put it in low, not good. Seems like they could put a lockout button that would prevent this issue. Overall I am pleased with the Ridgeline.
What a Great Truck
What a great mid-size truck. Easy to drive and park; ride comfort better than some cars; great on gas (overall 24 mpg); hauls everything I need to haul. Seats, both front and rear, are very comfortable. Recommend this truck.
You wont regret purchasing this Honda!
I purchased my 2019 RTL-E Ridgeline after owning the first generation 2007 for 320,000 miles. I have found my current vehicle to be more comfortable, quiter, get better mileage and a better design. I purchased it with 24 miles 18 months ago and it now has 74,000 miles. I like it so much I am contemplating trading it in on anohter one with lower mileage.
The Swiss Army Knife of vehicles
The Ridgeline is the Swiss Army Knife of vehicles. It’s so multi functional, comfortable, reliable, and safe. It’s not bad on gas for a truck.
Great ride & cannot wait to drive in heavy snow
Just purchased RTL E & I am very happy with this Honda. Still finding out all of the features on this Ridgeline & I’m happy I bought the extended warranty just in case. Honda fan from 1986
Great appeal and safety features
BLACK EDITION 1. All black exterior details, red accents inside 2. Very user friendly dash and steering wheel controls. 3. Cabin is very comfortable. The back seats fold up to make for a great carrying area. 4. Tailgate swings down and opens horizontally, which makes accessing the bed much easier. I also love the truck bed audio and lockable storage area in the bed. 5. I'm loving the safety features!
