  • Fuel economy and quality

This is a great choice for entry level EV. Combined I'm getting about 85 MPG. No hybrid car can touch this. Also the price can't be beat. Similar models are about $10K more (looking at you Prius Prime) Also many little extras included in price compared to Toyota.

  • dealer needs to educate the customer

I really liked the idea of driving a plug-in hybrid. They fail to inform you the care only gets 29 miles when charged It take 2 hrs to charge. not worth the time instead of spending an hr to teach me how to use blue link how about taking time to demonstrate and talk about the workings of the car. If I could do it again I wouldn't purchase it

Was not my preferred car. It’s good on gas and the drive is smooth and quiet. Yes I would recommend this car. It was a selection suggested by the dealership.

  • Best Deal EVER

For the $0 down, $131/month, 15,000/miles/year 3 yr lease, and 50 MPG, it's rockstar like. Only thing is that in City traffic it underperforms the Prius Prime's mileage, as I used to have the predecessor Prius Plug in. But still, 30+ MPG no matter what is still stellar. Highly recommend over Elantra, etc.

  • The lest expensive car I ever owned. I

The only complaints I have are: the seats, too small and too hard. The ride, too hard on little bumps and very noisy ride. Besides that, the car exceeds my expectations. Great purchase.

  • Love the gas savings

I am so glad that I did not wait to purchase the car. 3+ weeks on 1 tank of gas, what more could you want. Almost as good as a magic carpet.

  • So far so good

Just bought the ioniq hybrid plug in and after a month it has been fantastic! Great gas mileage and it looks good. 30 miles on electric is perfect for around town.

  • Excellent value, minor design flaws

I’ve owned this car for 3 weeks so far and I have mostly a great review. There are some things I would like to mention to the Hyundai design crew. First: your key fob should not be that easy to detach from the physical metal key... it comes off accidentally in my pocket. Secondly: the “gas range estimate” is off a bit; the mileage is still about correct but the range on gas miles is not always accurate and is dependent on driving style/habits. Third: your actual MPG and which mode to use is also a question which depends on city vs. highway and hills or flat. Last: when going 0-60 on a highway on-ramp, the vehicle seems to jump when it transfers from the electric to gas engine... you should work on a less jumpy transition. Other than the above flaws, the car is great for my economy, great for the environment, great for safety features and the car has those tax incentives and rebates which make it very affordable. The only real downside is that tall people don’t fit well in the back seats. I highly recommend this car for economically, environmentally friendly consumers who want a sporty looking car that is actually green.

  • Excellent Plug-In Hybrid

Love the Hyundai Ioniq! Better than the Prius Prime in every way. Just purchased and think it's great so far! 30 mile all-electric range and 52 mpg in hybrid mode. My last car was a Hyundai that I owned for 15 years with no major issues, so very reliable. Great style and a joy to drive! And wireless charging for my phone!
