Vehicle Overview

The Toyota Tacoma midsize pickup truck is available in two cab styles: Access Cab and Double Cab. The Access Cab comes with a 6-foot bed, while the Double Cab can be had with a 5- or 6-foot bed. The Tacoma can seat up to five people in certain configurations. It competes with the Nissan Frontier and Chevrolet Colorado.
New for 2015
The regular-cab Tacoma has been dropped from the lineup. A new Utility Package for the four-cylinder Access Cab deletes the rear seats for more in-cab storage room.

The new TRD Pro Series Tacoma features 16-inch black alloy wheels, BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, high-performance Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, unique front springs, a TRD exhaust system, and a special grille and badges. Inside, TRD Pro Series trucks get a TRD shift knob and floormats.

Could afford a new vehicle but I really enjoy my 2015 Tacoma, also use it to tow rv and utility trailer. It’s a 4x4 trd. With 5’ bed and cap.

  • Bad gas mileage

Gas mileage sucks. I'm only getting 10 mpg on my 2015 toy Tacoma in the city. The mileage is worst than a diesel semi truck. No doorlock on the passenger side and that is a pain in the...... Not so much torck. Any little hill will sit back the truck.

  • Toyota’s Are the Best

First truck I have had in 15 years. It rides smooth and pulls great. So far the gas has been pretty good for a truck. Nice sleek design but still rugged enough to do what I need.

  • Very reliable.

I have owned Tacoma for 5 years, I bought it new. No even single issue since, it's very reliable. I just wish it would have more power, or 8-speed automatic transmission.
