Mike Castrucci Ford of Alexandria review
Rob has helped us with two cars this year. He listens to the customer and their needs. When you visit this dealership, ask for Rob! Nick, from the finance department, helped us this time. He was awesome too! However, I can?t say to ask for Nick because both of their finance people at this location are amazing. Prepared, quick working, and doesn?t dwell on paperwork or trying to sell more. Long story short, you?re in good hands.
2013 Ford Fusion review
I owned the 2013 Fusion SE with the 2.0 Liter Turbo engine for 10 years, and I loved it. It even had paddle shifters! It got me where I wanted to go, never left me stranded, even started right up in 6-degree weather on a trip last Dec. where it spent the night outside. Everything worked reliably - only replacements have been battery & tires. I kept it well-maintained and garaged when home, so that helps.

2011 Jeep Liberty review
This Jeep is undoubtedly the best of the cars that my fiance and I have owned. In the two short years since we bought it, we've taken it to southern Florida and back three times without any trouble. It's been reliable and for me, pretty comfortable. Love our Jeep!

2012 Mazda Mazda3 review
I bought this car brand new in 2012. Paid 17k. Worth every penny. It has 63k miles onit right now. Have never done anything other than change the oil and filter. It runs like it is expected. Slow and easy. You won't win no races with it. But it gets my wife to work with no issues. { 5 miles} Rain or snow. We have taken it on several road trips. Including a couple 1000 plus mile trips. Running wide open the whole way. It has no problem. I am a big guy. Very un comfy in most cars. But this I fall right into it and am able to climb back out with ease. The interior is cloth. Its starting to fade. But still no tears or wear marks. Theres nothing fancy about this car. But my wife loves it.

I did not purchase a car from Mike. However he was very thorough and all his communication with me. Sent me a very detailed video of the vehicle I was interested in. I appreciate his quick response, as well as his thoroughness, since I had told him that I was out of state. The vehicle was in good shape. Did not make the drive to purchase from Mike, is that I found another similar vehicle local to me, which saved me a trip.
2010 Chrysler Town & Country review
My problem with this vehicle is the exterior paint. my van experience clear coat and paint damage from exposure to the sun, I spoke to an auto body persone who informed me of the issue of poor quality paint that did not have UA protection in it. This only occured to the surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen review
This car is amazing. I bought it at the end of Feb 2021 for $11,000. That was about 4-6 weeks before the price of used cars skyrocketed. The first time i took it to a mechanic for some scheduled maintenance i found out that i have a “Unicorn.” It is quick and handles like a dream. I love that i don’t have to fuel it up as much as the gasoline version. The six speed manual transmission is amazing. A fun fact about this car is that it isn’t actually a Jetta. It’s a Golf. My manual 6 speeed TDI sportwagen is the most fun car i have ever owned.

2007 Toyota Camry review
My grandma drove this car off the lot, brand new. Has been a great car. After a few years it was passed on to my mom, then my dad, and now me. I’ve driven this car for 3 years now but unfortunately there is too much maintenance to be done for the money. Around 160k miles for us it has had minimal issues so I’d say it’s a great car. It started when we got back from a trip and one of the cylinders were misfiring (which was a spark plug and an easy fix). Around 170k miles we were driving it and it ended up overheating. We got it towed and it ended up being the water pump going out (as well as the serpentine belt needing to be replaced). After that we drove it for a few weeks but it started running rough, then we went to go home from work one night and it was idling super rough so we drove it home and decided not to use it until we could get it towed to a mechanic. It was blowing out lots of white smoke. Turns out the head gasket has blown (which we think was from the overheating done originally). Car has officially made it to 173k miles. We were hoping more but it’s not horrible considering. Something to look out for is this also burns a lot of oil. Be sure to check it often, every two weeks depending on how much you drive. Wish the engine had a recall or something for that issue. Overall great car but from my reading, don’t get a 2007-2013 if used since these are the years for oil consumption issues.

2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
I kinda feel in love with the GT 3.0 model when I seen how cool vin Diesel looked zooming around if the fast and the furious I love almost everything about this cat, starting with how it fits like a glove, and envelopes my body when I opening the door and getting in . There could be a slight headroom issue if you're 6' or taller That's easily overlooked because once seated adjusted and buckled it feels almost perfect. The satisfaction continues when I start the 3.0 liter naturally aspirated v6 engine and heat it's throaty growl. It accelerates nicely ,but leaves you wanting just a bit more .handled superbly on the freeway and in traffic.I can handled some hairpin turns at 50+ mph where lots of other comparable cars have to slow down to 25-30 mph . ( however I don't recommend that you do that .I tend to push performance cars to their absolute limits .the car is moderately easy mechanically speaking to work on .The engines oxygen sensors are a pain in the neck and can really throw a lot of other stuff crucial to high performance for a loop if I don't stay after it. Seems like it's quite a bit more difficult to satisfy the service engine soon light after the odometer goes pass 130,000 or so .the one big bright red flag with these cars would be the timing belt and how the motor is pretty much toast if I breaks while driving .Any driver buying this model should immediately replace the timing belt upon purchasing if the odometer has 80 thousand or more.

2005 Toyota Sienna review
This van is amazing. It was gifted to me by my grandparents with 290,000 miles on the engine. As of right now it currently has 314,000 miles. I am absolutely amazed by the integrity of this vehicle and how well it has held together over the years. Yes there are small cosmetic issues, as you would expect with a car that’s 18 years old. We chose to replace the coolant system around 300,000 miles. Minor set back, but it has run even better since then. The DVD player no longer works, but all the speakers are in fanatic condition, seats as well for the years of love, soccer games, and countless trips. This van has transported not 1 but 5 generations of family members over the years. We may look into a transmission swap- but I am honestly interested in finding out just how far this one will go. I definitely will only be purchasing siennas from here on out, as this one has proven that with proper maintenance, they will continue to thrive well after 300,000 miles.

2003 Volkswagen Passat review
Bought this from a used car place 7 years ago and it had no issues. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined so over the years I was able to fix things here and there. Asked a few friends for help on occasion. The past year I've changed a lot of parts but the car is almost 20 years old and 175k miles on it. Changing some parts are very tricky, but I've avoided the dealership or paying someone all this time. No rust on it either and I drive it in snowy weather every year. Turbo is so nice, nice and zippy vehicle.

Prepared, quick working, and doesn?t dwell on paperwork or trying to sell more. Long story short, you?re in good hands.

It got me where I wanted to go, never left me stranded, even started right up in 6-degree weather on a trip last Dec. where it spent the night outside. Everything worked reliably - only replacements have been battery & tires. I kept it well-maintained and garaged when home, so that helps.

Mike Castrucci Ford of Alexandria review
Kenton provided excellent service throughout the entire process. As an out-of-state buyer, I needed to be able to inspect and learn as much as possible about the vehicle without being there in person, and Kenton went above and beyond to help me do exactly that. He was responsive, helpful, and provided me with everything I asked for. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make a deal, which I’m honestly disappointed about because I really appreciated working with him. I want to thank Kenton for all his time, effort, and professionalism. I would definitely recommend working with him.

2005 Honda Odyssey review
This car rides smooth, interior in great condition, and so is exterior. A pleasure to drive! Everything is powered including both side doors, dual moonroof, low mileage for its age and had been very well taken care of!

Andy Mohr Buick GMC review
Customer service (Andy was our representative)is excellent! Both times he has been friendly, knowledgeable. I highly recommend this dealership. We have had good service and sales experience on both our gmc and Buick vehicles.
2006 Buick LaCrosse review
I bought the car 2 years old with 20,000 miles. I have owned it 18.years and am still driving it. We have not had to repair it at all. It has been taken on freeways, highways, and driven in town. Will not get rid of it for a new car as the 3.8.liter engine has been well worth the $13,000 I paid 18 years ago. Pretty sure a new vehicle will not compare to the reliability of my lacrosse.
