After 30+ years of wanting to own a Porsche I finally "joined the club" last week after finding the right one at Porsche Beaverton. The sales team of Chris and Ruben were great from showing me the right cars, letting me test drive a few, highlighting the key features of the 2025 718 Boxter GTS 4.0 I selected and then clearly going over all the paper work and options for the sale. The prep team was also great with Gee getting the car ready for me to drive it off two days later with the add-ons I desired. A beautifully designed and very powerful car. Everywhere you go, people will stop to look and take photos. If you don't like being the centre of attention - don't buy this car! The engine sound is just wonderful. Every start-up brings a smile to my face. The torque it provides is awesome - great acceleration at any speed and in any gear.

I've started by having previously a DB7 1997 MY 3.3 litre 6 cylinders, which I kept until I suffered a hip replacement surgery seven years ago, and due to the pain going in and going out of the car, I finally decided to sell it. But always having in mind the Aston Martin I've always wanted: the DB9. Which I lately and finely got one, a 2007 produced, in perfect conditions, same colour as the previous DB7 (metallic dark grey) and 55.000 kms on the clock. This car is a joy. And I recommend heavily any one who is getting the idea and the possibility of acquiring one, not to lose the opportunity. By the way, you don't have to be shy: it is a head turner - all the time - and even more, you can find more that some one taking photos with his or her camera while you drive that magnificent car. Grace, pace & space. No the DBS isn’t a Jaagg but it’s surely beautiful like an E Type. The newest DBS is leaps and bounds more sophisticated than the prior generation. The new 5.2 liter V12 may not sound as good as the old 6 liter but makes up for the lack of rasp with loads of torque. Liken it to a early 90s supercharged Vantage, it’s a real muscle car. Back seats are somehow even smaller than a 911s and the ride while being very well damped is still a bit harsh for this sort of GT car. Don’t compare it a F car, the 812 is far less comfortable though even more driver focused.

I own a newer 2014 Aston Martin DB9 Volante and can say they are absolutely awesome cars, and this is coming from someone who has owned Lamborghini, Corvettes, Dodge Viper, Mustangs, Camaro's etc... Such a beautiful car and they are in a league of their own. They certainly stand out in a crowd and unlike Corvettes and Ferraris, you will be a loner at Cars N Coffee because they are not so common.
