Northside FordReviews
Northside Ford review
Curtis saved the day! My Dad has dementia. We had just gone out to my Ford Explorer from a weekly lunch with his buddies at a restaurant about 10min away from Northside. My key fob suddenly didn’t work. I called AAA and they would only be able to tow us to a dealership to make a new key fob. I called Northside and they went above-and-beyond offering to come to us with a battery. Curtis quickly arrived, checked out my fob, and installed a new battery. Saved my Dad and me from what have been a probable 3hr-4hr ordeal, that would have completely confused my Dad. Curtis from Northside made it take only a mere 20min. Outstanding customer service!

Just purchased as a daily driver for work. Had it two months with 104,000 miles. Looks and drives great. Base model but I’m pleased with its features. I agree not a lot of power but purchase it as a work vehicle to garage my nicer vehicle.

No issues and it is much better than electric cars. Safer and much less expensive to own. Also much more convenient for normal driving .Not weekly range anxiety as I had when I owned an electric car. Never buy electric again.

Kendall Ford of Vancouver review
Someone at the dealership replied to me asking confirmation of a vehicle on their lot. Forwarded us to Mike Fraiser and after that everything just fell in place. Mike took very well care of us making sure we decided on the right vehicle for us and pressuring us into a certain direction of a vehicle to choose. Mike definitely had your best interest overall just a straight up great guy.
2017 Honda HR-V review
I own a 2017 Honda HRV 1.5 Petrol FW CVT (European model). I’m the first owner and I just reached 220k Kilometers. No issues so far except for a start/stop button replacement and a scheduled suspension replacement (200k). All the services and oil changes were made on time according to the manual. I also started doing the oil/fluid changes (engine & cvt transmission) in less kilometers than the proposed schedule once the car reached 180k kilometers. The European edition 1.5 petrol motor responds well but I believe that a bigger motor would be more suitable for the specific model. I’ve traveled a lot on asphalt, gravel and snow (with a good pair of snow tires) and in temperatures varying between 14 to 113 Fehrenheit.

Genuine Motor Company review
Thank you Genuine Motor Co. My family and I have been purchasing cars from Genuine Motor Company since 2016 from the first location. Since then we’ve been loyal customers. I just love this dealership and the people who are working there! They are amazing, never stressful, always friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging, and honest. I am on my 3rd Subaru and I will always come back!!!
2017 Porsche 911 review
The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

Porsche was my dream car and have owned the 2007 911 Carrera S for many years. It is everything I desired in a car. Smooth, fast, reliable and beautiful Black with Black interior and manual shift. I have owned two Corvettes, an MGB and Pontiac GTO, but the Porsche 911 is a keeper.

Out of state buyer, I purchased my 1970 Ford Torino. My sales person was Terry throughout the whole process. Not sure other buyers in past didn’t do their research before buying but overall this company and sales person Terry took care of me and worked with me. I hired a Mechanic to look at the vehicle we came to an agreement that satisfied both of us. Had my car delivered and was very pleased with my purchase. Thank you so much. I’ve been waiting so long to get my old car and relive my past!

Built solid, tons of room in the crew cab as well as in the long bed, gets better mileage than I thought it would 15.2- City and 17.8 HWY, 8.3 with 22K lb. 5th wheel. I don’t feel the Grand Design 397TH behind it on travel days. This truck is equipped with the 4:10’s H/O, A transmission. The vehicle when bought had 10,500 on it and I just rolled 15,835 with zero issues.

2019 Subaru Crosstrek review
Still learning how to use my Subaru to the best of its abilities. Always wanted one, just for the safety and how reliable they are. Love that all the buttons are lighted red makes it easier to see. The inside is spacious and comfortable. Like the old school and new school style of nobs to turn and the touchscreen. Dislike the fact I keep bumping my head on the top when I sit in the back with the gate up or is it the trunk. So far its stood up to rough streets I have to drive on in the city, so when I finally go off road it should do just fine. It's a little scratched up but still very, very pretty.

2018 Tesla Model S review
After living in a city and not owning a car for 10 years, this has been a pretty amazing car since my first ‘99 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I bought my 2018 Tesla S 75D used in April 2021 for $52k with about 35k miles on it. I saw similar models go for as high as 65k when used car prices went berzerk shortly after and now down to the 30s… But what I love about my car, that is a unique option for 2018, is having both the retractable sunroof and FSD capability. 2018, if my memory is correct, it is the last year a sunroof was available and the first year that the car had the hardware to handle FSD level software. And speaking of FSD, I do think calling it “Full Self Driving” is not really an appropriate description, it still gets a lot closer to autonomous than any other car brand out there currently (Jan 2024), and I don’t think it gets the credit it deserves. I can’t/shouldn’t lose focus of the road, but it does make longer drives a breeze. I don’t trust it completely and sometimes I intervene at times, but for the most part it takes a lot less mental energy out of driving and makes it that much more enjoyable. It’s as close to being a passenger while driving as I’ve gotten. As far as cons, I don’t have the long range battery and I live in the NYC area so when it is cold out especially, I might only get 3/4 of the estimated miles in actual miles. Fortunately it is garage kept at an apt building and probably doesn’t get below 50 degrees in there, and I lay $40/mo fixed to use the shared EV chargers in the building. There’s only few times I’m going on long enough drives to need to charge as long as I remember to charge it fully before going…. But looking back, I do think the longer range option would have been worthwhile. Some other highlights/things I like: - Premium sound option is great, has a small sub on the trunk and high quality mid/high end with a good EQ, so you tweak it to your liking and the quality will hold up all the way to level 11 (a Spinal Tap reference and one of many, many “easter eggs”). - This year was before the yolk steering wheel and pop out screen.. The screen in this year is gigantic, and the brightness adjustments and dark mode option make it less distracting than it sounds. - It’s FAST. I don’t have the ludacrous mode option but it’s still 0-60 in 4.2, and is oh so smooth and quiet on its way up. It also has a lot of “jerk” when you’re wanting to go from 40-60 or something like that too. (Fun math nerd fact- Jerk is the 2nd derivative of velocity and first derivative of acceleration. It’s how quickly acceleration accelerates.) - It’s a big car. The passenger space feels more like a 7 series BMW than a 5 series. And since it’s a hatchback style, it can haul a lot of stuff and some larger items more easily when you fold down the back row. Overall, I think it’s the best sedan on the market, and until another brand matches or surpasses Tesla’s “autopilot” capabilities, I’ll hold onto mine for as long as I can.

2015 Audi allroad review
I'd been eyeing the old version of the Allroad for so many years so when the new version came out, I had to have it! I can go from a business meeting, to dinner, to the mountains and the car fits the bill. The exterior design is eye catching yet not too flashy. It's sophisticated but yet rugged enough so that you don't worry about getting it dirty on dirt roads because once you hose it down, it'll look like a million bucks again. Power and handling are superior to my wife's Subaru Outback. You can drive it like a sports sedan through canyons and power up mountains with ease. I can fit my road bike w/ only 1 seat folded down, leaving plenty of room for a 3rd person and all our gear. Only issue I have (much like the cars.com reviewer) is with the MMI interface. I feel that BMW's interface was much easier and intuitive. Changing radio stations requires you to look at the screen, therefore taking eyes off road. In addition, changing the fan speed on the air conditioning requires 2 different motions instead of a quick turn of the knob like other cars. Other than that, I love this car and would recommend to active people looking for an upscale and fun car at a relatively decent price.

Rickie's Auto LLCReviews
Rickie's Auto LLC review
recently had the opportunity to work with Rickie’s Auto LLC, and I can honestly say that the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Buying a vehicle can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming, especially with so many dealerships focusing solely on making a quick sale. Rickie’s Auto LLC stands out because they truly prioritize customer service, transparency, and long-term relationships with their customers. From the moment I first reached out, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to answer every question I had without rushing me or pressuring me into making a decision. It was clear that they genuinely cared about helping me find the right vehicle that fit my needs, budget, and lifestyle rather than simply trying to sell me whatever was on the lot. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, keeping me informed and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. One thing that immediately stood out to me was their honesty and transparency. They provided detailed information about the vehicle, including its history, condition, maintenance, and overall performance. They were upfront about everything and encouraged me to do my own research, inspections, and due diligence. That level of openness built a tremendous amount of trust and gave me confidence in my purchase. It’s refreshing to work with a dealership that values integrity and stands behind what they sell. The quality of their inventory is also extremely impressive. It’s clear that Rickie’s Auto LLC takes pride in carefully selecting their vehicles. The cars and trucks on their lot are well-maintained, clean, and competitively priced compared to the market. They clearly focus on offering vehicles that provide real value rather than just moving units. You can tell they put effort into making sure their inventory meets high standards before offering it to customers. Another thing I appreciated was how accommodating and flexible they were throughout the buying process. They took the time to explain financing options, warranty opportunities, and protection plans without being pushy or overwhelming. They made sure I understood all available options so I could make the best decision for my situation. Their willingness to work with customers and provide solutions really sets them apart from many other dealerships. Customer service is clearly a top priority at Rickie’s Auto LLC. The entire team was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Even after the sale, they remained available for questions and support, which shows they truly stand behind their customers and their reputation. That level of after-sale care is rare and speaks volumes about their business values. What impressed me the most is that Rickie’s Auto LLC operates with a strong sense of community and reputation. They are a locally owned business that clearly takes pride in serving their customers and building lasting relationships. It’s obvious they rely on trust, word-of-mouth referrals, and repeat customers, which says a lot about the quality of service they provide. Overall, I highly recommend Rickie’s Auto LLC to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle and a dealership that operates with honesty, professionalism, and genuine customer care. Whether you are buying your first vehicle or adding another to your collection, you can feel confident working with them. My experience was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again or recommend them to friends and family. The best mid-size truck on the market….bar none!! It handles great and the 2.3 liter engine is extremely powerful when needed. I would buy again and not think twice about it.

Kendall Ford of VancouverReviews
Kendall Ford of Vancouver review
I want to give a huge thank you to Jeremy "808" and his boss Kiyoshi at Kendall Ford Vancouver!! Ive had my new truck for a couple weeks now and couldn't be happier! This is my 100% honest review of my experience.. I viewed a 2018 Nissan Frontier that Kendall had advertised online. I sent inquiry, Jeremy responded via text almost immediately. We soon spoke over the phone, I explained my situation of negative equity in my current car and a low fixed income. I really pushed the fact that it has to be the right deal.. right payment, right vehicle or I wouldnt bite. Jeremy assured me that if I would make the trip in, he'd be able to make the deal I needed/wanted. To be honest, I was skeptical.. heard it before just to get the run around or a bad deal. To my very pleasant surprise, "808" did exactly what he promised! Before I arrived he and Kiyoshi had already discussed a few options for me. First option was a really good deal but more then what I needed.. I wanted mid-size crew cab truck. Again, first truck (chevy silverado 4x4 zr1) was beautiful and a great deal but more than I needed. I honestly figured this would be the moment it would all fall down and id leave with no new deal and frustrated.. just the opposite happened! They brought out my dream truck! A beautiful black Nissan Frontier SV! So this would be the point now to get me excited, stick me with a ridiculous price and high payments right?? Wrong again! They swallowed 6k of negative equity on my trade in and still sold me the Frontier for 1k under blue book! The truck also qualified for Kendalls free 6 month power train warranty so no worries that I was getting a great deal on a bad truck.. I absolutely love my truck, I have zero buyers remorse, kept the same payment as my trade in, cleaned up a ton of negative equity and now have a vehicle that will retain its resale value long after I get my use out of it. Thank you again Jeremy "808" and Kiyoshi for taking great care of me!
2018 Honda Civic review
I have had my car for a few years now. I have 102k on it now. I took it in for the A/C recall and Fuel pump. My injectors were replaced as part of the fuel pump recall. I have had zero other issues, all was paid for. I am as happy with it now as I have ever been. I get a constant 35MPG combined and it has 205hp with excellent handling. I’m old, I’ve had a lot of cars. This is truly an engineering marvel. How could you get this mileage and power for that price? Do your research. I drive it very aggressively in so cal canyons etc and it makes me smile.. that alone is worth the reasonable price. Mine is stock, but my warranty just ended at 100k so stay tuned……

This is definitely a well built truck. Rugged and durable plus a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing interior. Bought it primarily for farm use and towing trailers. However, after riding in the spacious cab my wife is now making plenty of travel plans for places we can take it.

2022 Toyota Camry review
Overall, I think the Camry Nightshade is a great car if you want something reliable, stylish and comfortable for daily driving. The blacked-out wheels and trim give the car a sleek and sporty look that makes it different from a regular Camry. The car rides smooth and comfortable and does very well on the highway. It's spacious and the seats are comfortable.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE model is a great choice - interior road noise & front seats that do not glide back enough are my ‘wish I would have paid attention to’ regrets. If passengers are over 6’2” with long legs, they do not fit in the front seat comfortably & many times I feel like an Uber driver with them choosing the back seat when going distances. Hybrids make a lot of noise when backing up which can turn heads - this is normal so don’t be alarmed. Gas mileage is terrific & its sporty exterior is over the top. I do love it & recommend it if not concerned about the cons I have mentioned.

2018 Subaru Outback review
I have the 2018 Outback 3.6R Limited, at 110,000 miles I replaced all struts and wheel bearing, the ride still isn’t the best but air pressure in tires kept at 39 psi has improved the ride significantly. I had a 2021 with the 4 cylinder engine and the reason I got rid of it was the cvt is fragile and doesn’t handle much weight or towing plus the screen and push buttons for everything, very distracting when driving and looking for the right soft touch function. I have had much better results going backwards to the 2018 6 cylinder engine and heavy duty cvt. It uses a 5W30 engine oil which is a million times better than 0W20 which honestly is really thin and breaks down quickly.

2015 Porsche 911 review
What can you say about any 911? The one I test drove was the S. It’s just the perfect sports car. Light, just enough power to go fast, not overwhelming. Comfortable, quiet, composed at any speed. The soft top is so quiet. Almost like a regular top. With the top down, you can still hold a somewhat normal conversation at highway speeds. Just the perfect car for a cruise or fast run on a sunny day.

My partner and I visited 4 other dealerships before stopping at Newberg CDJR. Mike met us as we parked. Warm greeting, no pressure. He showed us a couple of 2025 Ram 2500 trucks. Took us for a test drive, on my route not his. Gave me a great deal on my trade in and a very fair price. Whole time was very relaxed, never any pressure. Mike was a great sales person, Jeff did the paperwork and was also very laid back. Ive already recommended this dealership, Mike and Jeff to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. They are the “GOAT!”

2024 Honda Prologue review
We bought this car on December 30th of 2025, with 41 miles on it. It was being sold as used because Honda had sold/leased it to themselves to collect the $7,500. By the time we bought it, it was down to $26,500, an incredible $30,000 discount. I'm saying this because it also is the basis for how happy I am with the car after $4,300 miles. We have had one trip to the dealer to replace a blower fan and will soon take it in for some big software updates. We have not experienced some of the issues (yet) that other people report, but we have a Honda warranty that takes us almost 8 years and 100,000. From my time on the Prologue forums, there are good dealers and bad dealers, just like any other car. Being that the Prologue is almost an orphan car (discontinued and not to be replaced), I think that it's important to find a good dealer who will stand behind the product. Now for the car: We are very happy overall with the range, the ride and the acceleration. I would say that some of the interior trim could have been upgraded a bit and I see some minor flaws in some of the trim and panel gaps. At this point I am going to say I almost love the car, but it's still early. It has sold us on having an electric car, especially with the price of gas today! I have calculated that with the price of electricity where we live in South Carolina, we are paying about $.04 a mile. If I was buying now, I would take a long look at a low mileage (probably CPO) Prologue and and stop losing $5-600 a month in depreciation.
