Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

I cannot believe that BMW put a 4 cylinder with turbo in an X3. It is the single problem I have with my car. otherwise it is perfect. The 6 cylinder in my 2005 was Awesome!!!!! BMW stands for Performance, GIVE IT.

It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

I purchased my brand-new car in December of 2019. I also financed a service contract. Since then, my car has continued to run excellently. I'm prompted for regularly scheduled services (approx. every 5,000 miles). After scheduling my appointment and arriving on time, I was immediately checked in. I choose to wait for the service. While waiting, I am provided with a text number where I can check on the status. The work is regularly completed within an hour and a half. All of the costs have been covered by my contract. All the personnel from the check-in until the delivery after service are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There are service locations closer to me, but I greatly appreciate the service that I get at Koons Chevrolet GMC Clarksville.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

Before you buy any BMW older than 2018, check out the Isley V BMW lawsuit. You will find the V8 in all pre 2018 BMW's to be problematic for oil leaks and valve stem failures due to defective engine design and excessive heat. I have this X5 with the V8 and it's a wonderful car to drive and look at. It's my 5th BMW and by far the most reliable. Unfortunately, even with all the meticulous care, my car has experienced the oil leak and smoking exhaust, just like all the N63 & N63TU engines through 2018 will experience this problem and the cost to repair exceeds $20K from the dealer. If you find one that had the valve stem seals replaced, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, it's a great vehicle in many ways.

Great online experience but I receive too many duplicate emails. Online rep, sales rep and another sales rep. Multiple emails, BUT I prefer that over little email.

Only have been driving the car for a week, but it is clearly the best SUV I have experienced. My wife drives the Mercedes 300 - a fine car as well, but I have always preferred BMY engine performance and handling. The X3 is simply a pleasure to drive.

I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

I have owned the original X3 and followed up with this model. The second generation is certainly a few steps above as far as comfort, style and driving performance. 2012 is the last year the 28i is powered by the 3.0L inline 6. Acceleration is great after getting the software update. Prior to it, I had the aggravating slow response met with a rush of acceleration. The software update has smoothed out the throttle greatly. The ride is super comfortable for day to day as well as trips. I have taken this car on long trips a few times this year and it is great on gas, very comfortable seats and great visibility. It is easy to park and has a tight turning circle. The handling feels like the 3 series sedan! Going up and down hills and mountainsides feels secure. Feature wise, I fully recommend the backup camera and parking sensors as well as the heated seats/steering wheel. Cargo space is adequate for this class and three average sized adults can fit in the backseat comfortably. I will say that BMW has this peculiar way of stripping the cars down in the past 10 years and labeling it as "customization." You notice the small things such as no puddle lights on my particular car, as well as having to get packages for an improved interior/exterior. Another example is if you do not get the Navigation, you do not get the nicely done, upscale graphics on the speedometer area. You have to add leather, a sunroof, heated seats, etc. My older BMW's had a lot of these more common features standard. If you buy this car used, be sure to pay attention to the features and how it was optioned. Overall, the car has been very reliable and a joy to drive!

Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! 1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

After a car accident I was not prepared to buy a new car and it was a stressful experience. However ,I highly recommend Chantilly Audi. It was the first place I went after a friend recommended that location. I wasn't sure About buying the car I saw so I checked out Arlington, Tyson's Corner, and Maryland's dealerships. Maryland was too much of a drive than a hassle to go back to. Tyson's corner was really nice But they didn't have what I was looking for. Arlington had another car I was interested in but I would. My gut feeling about Arlington was not good, the reviews about Arlington are not great and my experience ended up being awful. Not recommended At Chantilly Audi , I also highly recommend Kathy for sales, Who was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. 5 Stars for Kathy!!!! I am so excited about my car!

I absolutely love this car. Sleek design, very sharp looking. Drives like a dream. It takes a bit to learn where controls are for dash but, once you got it down, its easy.

Without discussing the beginning of my car search journey, I will go straight to the end of my journey with Nissan / Hyundai located in Waldorf MD. Anne Maus, Todd Zaciek, Denzel Payne and Max Cho... My search started May 9, 2022 and Ended June 7, 2022. It went from dealing with 2 sales associates I would NEVER recommend, to dealing with an EXCELLENT salesperson that assisted me for three weeks. Hands down Anne Maus (Nissan Dealer) is the best sales associate to have assisted me with my car search. Anne and I spoke, texted and emailed for 3 weeks. I finally went to the dealer on Saturday, May 29, 2022. I test drive 3 vehicles and fell in LOVE with the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, because the vehicle was a certified vehicle I had to work with a Hyundai Sales Associate. After 5 days of being jerked around, the vehicle I fell in love with was sold. I texted my disappointment to the manager. I immediately received a call from Todd Z. Mr. Todd Z., went above and beyond to assist me in purchasing a vehicle. The next day Mr. Todd Z. sent me information on another Santa Fe. The truck that I fell in love with didn't even compare to the truck Mr. Todd Z sold me! I arrived at the Dealer on June 7, 2022 to sign off on my paperwork. I received nothing but TOP NOTCH SERVICE from my original Sales associate Anne Maus, a new sales associate from Hyundai, Denzel Payne. Denzel Payne showed me how to work all the gadgets on my new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate. Mr. Max Cho, the finance gentleman was very pleasant to work with, he made my experience very easy. When I say I can not THANK these 4 individuals (Anne Maus, Denzel Payne, Max Cho and last but not least Mr. Todd Z.) enough. I would recommend ANNE MAUS to anyone. Ms. Maus is very passionate about helping her customers. Ms. Maus listened and understood from day 1 what type of vehicle I was looking for and took her time to deal with me. This is the best X5 I've ever owned. I've been using it for 2 years and this is my 4th BMW. It has never disappointed me, it's a fantastic SUV. I hope the next model will show the same success. I think the 3.0-liter engine is at its best.
