2017 Cadillac XT5 Luxury Review

My dash keeps saying service transmission had it back the the dealer 3 times and it has yet done it again so back to the dealer again! The interior has faded terribly and I keep it in my garage I work at home. The interiors seems cheap to me. The tires have faded they look so ugly. I am not satisfied with my XT5 at all. Key fobs went dead after 2 1/2 years so everytime I unlocked my doors the car alarm would go off so embarrassing. I am currently leasing it and plan on turning it back in when the lease is up and buying something else. I would of bought this XT5 but way too many issues.
AMAZING!! Spacious and drives good! Glad we purchased this vehicle. Pretty much has everything you need in a vehicle that your looking for. This vehicle is definitely reliable and easy to keep up with.
I am in the few and far between that value style and comfort over most things. This car had those in aces. I bought it 2 years ago with 95k, I've loved it ever since. Mine is basically perfect inside and out, and I've kept it that way. Beautiful styling, comfortable and quiet ride, and haven't had to do any work besides plugs and typical maintenance. I can't say it enough, love my car.
I shopped around several dealers looking for the best deal on a new Silverado pickup. Not only did they give me the best price but also gave me the most for my trade in. Treated me like family, the next day I told my wife we would continue our search
And went right back to orr CHEVROLET and purchased! I couldn't believe it because years ago I wouldn't go on the parking lot. Great place to buy a car!

The air conditioner vents blow out sticky foam!
by Irritared from The Villages, Florida

The foam coming from the vents seems to be an issue in every car ! It gets on the interior and my clothes! A pain in the butt!
I bought a Journey through Red River. Worked with Brad West. Great experience! I told him what I wanted and what I could afford. He worked out a great deal on my car fast. The customer service was excellent. I'm referring others to them. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!
2019 Cadillac Escalade Standard Review
Poorly made every year
by Drcarr from San Antonio, Tx
February 10, 2019
Every year these Escalades a poorly made but the price increases by $20k. Had to make a tough decision but after near 20 years of owning Escalades I had to pass this year. I thought maybe the Tahoe Ltz. but then I saw the news about GM response to racism at one of their plants and the closing of a plant so save cost but I can guarantee the price of the Escalade will increase next year.
After having a terrible experience at the local dealership where I live, I drove back to the dealer I bought my 2017 Chevy Colorado. It is 125 miles from where I live. I was not only treated like family, but they service manager, Paul Wilkerson, himself drove my truck(with me along) till we found the problem. While it was a design flaw that GM is aware of and nothing can be done about it. At least they didn't just do part changes like the other deal did for nothing. I cannot say enough nice things about these guys! I have bought two vehicles from them in the last 18 months!

Great Styling and Performance. 1st run glitches.
by NeverAgain from Warren, OH

The styling and finishes inside and out are fantastic. The Cue system on the 15 isn't my cup of tea, as it's tedious to navigate radio stations and takes your eyes off the road.
Performance is great at 39k miles. I'm still rolling the factory rubber and have some life left on them. Other than oil changes, no other regular maintenance has been required yet.
We have had 2 warranty issues. The panels behind the doors on both the driver and passenger sides came loose and were causing wind noise at highway speeds. Also, the car refused to go into gear one day. It was the transmission solenoid. That required a tow to the dealership.
I got a loaner 16 Escalade as a loaner and noticed that it seems to drive a bit better. There was a transmission change in the 16s.
Pros: Styling. Amenities. Comfort. Towing capability. Finishes.
Cons: 1st year run issues.
