2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. I am a first time Mazda owner and having commited to older (proven) technology in a changing turbulant world ( ICE engine not Hybrid or EV) I can only hope that this purchase plays out well.........Fingers crossed and happy motoring Zoom Zoom!

2023 Hyundai IONIQ 6 review

2025 Hyundai ELANTRA review
This is the first car I have bought brand new in Sept of 2024. It is an extremely nice looking car. I had bought the turbo, N-Line version because I wanted more power. For the almost 2 years I have had it now, it runs great. I have only had one issue of the ABS module going bad in it. That was an uphill battle with getting the dealership to take a stab at fixing the problem (claiming the manufacturer wouldn't allow them to make guesses on issues unless they experienced it firsthand). Thankfully months later (and from getting in contact with the manufacturer directly), the problem of the ABS kicking on briefly had been resolved. This issue was extremely sporadic so it was hard to identify. I now have 20k miles put on this car and I love it. It runs great, the turbo could engage a bit faster compared to other comparable cars I have driven, but besides that it is very nice. Interior is fantastic beside the weird passenger, center-console handle. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a new, base model car. You can get the more expensive packages if wanted, but the price of the base model would warrant enough of a purchase out of me.

2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
I would recommend this car for a single individual, maybe as a commuter or a teenage driver. I wouldn’t recommend for growing families. Four adults will not fit comfortably, it’s just too small. I wish I would have got the CX-70 but they’re just too expensive.

2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
I`ve only had the Kia Sportage EX AWD hybrid for 3 weeks previously owning a 2023 Toyota Rav4 XLE (gas) that seemed bullet proof even after 30K miles. Looking to upgrade to a new hybrid vehicle I was thoroughly impressed with my Kia test drive . The Kia Sportage is so smooth and quiet with strong acceleration and comes with an automatic transmission instead of a CVT. I had studied all the reviews available and concluded that this was among the top compact SUV hybrids .

2026 Kia Sportage review
2026 Sportage X-Line. Great car, comfortable, smooth ride. I was amazed at the insane number of extra features you get for your money. I feel like I'm driving a $60k car. 2022 Ford Maverick review
I own the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid and so far with roughly 28,000 miles on it I love it. Cannot believe the gas mileage that I get. From April thru Nov I am in the upper 40's to low 50's. That is driving in the cities and highways between the cities. Any long travels on the expressway and my mileage drops to the mid to low 30's. When I purchesed it in 2022 I stayed with the standard XLT interior and I do not regred not upgrading it. It is comfortable for a vehicle and it is quiet. I have easily gotten 4 golf bags in the truck bed and 4 golfers in the cab with one of those golfers standing at 6 foot 8 inches. I've also been able to get 2 10 foot kayaks in the bed with no problem. Yes, they extended beyond the tailgate but had no problems. So far I rank my purchase of my 2022 SLT Ford Maverick Hybrid as one of the top two vehicles I've purchased in my life time, and I will be 74 in 2025.

2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
I purchased the Kia Sportage EX Hybrid model. It is very comfortable and nice to drive. There are many extras with this model. I am still learning the options available. I purchased it on 11/1/2025 the phone app is great to have. The warranty is great as well, we took the paint protection plan considering we live in the Midwest. Go check out the Kia Sportage Hybrid I think you will find it worth your while.

2026 Kia Sportage review
Honestly one of the best vehicles I’ve owned so far. My Kia Sportage has been super reliable, comfortable on long drives, and surprisingly good on gas. The interior feels modern and spacious, and the ride is smooth whether I’m driving around town or on the highway. Haven’t had any major issues with it and it’s been a great daily driver overall. Definitely recommend it if you want something practical that still looks nice and feels good to drive.

He introduced us to the General Sales Manger Jonathan. After formalities were over, I listed all the things we were looking for. I then started throwing out numbers to him to see if he’d take a specific price for different vehicles. I thought I could win him over with a little charm. He explained that used cars are locked in at sticker price. Disappointed I started to look a newer cars on the lot. Thinking I’d never be able to afford a new car. Jonathan introduced us to Yuri. It only took one test drive with Yuri and I had to have the 2024 Kia Forte G-Line. During the test drive Yuri explained all the features. As someone whose vehicles are from the 2000’s, this was all new to me. He was confident in the ability of Kia’s performance and knew each feature in depth. He was friendly, outgoing, and made us laugh throughout the entire test drive. During the sales process we explained that we already had a loan from our credit union that we were going to use. We told him the % rate we had from our pre-approved loan and he said that he thought he could beat it, so we provided him the information he needed. Both Yuri and Jonathan found us a loan that beat our credit union by 3%. The entire sales process took maybe two hours from the test drive, finishing the paperwork, driving our new car off the lot. We were contacted by Kia a few days later to set up time to install a clear bra. We were met once again by Devin who was friendly and answered all of our questions with ease. When we picked up the car, Devin was ready for us, explained service recommendations, and wanted to make sure we didn’t have any unanswered questions regarding our new car. After, this experience and the follow up calls from the Beaverton Kia we will be recommending Kia and their exceptional service to all of our family and friends.
2025 Kia K4 review
Car is great on gas mileage and comfort, just doesn’t have the get up and go needed to get to speed going onto highways and freeways.

Curtis saved the day! My Dad has dementia. We had just gone out to my Ford Explorer from a weekly lunch with his buddies at a restaurant about 10min away from Northside. My key fob suddenly didn’t work. I called AAA and they would only be able to tow us to a dealership to make a new key fob. I called Northside and they went above-and-beyond offering to come to us with a battery. Curtis quickly arrived, checked out my fob, and installed a new battery. 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.
