2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
I've owned many high performance cars--BMWs, Jaguars, Mercedes, including previous Corvettes, and driven many others. My 2024 Hard Top Convertible C8 Z51 with 3LT trim outdoes them all... in looks, performance, luxury and reliability. This car is stunning inside and out. The exterior design still looks like a Corvette, but with stunning and cutting edge mid-engine styling. The handling and shifting are sublime and, in fact, the C8's eight speed DCT is the exact same one found in the $260K Maserati MC20 Cielo... even the C8's hard top was designed by the same German company that made the Maserati's top... all the way down to the little adjustable rear window. Finally, let's not forget the LT2 engine that is pure sweetness, proven and reliable. Step inside and you'll find the C8's interior is both functional and ultra luxurious, with advanced styling that goes beyond most sports cars... from the impeccable leather stitching and full aluminum paddles to the amazing looking floating dash and the slim, almost invisible air vents. The glove compartment and console don't need locks because they lock automatically when you get out of the car. Every possible driver need has been considered, from side view mirrors that lower when the car is in reverse so that you can see the curb when parking.... in addition to the mirrors folding inward--either automatically programmed or with the touch or a button that's conveniently located on the armrest. Settle your hands on the not completely round, but curvy, leather laden steering wheel, and you're given a unique treat of design meant to work for optimal human use. Press the heated steering button and the wheel warms up exactly where you place your hands, above or below the spokes. Most sports cars are known for their nefarious blind spots... but with the digital rear view mirror and blind-spot monitoring in the 2024, this issue is all but eliminated and makes this a very safe car on the road. Add in mag ride control, and it's a magic carpet grand tourer that soaks up the road like a large sedan. But the moment you press the Z Mode (there are 4 built-in modes, plus 2 customizable) the aggressive nature of the nearly 500 hp beast jolts alive. With performance traction control, fade free larger Brembos, and the electronic slip differential plus special Z51 gearing, the C8 doesn't merely drive-- it pounces and leaps like an unbridled racing thoroughbred while hugging the corners effortlessly. The interface seamlessly blends both screen and buttons for easy usability. For example, the MC20 Maserati has no button for raising or lowering the hardtop; users must go through the computer screen interface to raise or lower the top. But the C8 has a dedicated button--push it down to open the top; pull it up to bring the top down. Simple. Intuitive. Easy. The C8's entire interface its like that.... there are intuitive buttons for many features-- such as raising and lowering the front lift, windows and climate controls. 2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
Thats is an actual supercar. I have never driven a car that makes me smile more while driving. The mid-engine and sloped front end gives it the Ferrari vibes and it constantly delivers. The interior is surprisingly luxurious and I have not had a single mechanical issue with it.

2025 Chevrolet Corvette review
We have had several new corvettes, the C8 is a masterpiece. What a great vehicle with unbelievable performance, it's quick, responsive and can great gas mileage. The down side is that I never get to drive it because my wife has claimed it as her car.

2020 Chevrolet Corvette review
I bought a first year C8. Everyone warned me of failures. I replied it’s a Chevy, created with a lot of pride in Bowling Green KY USA. Worst case scenario it had and has GM extended warranty. To date with 27,000 miles only had problems with the front bumper, it had to be repainted three times. Did Museum delivery. We drove to Pahrump, did the school. Then drove Rte. 66 to Missouri then the Tail of the Dragon then home. It looks just as beautiful today as when we first saw it. To me I think the E-Ray is the best of all. Great horsepower, acceleration and gas mileage and no gas guzzler tax.

I was looking at buying a 2014 Toyota Corolla and Willie was the 1st person I talked to at the dealership. There was absolutely no pressure from the start of the conversation to even buy the vehicle. Before we even talked about anything sales wise he recommended that I take a look at the car and test drive it before anything to make sure it was everything I wanted. Even during the test drive, we didn't talk about buying the car, it was just a normal conversion. After test driving the vehicle I needed to think about it and even then Willie never tried to keep me at the dealership to try and buy the car. He followed up with me a few days later to see how everything was going and even put the car on hold for me so no one else would take it/buy it. I ended up not buying the vehicle this time, after thinking about it for a few days. The customer service I received and the atmosphere that, i'd have to say Willie created, was Fantastic and would highly recommend asking for him if you are looking for a car. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received, and will be going back to him towards the end of the year to then purchase a vehicle.
2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
Never owned a Corvette before my 2020 C8 2LT. This American sports car is a super car costing 3 & 4 times less than others. My only disappointment is the camera in the interior rear view mirror. Head lights and driving lights flutter in the camera and at night following vehicles appear to be in a fog. It's a smart man's super car.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette review
Love vetted since Route 66. This is 2nd C7,Velocity Yellow. Looks great and is a hoot to drive. Being 11years old it has a few issues but they are of no significance.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
2024 Stingray Z51 Convertible. Great buying experience and no issues in 7 months and 5K miles. Great features and and runs great with better than expected fuel mileage. Just a couple Cons - Run flat summer tires are somewhat noisy and not offered with adaptive cruise.

Although more than a year had passed since my initial negative Google review, the general manager did contact me directly when this re-post came to his attention. Apparently, his staff had not informed him of the reported issue at the time of my initial complaint. While nothing could change the past, I have to say that he did seem sincere in his concern about the circumstances and willingness to correct any shortcomings. He advised that his service department had undergone management/leadership adjustment since my negative experience . I have to give him credit and respect for reaching out even after a year. I choose to believe that he is genuinely concerned about his customers and was mislead by his then service staff.
2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
This is my 6th corvette in my lifetime. There are no other vette that compares. I got a lot of looks with the other vettes, however, this one, they want to touch it and think it is something other than a vette. People who put this car down do not understand the true sport car enthusiast. For those people, drive your Volkswagens and KIA's and stay in the right lane as we pass you with raw power and xxxxxxx up the outside attention. Just look at its value holds or go up in some cases or get the other ones and watch it lose $15000 as you drive off the lot. So lastly, for those who put this car down mainly cannot afford one. There nothing wrong with that, however, let the rest enjoy their life!!

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
Came from 2019 Challenger Hellcat to a 2023 C8 70th anniversary special edition in Carbon Flash. Handling is superb, fast and corners like on rails! Little hard to get into but suede interior is beautiful! Looks amazing! Reliable thus far! Shop around, for a good price!

1974 Chevrolet Corvette review
For those considering the purchase of a '74 Vette, the most important consideration is if you are actually seeking a performance car, then this is a very poor choice for you. Even though this model year was the last before the introduction of catalytic converters, street performance is abysmal at best. The base engine (and most common available) gives you 195 HP and a zero to sixty time of around 8.9 seconds. To put that into contemporary standards, that 0-60 time is identical to a base 2025 Nissan Sentra. In other words, virtually any contemporary car is absolutely going to scorch you at stoplights. If you buy an older Vette, you either have to go back in time to get sports car speed, or forward in time to at least the mid to later eighties. That's the bad news. The good news is that if you want a car with stunning, sports car styling, and a car that's a reliable street cruiser, then this is a car that should go to the top of your list. These cars are bargains today- probably because the performance is so abysmal. The interior of the car is a tight fit, and this is true especially of the narrow foot area. For many, myself included, I find this to be a positive. It fits like a very comfortable glove. I currently own one of these, and it's my second. Despite the performance I love it as a comfortable street or highway cruiser. So if you can live with the performance issues seriously consider this car.

1977 Chevrolet Corvette review
I’ve had my C3 for 2 mos and havn’t even begun restoration yet, The compliments are off the chain. People in Dallas are not used to Classic’s especially of this caliber… I can’t wait to put her in the paint shop and then we’ll see where it goes from there, the engine is in excellent condition just a little tweaking on suspension and it’s a keeper…. Love My Car!!!

2007 Chevrolet Corvette review
I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

1964 Chevrolet Corvette review
C2 styling is one of the best that Chevy ever produced. This car will continue to go up in value every year, better than money in the bank. While being over 50 years old, I've never had any issues with this car, always starts right up, run great. Never overheats as I added electric cooling fans in addition to the mechanical cooling fan.

1996 Chevrolet Corvette review
Mine is a forest green / tan top convertible with a manual tranny and LT4 engine. With 41 K on the clock and a boat load of oil change tickets in the console, I think it's got a lot of life left. Paid $20 K and have no regrets.

1981 Chevrolet Corvette review
It's been 7 years since I wrote my last review on the same car . Not much has changed since then. I have made a few up grades each year. Bluetooth for an unbelievable concert type sound with or without the T-tops on , Added heat deflective padding under the carpeting and went with a new AC system for really hot summer days. Prices are a bit higher to get into the 80 to 82 models. These ride so much better than the 68 to 79 years. Also, they look cleaner with the built-in rear spoiler. From kids to older adults, Parts are a breeze still to get and its going on 43 years old. You get a lot of thumbs up with smiles on the road with this classic

Had my C3 for 40 years now. Have yet to take it out for a ride that I didn't get a thumbs up or a comment from passer bys. Parts are available from many parts suppliers. The 350 engine parts are easier to find than my other cars. I am constantly told at a cruise in how it 's looks are better than most. Total enjoy my beautiful car.

1984 Chevrolet Corvette review
I got my '84 Corvette from the original owner, a deceased family member. The car only has 21k miles, but it hadn't been driven in several years before I took ownership. Having owned a C3 Corvette, I already had an appreciation for Corvettes in general. I initially didn't want the '84 because I had read many negative comments about the Crossfire fuel injection system. However, it was a good deal, and I wanted a new project. Today, I am happy to say that I love this car. Like any car that is 40 years old, you will need to replace/rebuild some things, like gaskets, vacuum hoses, throttle bodies, and whatnot. Overall, it was great to do some wrenching again, and with a few upgrades, this car runs very well and is reliable. I also realized that those who talk about the '84 year negatively never own one and just repeat the nonsense they've heard about the car.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!
