518 Auto Sales review
I came to 518 to get a truck for myself and ran into a great group pf professionals. Everyone at the dealership was awesome but the manager Wendy was my favorite and I appreciated her help in getting me n my Ford F150! I highly recommend them!
2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
I purchased my 2018 Silverado LT Z71 crew cab, 5.4 litre V8 in April of 2018 as a business vehicle with the express purpose of towing a 5x10 trailer (1000+ lbs.) 20+ weekends per year. The majority of the time, the truck sits in my driveway until I need to pull the trailer. Even with the trailer and truck bed fully loaded down, and using Trailer Mode, the truck performs flawlessly. It had 16 miles on the odometer when I drove it off the dealership lot. Granted, I have driven it for a couple of 300 mile trips to the coast and back, but other than that, it's only used for business. It has never been driven hard. The 4 wheel drive works incredibly well. As of today, 8-25-2026, the odometer has 43,356 actual miles on it. I have lovingly maintained the truck since purchasing it, with regular and routine oil changes, tire rotation and chassis lube when needed. It has been the best vehicle that I have ever owned. I always get the same reaction from the CSR's at the dealership where I purchased it when I bring it in - "You don't drive this truck much do you?" - Always makes me smile. My daily driver is a 2016 GMC Canyon V6, which has been shown the same amount of love and care. The only issue it has ever given me, is a programming issue with the touchscreen, but a factory reset fixed that issue.

I’m very surprised with the quality and build of the truck for preowned. My first truck that I’ve personally owned but I’ve had experience with trucks before. I’m really enjoying the new truck and look forwards to using this daily.

My son bought a used 2018 gmc sierra from a different dealership and thankfully he purchased the extended warranty. 3 months owning the truck, the truck became impaired as a piston rod broke and was lost internally. With the help of Conner of Arnie Bauer and 4 weeks of constant communication with the extended warranty company, Conner am the management from the dealership prevailed and now my son has a new truck. Me and my family would love to thank Conner and the staff that assisted us. It looks like we have now extended our family. Welcome to the family Arnie Bauer. And thank you… Kevin W. Manhattan IL

I have bought both of my last 2 vehicles from them and Shawn Haynes and Ali are both incredible. They work with you and are very friendly and that just makes the visit that much better. I love to just go sit and talk to them bc they get to know you on a more personal level not just as a potential customer but in general. When I bought my first car after I signed papers it wouldn't start and they offered to put me in another vehicle but I wouldn't let them bc I loved the vehicle I purchased so I dealt with the problem and finally figured it out. But they are both very honest and will put you in the vehicle that's right for you

2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
Overall I love This. Chevy truck. Aside from the minor issues that Chevy should have taken care of long ago Such as Intermittent transmission failureThat cost me $3100 at 60000 miles. And the power train output that could have been much more which I enhance using a super chip program that Actually woke this engine up the 5.3 by the way. And they should have long eliminated the active fuel management. But after all these issues I love the Chevy truck come on Jim get it together stop producing better track 2 better trucks less recalls don't make me jump Ship !

Elkins ChevroletReviews
Elkins Chevrolet review
Mike B at Elkins Chevrolet is the sole reason for this review. From start to finish, Mike worked closely with me to get a complicated transmission warranty situation resolved. He was consistently communicative, transparent, and straightforward about every step of the process, which made this complex and stressful situation much easier to deal with. He kept me informed, answered my questions, and was GENUINELY invested in getting the situation handled correctly. Due to my experience with Mike, I will not take my truck anywhere else moving forward. Not even back to the dealership where I originally purchased it. Mike earned my trust and respect. I highly recommend asking to work with him if you need service at Elkins Chevrolet.

This truck meets all of our needs! Runs & rides extremely well & is very quiet. Minimal road noise. Plenty of room in the cab. Leg room in the double cab backseat is a little close but not uncomfortable. We bought it to tow our travel trailer & it's perfect! Very, very happy with this beautiful truck!

2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
Bought used. Did some research on it found out problems with AFM. I installed a tuner and did AFM delete and got rid of the top speed limiter, also set other perimeters to high performance, cold air intake, got rid of vacuum pump for braking and went to intake vacuum for booster did tranny thermostat bypass. also changed intake from 5.3 to 6.2 and changed throttle body. Installed catch can for oil blow by. Installed a throttle control booster, change oil every 3000 miles has 125056 miles got rid of all3 cats and has headers and dual straight pipes. sounds great. hptuners got check engine light off. I have street raced this against Camaros mustangs ect and tear them up. tranny has no issues nor do valves. Have buried the Speedo several times max speed was 152mph going by speedo on tuner display. In a truck ride was smooth handles great. I dog the xxxx out of it and it just takes it. I invite others to race. tag says RUN YOU.

CARVENTURE review
The dealership was welcoming and prepared to make a deal for the car we wanted. Following a test drive, we sat down to negotiate and came up with our best deal. The sales staff was friendly and did a nice job of completing our paperwork in a timely way so we could make this a "once and done" event.

Rusty Wallace Chevrolet review
Patrick Marte is very charismatic and easy to talk to. Makes you feel like you're being heard and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and understood. Definitely a "comfortable joy" attitude you want to work with and be around. 10/10.

2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
This truck is exactly what my business needed and being an owner I wanted a truck that could do the work and also have good curb appeal. It can handle all tasks and looks great while doing it! Love the V8 I have the LTZ with the Z71 off road package and it’s just so smooth. With elegant interior design and the Bose sound system is great!! Worth every penny spent!!!

2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
I bought my 2017 brand new with 4,000 mi on it from a dealer. I get a range of about 500 mi. I've had no trouble with it ever since I bought it. I give it regular maintenance and I can't ask for a better truck.

2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
Truck drives and handles great compared to my past Ford. Z71 off road package makes for a stiff ride though. Interior controls well laid out and easy to use. Had the truck for 52k miles and no major problems.
