2012 Chevrolet Camaro review
What a great car to drive. I beat on this 2ss constantly with absolutely no problems ever. As far as Evelyn and the blend door, you never have door issues if you don't drop pens or mascara and stuff down from the dash and jam it up. I haven't had one problem in 100,000 very very hard miles and 4 or 5 sets of tires. Overall an amazing fun car

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2005 Chevrolet Corvette review
The yellow 2005 is my 8th Vette I've owned, and other than a 1966 with 427 / 4 speed convertible (should have never sold) this is my favorite. I have 72k miles, and I enjoy cruising with the top down. The only reason I would consider selling it is to get another 66 or 67 big block. A very reliable, fast car.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
I currently own 11 cars. In addition to my C8, 2 C5 Vettes, 2 Porsches, 3 Miata’s & a few utilitarian cars. I race a Z06 Vette, a Miata & a Porsche. I bought the C8 to track it. Have not yet tracked it. The major options I got are: convertible, Z51 package, front lift, front camera. I love the front lift. Thanks to front lift & front camera so far no scrapes. Picked car up Aug 31, 2022. Have 10,600 miles. Recently drove to Sebring for 12hr Rolex. Put 2700 miles on the drive. Driving 13 hrs at a stretch, car is very comfortable to sit in for 13hrs. Handles beautifully with ample power to accelerate seamlessly to maneuver through highway traffic. I’m in my mid 70’s so getting in/out of this car is not exactly graceful. I’ve had sports cars since my British cars in the 60’s & getting in/out was not graceful back then either. Car is a dream to drive & styling makes it beautiful to look at it. Some people complain about poor visibility & blindspots. My response is there are no blindspots if you set mirrors correctly. Unfortunately, most people do not set mirrors properly. This car’s interior is very tight. It’s a drivers car. There’s no extra interior space. My wife will not ride in this car for any length of time because of the lack of space. She’s accustomed to driving/riding in sports cars. In addition to an SUV & a sedan her other drivers are a Porshe & Miata. Overall it’s a great car.

2023 Chevrolet Camaro review
I originally was looking at Corvette’s but couldn’t find one in stock at a reasonable price and wanted a convertible now. I found my NEW LT1 in Hot Red and I love it. At this point I’m glad I saved my money on the Vette and bought the Camaro. Just reached the 1,500 mile break in point so and I’m ready to find out what this car can do. I’m 71 years old and have had lots of cars including Corvettes’ but this is probably the most fun car I have ever owner.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

Saw a 2017 Grand Sport Collector Edition 5 years ago and had been searching all over Creation for one since. In October last year I finally found a GSCE convertible in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and raced down to grab it. Traded in my 2016 'Laguna Red/ Kalahari top 'vette which I loved ...but like girlfriends - you can't keep them all. My GSCE is absolutely TERRIFIC!

2007 Chevrolet Corvette review
I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

I've owned many high performance cars--BMWs, Jaguars, Mercedes, including previous Corvettes, and driven many others. My 2024 Hard Top Convertible C8 Z51 with 3LT trim outdoes them all... in looks, performance, luxury and reliability. This car is stunning inside and out. The exterior design still looks like a Corvette, but with stunning and cutting edge mid-engine styling. The handling and shifting are sublime and, in fact, the C8's eight speed DCT is the exact same one found in the $260K Maserati MC20 Cielo... even the C8's hard top was designed by the same German company that made the Maserati's top... all the way down to the little adjustable rear window. Finally, let's not forget the LT2 engine that is pure sweetness, proven and reliable. Step inside and you'll find the C8's interior is both functional and ultra luxurious, with advanced styling that goes beyond most sports cars... from the impeccable leather stitching and full aluminum paddles to the amazing looking floating dash and the slim, almost invisible air vents. The glove compartment and console don't need locks because they lock automatically when you get out of the car. Every possible driver need has been considered, from side view mirrors that lower when the car is in reverse so that you can see the curb when parking.... in addition to the mirrors folding inward--either automatically programmed or with the touch or a button that's conveniently located on the armrest. Settle your hands on the not completely round, but curvy, leather laden steering wheel, and you're given a unique treat of design meant to work for optimal human use. Press the heated steering button and the wheel warms up exactly where you place your hands, above or below the spokes. Most sports cars are known for their nefarious blind spots... but with the digital rear view mirror and blind-spot monitoring in the 2024, this issue is all but eliminated and makes this a very safe car on the road. Add in mag ride control, and it's a magic carpet grand tourer that soaks up the road like a large sedan. But the moment you press the Z Mode (there are 4 built-in modes, plus 2 customizable) the aggressive nature of the nearly 500 hp beast jolts alive. With performance traction control, fade free larger Brembos, and the electronic slip differential plus special Z51 gearing, the C8 doesn't merely drive-- it pounces and leaps like an unbridled racing thoroughbred while hugging the corners effortlessly. The interface seamlessly blends both screen and buttons for easy usability. For example, the MC20 Maserati has no button for raising or lowering the hardtop; users must go through the computer screen interface to raise or lower the top. But the C8 has a dedicated button--push it down to open the top; pull it up to bring the top down. Simple. Intuitive. Easy. The C8's entire interface its like that.... there are intuitive buttons for many features-- such as raising and lowering the front lift, windows and climate controls. Speaking of the front fit, the C8's front lift function can remember 1000 locations and is operated with--you guessed it--a single button. Interestingly, the C8 raises the front end 143mm compared to slightly over 50mm for the MC20. Finally, the C8's computer screen interface is blazingly fast and easy to understand and use. It wirelessly hooks you up with Android and Apple Car play the instant you turn on the vehicle. You can change modes in a flash, and the heads up display changes with the models as well. In short, the C8 Z51 is a dream car. You could get other C8 variants, and they will also be amazing. But for daily driving, getting on the track with durability, speed and handling, the C8 Z51 might be the sweet spot. Anyone who owns or drives one is fortunate indeed.

2013 Chevrolet Camaro review
This had been my dream car for years and I still absolutely love everything about it. I’m going to keep it and never get rid of it. It still turns heads and has a large V-8 engine so is extremely fun to drive and has a lot of power. The only drawback is living in Iowa, you need a back up car for the winter. These are no good in 10 inches of snow.

My is machine silver with competition gray wheels 1lt nice car . Only problem I have had and a lot more people have had with the C6 is the automatic automatic shifter gets stuck in park. A recalled that never happened.

2004 Chevrolet Corvette review
My dream car. I purchased my first in 05 and drove it to 120k miles and she was still going strong but had to sell her and get a more client friendly ride. Fast forward to today, I bought my second 04 with less than 10k miles on it. Spent a little money on paint correction and ceramic coating, on bringing the motor back up to speed with new fuel injectors and plugs and wires and she drives like a dream and looks better than off the showroom floor. This is my favorite body style ever and if you're looking for a sporty ride with get up and go along with handling and a classy look that demands attention look no further.

2004 Chevrolet Corvette review
I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

2023 Chevrolet Camaro review
2023 Camaro ZL1. Manual. Downside is that it does not come with remote start, even though manual Hondas do. Would have been great if they provided it as well. Mileage is about 15 mpg average. 20 highway is the max you could get at 75mph. Magnetic suspension is perfect, very comfortable on touring mode, tough on track/sport. Sound system us great, Bose did a great job, I try not to go over half the volume. Stealth mode works super well. Truck space is good enough but the opening is small. Headlights are 8/10. Wish they were LEDs and brighter. HID is more like 2010…

2007 Chevrolet Corvette review
I got my 2007 C-6, in Atomic Orange, in 2020. I found out about it from my sister’s youngest son’s girlfriend, who also was my oldest grandson’s pre-school teacher. Her mom was the executor of her cousin’s estate and had moved the car from her cousin’s home to her farm. Yes, it was actually sitting in a barn with a dead battery and covered in dust and pigeon droppings. The interior looked brand new. This was because after putting a new battery in, I saw that this 13 year old beast had only 6300 miles on it! The owner, who had passed away in 2018, had traded her 1992 C-4 in on the ‘07, drove it a few times and parked it because having double the HP scared her to drive it. Long story short, I saw it, drove it, fell in love with it and got it for a song! Took it home and immediately gave it a bath, using a foam cannon and microfiber mitt of course. Four years later, I’ve put another 7K miles on it and I have no plans of parting with it anytime soon! The only drawback is the interior, which is pretty much the cheapest looking interior styling that resembles an old Chevette. Chevy gave the C-7 a complete overhaul of the interior design in 2014. However, the outside looks great, the handling is superb and the 6.0 LS-2 has gobs of HP and torque. Awesome find after being retired for a couple years and living the dream!

2006 Chevrolet Corvette review
After 63 years of driving, my 2006 C6 Corvette Base Convertible is my favorite car ever. Past sport cars include 3 versions of Mazda Miata, 14 Porsches (including 914/6, 1973 RS Carrera, 1967 911S soft window Targa, 1979 Turbo Carrera, and IMSA 914/6 track car). I dislike the Corvette weight, width in the garage, and lumbering response to the wheel, but the flatness in a turn and the throttle response are amazing. I find it absolutely beautiful to look at, and the auto transmission (6 Spd w/paddle shifters) is the first automatic I have enjoyed in a sport car. This is my first Corvette after all those Porsches, and I am amazed at the refinement and attention to detail in this car. Leather seats are fairly nice, but they are a little overshadowed by excess interior plastic. The black exterior blends with the black interior and leather, and softens the interior starkness somewhat, but the width of the door sill is an unusual inconvenience.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro review
I love my Camaro. I absoltely cannot stand the way the cargo shade has to be completely and properly attached in order for me to drop my convertible top. It is beyond infuriating when you get in the car and push the button to drop the top and a message comes up on your dash panel saying cargo shade must be engaged in order to perform this function. You then have to pop the trunk and go push the cargo shade tabs back down on their installed position. It is an absolutely ridiculous thing to have to do to use your convertible top.whoever designed this and whoever approved this are people id like to meet face to face to physically show them my frustration of having to repititiously stop, open the trunk and push 4 raggedy plastic tabs down to open or close the top. You are screwed if it rains having to do this. I would say 4 our of 5 times i have to do this didnt even touch my trunk to make the tabs slide off the pegs a little. For as much as I paid for my car, i am xxxxxx off at the cheapness of this cargo shade and what happens if it gets lost or destroyed??? I will not be able to open or close the top at all. This design flaw being in a Chevrolet Camaro on the last year it is to be made should be consuming Chevrolet with embarrassment and they should recall the cars and override having the plastic snap tabs have any effect on the functioning of the drop top. Someone really should look into this. It makes no sense why it has to be sttached seeing how there is nothing attached to the cargo shade. It is very cheaply made, the tabs are made to wear out quickly especially if u use them often. To put it simply, Chevrolet Camaro designers and upper level ranking positions are putting out severely below par produxts that are supposed to be a member of chevy's infamous models of automobiles that are no longer in production. I thought Chevy prided itself on the collectable discontinued models. These designers must considee collectors as jokes and that parts and ideas like only allowing the top to drop is if a scrap piece cardboard wrapped in thin carpet with a whole in each corner with a plaatic washer on each side of the hole that has to snap onto a stubby little platic button sized "peg" and not come off. Just shutting your door lightly knocks the shade loose. This is stupidest xxxx ive ever had to do on a vehicle and i get more and more xxxxxx off every single time i have to mess with the xxxxx Cargo.shade to use the parr of the car that was the deciding factor in me buying car in the first place. I wanted a badass camaro. What i got was a cluster migraine xxxxxxx no purpose having cargo shade controlling the most important part of the car as far as making it convertible. I dont know how to request that Chevrolet refund me achunk of my money, all i know is this particular part ruins the entire freedom of having a push button drop top and instead u get issue after issue of stopping and pushing crap tabs down. I am heartbroken because my 2024 Camaro is paid in full and i had a lot of extras done to it before i even picked it up because it was supposed to be a discontinued original sports car in chevrolet production. Now i have a really pretty car with cheap plastic tabs controlling the functioning aspect of the entire convertible parts of my car. It is disgusting. Can the cargo shade be overridden or removed permanently so i can no longer worry about using the main function i wanted of the car i got? Please God someone say yes! Please Chevrolet Productions refund the money needed to make this happen.
