2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Thank you to Kirk, Kevin, J.C. and Country Chevrolet. My wife and I are enjoying this wonderful dream car thanks to the efforts of a great Chevy team.

2025 Chevrolet Corvette review
Have only had for a few weeks, but this car is awesome. Very smooth when you want in touring mode and for more aggressive settings you have sport and track. I mainly drive in touring and its as smooth as any high end sedan. The power is perfectly tuned to the car, plenty fast when needed. Paint quality, interior materials and all together fit is great. Very happy so far.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
Never owned a Corvette before my 2020 C8 2LT. This American sports car is a super car costing 3 & 4 times less than others. My only disappointment is the camera in the interior rear view mirror. Head lights and driving lights flutter in the camera and at night following vehicles appear to be in a fog. It's a smart man's super car.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle review
This car was extremely comfortable and fun to drive. With its big block power I couldn't help but to find myself feathering the pedal and getting thrown back in the seat to scared to give her every thing she was begging for. With a 3spd turbo 400, she glides through the gears just pulsing at every shift point. With sounds of screaming american eagles from the exhaust this car is one I wouldn't pass up if i had the opportunity.

What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. Saw a 2017 Grand Sport Collector Edition 5 years ago and had been searching all over Creation for one since. In October last year I finally found a GSCE convertible in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and raced down to grab it. Traded in my 2016 'Laguna Red/ Kalahari top 'vette which I loved ...but like girlfriends - you can't keep them all. My GSCE is absolutely TERRIFIC!
