2018 Hyundai TUCSON review
Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

2017 Chevrolet Cruze review
We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

2018 FIAT 500X review
The 500x has a sporty suspension and sports car feel. Steering is tight and braking is sensitive. Doesn't hurt to get good has mileage as well.

2015 Chevrolet Equinox review
I bought my Equinox new off the lot in 2015 to be my winter driving car. I’ve had it for 10 years, and have driven it 60 miles round-trip in some of the worst winter weather in the lower 48 states. The Equinox held the road well on ice, in slush, and in deep snow on days that I was on the road before the snow plows. It has always been reliable and has never left me stranded. I’ve had no major issues in over 107,000 miles. I appreciate the cargo space which is much better than the newer models. I regularly recommend Equinoxes to my friends and family.

2016 Kia Sorento review
I can’t say enough good things about this car!I bought it in 2020 with 45k miles and it was used for two and a half years to get me to school in another town 45-70 miles away, and it kept me safe and performed as good as I could ever ask for. The safety features are the cherry on top and saved me multiple times when merging into other lanes. It has all the bells and whistles- under glow lights, led lights in the front row, Bluetooth connection, and so much more. The car is spacious and has allowed me to drive with multiple people In the car comfortably. The back trunk contains so much space even with the third row seats up. The only issue I have ever had with this vehicle is around 100k miles, the gear shift locked. However, this never affected me and this is something that never needs to be fixed if it doesn’t drive you crazy, and the solution of depressing the gear lock to unlock it while you drive is a simple fix. Overall, this car has been very reliable even at over 110k miles and gives a luxury feel in an affordable vehicle. My favorite car. STOP THE KIA SLANDER!!

2020 Ford Edge review
We've owned the 2020 Ford Edge for over 5 years and purchased the car new. Just one recent issue with a sensor for the AWD system during that time. Car drives well with decent power and gets 24-26 mpg in mixed driving and around 30 mpg on the highway. Very comfortable and would consider buying another if they still made them. Only downside is that the car doesn't seem to hold its value that well when compared to the Japanese brands.

2017 Kia Sorento review
I have owned a 2017 Kia Sorento EX 4-cylinder turbo with the Premium package for around seven years now, and have been impressed with the ride, the mileage (up to the high 20's on the highway-fully loaded!), and the durability of the interior. We have used it to snowbird to Fl every year. With the second seat down, the car has great storage capacity, and with the spare tire mounted underneath the car, and no third row seat, there is additional secure storage under the cargo mat. We bought the car used with around 24,000 miles with an extended warranty (up to 100,000 miles), and besides the routine brake and tire renewals, have had few issues, besides a transaxle that leaked and was replaced under the extended warranty. Kia has had issues with the 4-cylinder turbo engine (as had other car brands)! and, as a result, a few years ago extended the powertrain warranty for the engine from 100,000 to 150,000 miles. On the way back from FL. in May we noticed a loss in power, pulled off the highway near Columbia, SC and had the car towed to a Kia dealership on that Saturday evening. The short version here is that after renting a car and returning to NJ, we initiated discussions with the SC dealer to qualify our car for the 150k warranty, which after a week or two were successful. The engine was repaired and a new turbocharger, starter motor, and intake cylinder were also installed at no additional cost to us. We decided to have the car delivered back to NJ. The message here is that if you decide to purchase a used Kia with a 4-cylinder turbo engine, be sure to have the engine thoroughly evaluated, particularly if you are considering a vehicle with 100,000 miles or more. We still own the 2017 Kia Sorento, and have it listed for 13,750 dollars on the Cars.com site. Given the engine improvements, it should provide many more miles to the new owner.

2009 Pontiac Solstice review
My 2009 GXP is a delight. Goes like stink, handles like a cat on carpet, stops like glue and (if I keep my toes out of the fan) averages 32 mpg. Bought new in Denver, I now have over 146K miles on it. Replaced cracked turbo at 124K. With top down, my luggage is a shaving kit. Installed Hidden Hitch for Tag-Along trailer to carry a spare on road trips. Towing trailer at 85, mileage drops to 28. Keeping it till I expire.

2016 Jeep Cherokee review
Was at dealership shopping and this new Jeep Cherokee Lattitude came in on transport. Wanted it the minute I saw it. Jeep dealership had ordered it custom with every option I wanted. Blackout package, V6 a true dual exhaust, sport, power everthing, 4x4 etc. The 4x4 is excellent and never failed me! Its been flawless, aftermarket tuning has turned it into a screaming black speed machine. 112,000 miles so far. No issues with anything! Would buy another if they still made this Cherokee Latitude Special! One very satisfied customer!!!

2013 Ford Explorer review
10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

2017 Volkswagen Golf review
I have a 130k on mine and it runs better than a Swiss watch. No major issues, ever! comfortable, fast and easy on fuel. It has everything that I need and nothing that I do not. Clearly the high point of the Golf's evolution. I am dreading finding a replacement as nothing on the market today comes close to being such a complete car.

2012 Buick LaCrosse review
I bought my 2012 used few years ago and totally love the car. Very comfortable quiet and smooth with great fuel mileage for a pretty powerful V-6 Engine. Have most all the maintenance records and it's been very well maintained. Plan on getting transmission serviced soon as it's got 82K on it and don't see transmission serviced yet. Transmission still shifts very well but want to keep it serviced well.
