While getting groceries out of my car, My trunk came down on my head (C-300, 2017). Sometimes trunk opens after I lock the car. This is dangerous. What is the problem?

I rarely write reviews and for the very few times I have done so in my life time, it was always to point out a bad service. HOWEVER. I had exceptional experience purchasing my E400 Coupe with Steven David from Benzel Busch. Since getting my first license back when I was 16, I bought and sold 10 different cars and Steven by far exceeded any of the sales person I have worked in the past. He was very responsive to all of my emails and phone calls. I almost got a reply back within 5 minutes from sending an email and we had many emails back and forth as I was purchasing a vehicle out of state. As a proud customer of BAS, I am extremely delighted to disclose my positive experience to all customers who appreciate quality service. It has been about 4 years since I purchased my luxury SUV from them and everytime I go there for service, the job is always done effectively for a marginal fee. Recently, my truck couldn't move forward and backward and I had it towed to them. To my big surprise, I had it back yesterday (11/20/19). While I was expecting a monster bill, to my big surprise, the invoice was zero. When I asked why, the answer was: " What was done, only required a nominal charge", and as a customer, that charge was fully discounted. In my opinion, any other place would have charged at least $2,000.00. Thus, with that experience, coupled with many others, I am proud to recommend BAS to anyone who's purchasing or servicing a motor vehicle. I have only owned this vehicle for about seven months so far, but it is SO much fun to drive with the top down. The interior is a fun layout with buttons located in easy reach, and it's just a blast. I'm a large man - 6'1" and 275, and I still fit very nicely in it. Great leg room, surprisingly large trunk, and just fun! The only drawback I can see to this car is the visibility with the top up is awful. That said, the car is designed to be driven with the top down, so that makes sense!

A man I know once looked at it, turned to me and said, " you cannot buy a more beautiful automobile than this for less than a 100.000.00 dollars," and he was right. While there is much controversy around the design, the truth is this car turns heads. It looks like it's going fast even when its sitting still. This is despite being ten years old and ostensibly an old design. And, when it is going fast, Wow! The power is effortless and comes on quickly, but with the sport suspension and the rack and pinion steering, you feel confident and in control. You have to remember though, this is a sports car that requires the driver to pay attention. There are cup holders, but you need both hands to handle this beast; I suggest waiting until a pit stop to sip on that soda. And why not? have your drink and burger in the family sedan; the pleasure derived from this car has nothing to do with the flavor of food. Its the flavor of life. The seats are firm, but they hold you securely in place when you are taking that curve at speed, and if you just have to have some luxury, they are heated. The S54 engine is the last naturally aspirated BMW power plant, makes 330 hp, and is darn near bullet proof. M cars do benefit from a little more maintenance , but the overall reliability is so good that it need not be deal killer. It is recommended that the valves be adjusted every 30,000 miles, but other than that, monitor the Vanos system, keep the oil changed, and regularly inspect the usual things like brake pads, filters, and coolant. Also check to see that the drain holes for the convertible top are clean and clear. This keeps the motor that raises and lowers it from burning out. Comfort for large individuals can be an issue, but for the average sized among us, there is plenty of room. The convertible goes up and down in about 7 seconds, and the wipers, defroster/heater, and air conditioning rivals that of American cars. Another potential issue is a lack of trunk space. There isn't much in a regular Z4, but due to design considerations, the M cuts even more room because the battery is located there as well. Finally, remember, these cars do not have spare tires, and unlike the regular Z's they do not have run flat tires. There are currently no run flat tires that can handle the performance of the M, so sitting on top of the battery is what BMW calls a "mobility kit." Essentially, it is a portable air compressor and a can of fix a flat. I know from experience that the compressor will inflate the tire quickly, but try not to use the fix a flat unless it is absolutely essential. Tire stores hate the stuff. The bottom line for these cars is that they love to be driven, and if you are looking for non-turbo charged performance with a touch of the elegance of old style British roadsters, this is the car for you.

Bought this car new in 04.. still drives and feels brand new. It only has 42k but can't tell the difference on how it drove 20 years ago to how it drives today. Still love it the same as I when I bought it. I definitely recommend it.

We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

This car was not in the best shape at first but I changed all that for myself. I updated the things that it needed to extend its life. And now I'm sad to let it go. Only because I have some important things I need to take care of. But, I will get another one for sure in the near future. For now I have to say goodbye to a good well friend.

I own a newer 2014 Aston Martin DB9 Volante and can say they are absolutely awesome cars, and this is coming from someone who has owned Lamborghini, Corvettes, Dodge Viper, Mustangs, Camaro's etc... Such a beautiful car and they are in a league of their own. They certainly stand out in a crowd and unlike Corvettes and Ferraris, you will be a loner at Cars N Coffee because they are not so common.

After considering a change from the Cali T to the 488, I did it. Got a ‘17 488 Spider w 5k miles. Best move I’ve ever done. The 488 is a drivable super car that’s art work in motion. It has a great ride and unbelievable performance. It’s what Enzo would want for a drivable super car. Lastly, it is a stunner and people I never thought have asked for pictures with it. I give it a 10+

For a V6 this gets amazing highway gas mileage. I’ve driven from Northern California to Long Beach on a single tank. Has some power too, enough to have some fun with. I really enjoyed my CLK.
