Auto Boom LLCReviews
Auto Boom LLC review
I purchased a C8 convertible about 1 1/2 years ago from Autoboom. They were clear about price and doc fee. I purchased a 3-year warranty which I never do, but the price was right and I've used it 2x for small issues and every mechanic accepted the warranty. I would purchase from this dealership again and likely will.

Best car I have ever driven by far. Comfortable and the sound is amazing. The look of this car inside and out is outstanding. I constantly have a smile on my face when I’m driving my LC convertible.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
Never owned a Corvette before my 2020 C8 2LT. This American sports car is a super car costing 3 & 4 times less than others. My only disappointment is the camera in the interior rear view mirror. Head lights and driving lights flutter in the camera and at night following vehicles appear to be in a fog. It's a smart man's super car.

2023 Chevrolet Camaro review
2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible It doesn't get any better than this in a Camaro. Absolute cream of the crop car. ZL1 comes with évery creature comfort you'll ever desire other then it driving itself & that would take all the fun away. Complete comfort, endless source of power & everything that brings happiness to your eyes 👀. I paid $80000.⁰⁰ & have zero regrets, best & happiest investment I made, cause I'll have this for the next twenty plus years.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro review
I’ve always been a huge fan of Camaros. I had been in the market for a couple of years, lo and behold this Camaro became available. From the moment that I saw its sleek style to the first time I sat in the drivers seat that just seems to wrap around me up to when I fired it up and felt the horses run on this powerful V6 engine, I fell in love. This car fits me well. The throttle response is unbelievable. Steering is nothing short of effortless. The exhaust tone gives me a reason to turn off the stereo. As the the commercial from the 70’s says… Try it, you’ll like it!

I contacted Lindsay and ask him to find me the truck I needed is very professional. He found it within a few minutes as he always has for me. I have bought over 90 trucks from Chevy dealer Murdock Chevrolet in the Past 30 years and have been treated professionally always if there was ever a problem they have stepped up to fix it or help me in the solution and I bought this truck. Lindsay did all he could to fulfill what I needed in the truck and get it quickly with what I consider a fair trade of my existing vehicle, which I also bought from Murdock thank you Lindsay your five star in my!

Shout out to Jordan Mendoza and Mercedes-Benz of Farmington. Jordan was amazing to work with and worked so hard to make my experience with this dealership a "10" in every way. Jordan handled every detail and was prompt and courteous as he helped me. This dealership has set a new standard in dealing with customers. From the "no doc fee" to finishing all paperwork and being out the door very quickly this is the way to buy a car! They utilize technology and bent over backwards to make the whole experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend Jordan and this dealership to anyone. Thanks for a great experience and dealing with me in a fair no pressure way! Doug Johnson

2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
December 2024 bought a 2023 Mazda Miata Grand Touring with 34,500 miles. Drove the car from South Florida to the SC coast, 10 hours. Fantastic fun drive! 6 speed manual with a soft top only weighs 2350 pounds, spirited ride, excellent power and fuel economy, 35 mpg. Good tech with blind spot monitors, cruise, power windows and locks. Push button start, heated seats and navigation just enough tech. Puts a smile on your face just looking at it, lots of compliments and you are just happy driving this magnificent, magical machine!! Just love it! 🥰

Porsche Salt Lake City review
Gavin Pierce (GM), Tommy Justice (GSM), Eddie Stone (Sales), and Matt French (Finance Director) are all world class professionals. From the first day I walked into the dealership, they took me seriously. They took the time to get to know me and understand my deep passion for Porsche. Not long after, Eddie called me with an opportunity to join the Porsche Salt Lake City family. The ensuing purchase experience proved that they are who they said they are. They are focused on one thing, delighting their customers. Eddie could not have been better. He is super knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, he explains everything in detail, and he follows through on his word. It is clear that he genuinely cares about his customers. In short, he is a consummate professional! I can say the same for Matt French. He was highly professional and personable, he answered all of my questions, and he made everything seamless. Eddie and Matt are a dream team. It may sound cheesy, but the truth is they truly made me feel like I was buying more than just a Porsche, they made me feel like I was making new friends and joining the Porsche Salt Lake City family. Needless to say, I'm super grateful for the warm welcome that I received from Gavin and his team and I look forward to making many more amazing memories with them in the future!
