2018 Ford Mustang review
While shopping for another daily driver, the decision to get more than an "average" car was paramount. I shopped for unsold inventory, believing I would find a better purchase price. That was an understatement. I was able to locate a new, unsold Roush Stage 2 for an unbeatable retail price. The car has a manual transmission, the Roush upgrades to help it "punch above its weight" for acceleration and cornering. A pleasure to drive, and it gets a few "looks" when driving around town.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a sharp, tech-forward sports car that delivers genuine performance, upscale daily comfort, and a brilliant platform for subtle, high-quality upgrades, the EcoBoost Premium Convertible is tough to beat.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
Surprisingly an excellent value for sports car. Bought mine used and quality is still intact. The reliability has proven to be very good. A fun DIY car that is easy to work on. Parts are priced reasonably well and readily available. The Mercedes roadability is the true fun factor. Dear Bickford Ford, My wife and I have purchased 8 dealer sold cars over the past 45 years without a lot of love for the process or sales folks. Our latest car purchase of a 2025 Bronco Sport from Bickford Ford however was an exceptional experience all around. We had not planned to purchase a car but were in the neighborhood and simply stopped to see a Bronco Sport up close. We ran into Mike Mauer as he was heading out the sales office door. He asked if he could help us in a non-sales polite manner. We said we were interested in learning more about the Bronco Sport but were just looking. Mike was very accommodating with no sales hype or pressure. He is very genuine and knowledgeable. Based on our experience that day we went ahead over the following week settling on the trim package we wanted as Mike tracked down several options. Communication was excellent through e:mail, phone calls, and texts. We are from Chelan and had business in the area over two separate weekends. Mike found the specification we wanted in the Puget Sound area and even picked up the car himself when we returned the following Monday. The entire process was well prepared and faster than we had ever experienced – no “let me talk to my manager” back and forth. We traded in two vehicles as we were downsizing to one car. Mike under-promised and over-delivered in accommodating our selection and taking in our trades. Again, no sales hype. Just a great guy with integrity, sincere communication, and great follow-through skills. We were also impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the facility as well as the efficiency of the accounting and finance team. People seemed happy to be working there. Thank you, Mike Mauer and team for a great car buying experience! By the way: The Bronco Sport Sasquatch edition is an outstanding vehicle to drive.

2025 Porsche 911 review
My 2025 911 GTS T Hybrid with 4-wheel drive was one of the first delivered to the U:S. The car is surprisingly fast, and it is virtually impossible to tell it is a hybrid. Acceleration is very linear and the handling is on a par with its power. Instrument layout is far superior to the 992.1 models, and the digital tachometer, which I was concerned about, is actually very acceptable.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I bought a Mustang GT because I was dissatisfied with my 2020 Corvette's ride and ergonomics. Also, because neither Chevrolet nor Dodge had an answer to the Mustang. The GT has great features with its touch screens, intuitive HVAC controls and other vehicle control features, The interior is comfortable. It could use power tilt-tele steering wheel. There's plenty of gauge clusters, and color schemes to keep you busy. Same for Drive modes. Braking is very good, especially the optional Brembo's. The sound system in top B&O guise is the minimal you'd expect. It doesn't measure up to Mopar. Power is good, but low end torque could be better. The exterior styling would be second to Camaro if there were one, but it keeps improving. Opt for the 20inch wheels for looks and handling. Choose the right paint, and get the 6 speed if you like manual gears. Ford, increase fuel tank size from 16 to 18.

2019 Chevrolet Camaro review
2019 Camaro SS 1LE M6 is the best bang for the buck so far in my short time owning it. For being considered a "heavy" car, it is incredibly nimble and racy. Smooth when desired. (Notice I flipped those driving preferences!!!) Not a ton of space inside but the car is not meant to be a family daily driver. Although at first the car felt hard to see out of it, really is not that bad at all when you get used to the sight lines. Great fun!

2001 Honda S2000 review
Drive this car if you are a driving enthusiast. Drive this car if you are a performance purist. The S was built for a single purpose: The sheer joy of spirited, performance driving. One can only drive it to understand truly all that's been written about this machine. It's all true. Two things I know for certain about the S: The car has limits that I am simply not good enough to reach. Secondly, I've parted with a whole lot of cars, but this one stays with me forever. I initially thought "my number" was $30K - I'd sell for $30K. Not anymore. I wouldn't part with my 2001 Indy/Spa Yellow S with 21,672 miles for any amount of money, ever. I love to drive and am pretty good at it and this is a driver's car if there ever was one to hold that title. Again, drive an S and you'll know. BUT, before you drive one, make sure you know how you will pay for it...as you will want to buy one. This is a race car when in the hands of someone who knows how to push a car like this. It is NOT for the novice driver. Take your mind off what you are doing and what you are driving and things can go sideways in a flash, yet this is exactly what makes this such a phenomenal performance machine. And know this: at 6,000 RPM, the car becomes a wide open thrill. Just be ready and if you are, the pure enjoyment is simply unmatched. All Hail the S...
