Too many places baited me with low online prices, only to pile on thousands in hidden fees once I showed up—things like mandatory down payments, wear-and-tear charges, inspection fees, and dealership add-ons. But from this experience, I learned a lot about how dealerships really work and gained some valuable knowledge: never fully trust the prices posted online without confirming the true out-the-door cost in person. After five frustrating in-person visits, I was ready to give up on traditional dealerships and just overpay at CarMax to avoid the headaches. That’s when I spotted a listing on Cars.com from Island Subaru. The vehicle photos clearly stated “No hidden fees, no extra fees – fully transparent OTD price.” Skeptical after so many bad experiences, I decided to try one last time and walked in without an appointment or even a phone call. Right away, I met sales representative Christopher Chavous (everyone calls him Chris). He was patient, professional, and didn’t bombard me with unnecessary questions or personal info. He showed me the Crosstrek I was interested in, sat with me for two detailed test drives, and explained all the features thoroughly. The standout moment? Chris gave me the true out-the-door price immediately—no games, no surprises, exactly matching the online listing with zero hidden fees. In an industry full of tricks, this level of honesty instantly built trust, which is everything when buying a car. After some fair negotiation, the manager approved a solid discount, and we sealed the deal that same day. Since it was Saturday and close to closing (they couldn’t finish the NY inspection), they went the extra mile and loaned me a brand-new Subaru Crosstrek to drive until Monday when my car was ready. Finance manager Yuri Miyakawa handled the paperwork smoothly, got me a great rate, and made everything straightforward. But Chris truly went above and beyond—he guided me through the entire purchase process and even helped set up my first car insurance. I have to say, this is my 4th stop within 3 days before I pull the trigger on the 2020 BMW X5 at Import Masters. I was surprised how I was treated considering I was way underdressed for the occasion. Most sales people would think WHAT THE xxxx IS HE DOING HERE LOOKING AT BMW X5. Edwin was very nice and made sure I was taken care of properly. All the staff are very friendly, even the little guys who are cleaning and waxing cars. They gave me all the information I need it on how to take care of the car. I highly recommend the place and make sure you don’t forget to check out and cruise around the neighborhood. You won’t regret it. xxxx a lot better than some other places I have been to. I advise you to make an appointment before coming in so they can bring it to the showroom. They have so many cars that almost stack on top of each other.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

2018 Audi S5 review
Love the car only had a coolant pump issue but ever since it's been smooth sailing. The car is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable with beautifully designed interiors. I've drive both the Mercedes c43 Amg and the bmw 340i which I think are this car's competition and I'd still have this as my overall pic.

2017 BMW 430 review
I purchased my 2017 in 2020. It’s Upgraded wheel package really does wonders for its look/stance. Not a single problem after 3 years and no records of any previous problems. Looks, drives and feels brand new. Everyone loves it. It handle’s fantastic, very smooth ride and nothing but basic maintenance (I’m a little OCD on vehicle maintenance anyway, it pays off). I don’t drive it like a 16 yr old might. I take care of it. I don’t drive it hard. The worst of these that I’ve seen are from owners that rag them out. A good inspection, up on a lift, exposes a lot. You treat it well, it will do the same for you. Before buying I did my homework with Carfax info, maintenance history, previous vehicle location, called prior servicing dealership listed on Carfax and it’s surprising what they can tell you about a car they maintained, dealership gains nothing by misguiding me bc it wasn’t being sold by them. They just confirmed the facts from their service records which was even more than Carfax had actually. Also found a BMW mechanic that I paid $100 to check it out, front to back, before buying it and he had nothing but good to say about it. He did said “I’d grab this one”. I don’t know if I will ever be able to let it go. Did have a BMW recall, went to dealership and out in 1 hour, n/c and they also did a complimentary full check up. They didn’t find anything wrong and asked if I wanted to sell it. That was a big NO. I have neighbors keeping an eye on it, waiting to hear that I’m trading it in so they can buy it. Love it.

2018 Audi A5 review
2021 a5 PREM Plus; B&O 7th audi I've owned & they just keep getting better. Not a fan of the tap every time screen I want to do something feature which is fairly new. This one could be a keeper! The stereo is very high quality & handling rocks, quick & nimble. Sport suspension is a personal choice, always order it. Stiffer but smooth. Car is quite. Sport seats heated, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel. Need I say more?
