2005 Dodge Viper review
This is the forth Viper roadster I've owned ('1994, 2000, 2003, 2005) and no complaints about any of them. I love the "wow" comments I get when people see the Viper. Corvettes, although great cars also, are a common site everywhere you go. Not true with the Viper. I also love the rear wide track and bodacious rear tires. There may be more comfortable and higher H.P. sports cars, but none as good looking, worry free, cheaper to maintain/repair or fun to drive. I believe the Viper gives you the most bang for your buck.

2005 Dodge Viper review

2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT review
I have had weekend cars for some years now. Started with BMW M3 (E46 competition package), moved to Porsche 911 turbo (997.1 with 6-sp), then 2015 Nissan GTR (I truly enjoyed that car) and I am on the 2018 MB AMG GTR now. I drive them only during late Spring, Summer and store them from October to April. I keep them for 2-4 summers, then move on. MB AMG GTR is the next level. It is starting to encroach into exotic car territory. Lots of attention. It is a race focused machine and by far the most uncomfortable sport car I have owned so far. But that is a good thing. Engine is at the moment one of the best in the business. Sounds awesome. It is a tricky car to drive fast so one has to be a bit more careful when compared to Nissan GTR/Porsche 911 turbo or even Porsche 911 GT3. I had a rear light failure within the first 4k miles. Fixed under warranty. Entertainment system is a bit old. In general I would say this car is worth the money.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a sharp, tech-forward sports car that delivers genuine performance, upscale daily comfort, and a brilliant platform for subtle, high-quality upgrades, the EcoBoost Premium Convertible is tough to beat.

2018 Ferrari 488 Spider review
After considering a change from the Cali T to the 488, I did it. Got a ‘17 488 Spider w 5k miles. Best move I’ve ever done. The 488 is a drivable super car that’s art work in motion. My 19 year old and his fiance just had my first grandson. They currently only have one car which was the the Saturn Ion I gave him that he "like his first Avenger" he clapped out and broke. I saw it and realized his fiance needed a car he can't touch lol. Enter bank of dad. I needed a car that will be a safe point A to point B for a fair price and this dealer had cars right where I was looking. I went there, explained my situation and asked what would be the best option. I got suggested a Malibu that after checking out told its own story that matched what I was explained. I drove it and while I'm at best a YOUTUBE certified mechanic, I'm a network engineer by trade and pretty handy. Shifted great, engine ran strong, and AC blew cold. This was a car that could easily be double sale price if they spent the money and labor in some body parts to make it "pretty" and a few hours of detailing. My son can fix stuff and have tons of detailing stuff for him to clean it. To anyone leaving bad reviews at a place like this, I can guess you probably just got unlucky. These places have to GET cars for less than what they are selling them for to make money. Obviously said person didn't find a car themselves for "x" price so they went to a dealer. The experience I had was that they were super up front and honest about what they're selling. At no point did I get the "if you just spent this much you'll get this or if this car is the most reliable car on earth, expect 1000000 miles etc". These are low cost, as is running and driving cars for a super fair price. I feel like I got one xxxx of a deal and now have the peace of mind knowing my grandson is in a safer car.
2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
Never owned a Corvette before my 2020 C8 2LT. This American sports car is a super car costing 3 & 4 times less than others. My only disappointment is the camera in the interior rear view mirror. Head lights and driving lights flutter in the camera and at night following vehicles appear to be in a fog. It's a smart man's super car.

2026 Ford Mustang review
I recently purchased a used 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and Love it. The mustang has really improved over the years in style, comfort and performance! The Color is Blue Ember and is a really beautiful color. The flakes in the paint really stand out in the sun. The Coyote Engine gives superb performance and really sounds Great! 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class review
My 2014 SL550 has been absolutely trouble free. It's actually one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned. I live in Denver and frequently travel to Winter Park which involves a twisty mountain pass that crosses the Continental Divide. During summer months, I'll drive this car and the handling capabilities of the car allow it to shine. It's extremely agile and corners like a 911, with similar power (insane power to weight ratio from the twin-turbo V8, with all aluminum frame and body construction). Let's just say I like to drive in a spirited manner, and demand a lot from a car's power and handling. This car's capabilities are vastly unknown by the general public. To put it in perspective, no stock Mustang, Camaro, Charger, or Tesla has ever beaten me off the light in this car, and they sure try. I'm convinced every Tesla owner seems to just think their car is faster than ANY other car out there, and it's most definitely not. I frequently have Tesla drivers want to race me from a light in this car. The juvenile in me comes out and smokes them every time. The styling of this car might be controversial to some, but wherever you go or park, I've never had a car where so many people get giddy with excitement over how great they think it looks. Be ready for that...lol

2013 Porsche Boxster review
Not a daily driver. But, by far the most fun car I’ve ever owned. Bought a 2013 S MT in 2015, still can’t part with it in 2024. This one’s a keeper. It is a pure joy to drive, mostly top down but even top up, the flat 6 boxer engine sound is incredible. Handling is superb - it’s like the car is an extension of the person driving it…the car goes where ever you want it to go effortlessly and nimbly…it’s amazing! The 981s MT is an incredible value. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

2018 Buick Cascada review
My wife and I have been looking for a midsize midrange convertible for years and after seeing a Cascada in a parking lot knew this was the car we wanted. It has all the bells and whistles you’d find in a BMW, Mercedes or Audi at a fraction of the cost to purchase and maintain. Although they’ve been discontinued as of 2019 now is the perfect time to find a newer used car with low miles for half the sticker price. The only drawbacks are the MPG isn’t optimal and you can’t link your iPhone to the display screen, but the pros (beautiful car, tons of standard features, handles great, decent back seat / trunk space) far outweigh those two potential cons.

2007 Jaguar XK review
I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

I recently purchased a BMW M850i Convertible coming off a three-year lease, with a portion of the 4-year/36,000-mile factory warranty still intact. An incredible high-end luxury performance car that I couldn't afford new. I transitioned to this vehicle from a C7 Corvette Z51 Convertible, which, despite its excellent performance, had become too uncomfortable for my wife and I on extended road trips. Seeking a vehicle that retained the high-performance spirit of the Corvette while offering superior ride quality, I selected the M850i.The BMW has surpassed expectations in nearly every category critical to my wife and me. It delivers significantly reduced cabin wind noise during top-down driving, exceptional comfort, impressive acceleration (clocking 3.1 to 3.7 seconds), and outstanding stability courtesy of the xDrive AWD system and four-wheel steering. Additionally, the exhaust note, premium audio system, and highly responsive infotainment center make for an exceptional driving experience.
