2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I bought a 2024 Rally which is the highest trim in a Mach E . It is very fast and fun smooth on the highway and can be driven on a dirt track as well as used as an every day vehicle. My only complaint is the range could be a little better and charging should be faster because the vehicle is already in its 4th year of production other than that as a long time EV owner I love the car after a month of ownership.

2026 Toyota bZ review
Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

Just had the car for a month. It's much like its predecessor, the bz4x but gets better range, at 90% from 230 to 275. It rides smoothly and a bit less noisy than the 4x. I'm very happy with it.

2023 Audi Q4 e-tron review
I recently leased a 2024 Quattro premium plus 55. I have not had the severe issues others mention in reviews, but agree that the electronics and software are sometimes frustrating. It drives nicely for an SUV (I prefer driving small cars). I don’t like the behavior of the brakes. You have to really step on them for the final 5 mph to complete stop — they are not linear. I know VW knows how to do brakes in an EV, because the e-Golf is fantastic. Also annoying are the steering wheel buttons — again, big downgrade from the e-Golf. Overall, happy with the great lease deal I got.

I brought my car in because the transmission was slipping and had a bad shudder. Since I have an extended warranty, I was very nervous about how everything would be handled. Chris was exceptional throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way, communicated clearly, and reassured me that he would do everything possible to work with the extended warranty and get the work completed. He also provided me with a loaner vehicle the day I dropped off my car and let me keep it until my vehicle was ready for pickup. That was a huge help, allowing me to get my two kids to daycare and myself to work without interruption. Giovanni was equally welcoming and professional during both drop-off and pickup (along with everyone at the service desks). He gave me confidence by assuring me that my car was in the hands of skilled technicians and would be running like new again. In addition to replacing the transmission, the team also diagnosed and replaced the purge valve to resolve my check engine light. A special thank you to the transmission technician for the incredible work and dedication. The transmission was installed the very same day it arrived, which speaks volumes about the team's commitment to providing prompt, high-quality service. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and workmanship from everyone involved. I have been bringing my Chevy Impala here for years because I trust them. My first visit was a couple of years ago when my local Chevy dealership wanted to charge me around $700 for a repair. I had a feeling the work should still be covered under warranty, so I made the 25 minute drive to Raymond Chevrolet in Antioch. They inspected my car and confirmed that the repair was fully covered under warranty. From that moment on, I became a loyal customer. They have continued to earn my trust with every visit. I even brought my son's Kia in because one of the tires was making a strange noise. They took it for a test drive, checked everything over, and honestly told us they could not find anything wrong. Best of all, they did not charge us. What I appreciate most is their honesty and transparency. I never feel like I am being overcharged or pressured into unnecessary repairs. They only recommend work when my vehicle truly needs it. It is difficult to find a service department you can genuinely trust, one that charges fairly and does the job right. Everyone is always friendly and helpful, from the service department to the sales team when I stop in to drop off my car. 2019 Hyundai KONA EV review
We've had our 2019 Kona Electric Ultimate for almost 5 years. She's been a great car. Super easy to maintain -- tires, windshield wiper blades and fluid, cabin filters. The 12v battery needs to be replaced a bit. Otherwise, no complaints. She's fun to drive, easy to care for, low maintenance costs. Really good car!!

2026 Subaru Solterra review
First EV. LOTS to learn. Lots and lots of settings & configuration stuff. Most defaults OK. Not sure if bought a car that has a Tablet or a very expensive Tablet that has wheels. Couple of things that stuck out: NO Glove Box. (bad) / No Spare Tire (bad). / No Jack + No Lug Wrench (really Bad) for OFF Road AWD capable? That's irresponsible ! And when buying a separate Solterra 'Jack Kit' from dealer, the Lug Wrench won't fit the Lug nuts. Need 21mm wrench. Kit came for 19mm wheel nuts. That's totally irresponsible !! Plus there are special almost hidden lift points under each side designated as lift points. Any other spots will Damage something! Road service? Where? in Boonies with GPS coordinates? (not gonna happen!) And even though has NACS Tesla type charger nozzle, absolutely can NOT charge at Tesla fast chargers. (Tesla charger cables too short + Subaru software won't connect.) So have to use charger that came with Solterra and endure Level 1 charge times, or install Level 2 charger at home, or go to Level 2 or DC chargers in your area. Actually, there's several in our area so not so bad, BUT about a road trip; that's something else. (it's a challenge). Remember: NO TESLA chargers! period! Range at 90% charge made under 200 miles round trip. Normal charge is 80% max. So will have to try that next time. Still significant uncertainty. For 2026, this is supposed to be an improvement from prior years. Now about the vehicle itself; pretty good. In fact: it's made by Toyota as a joint venture in Japan. So confidence level is pretty good that as far as an EV is concerned, they know what they're doing. Very quiet and pretty smooth ride. Has 3 power options and all three this thing can Launch and go fast. And since it's AWD, amazing traction on dirt and gravel. 30 degree up hill on gravel, stop, and go = no wheel spin. Same when descending and no spin when backing up. Most excellent! I find the telescoping steering wheel short. Needs additional pull out capability. Tilt OK. Driving with Boots is a problem. Driver leg room between pedal and brake too close and offset to the right, Makes driver foot positions cramped and a bit awkward. Pretty tight for 240 pound, 5'-10" man. Plenty of head room as this Premier model doesn't have Sun roof. (NOT good in Arizona). Climate control works good for both driver and passenger. This came with power driver's seat and manual passenger. (OK for us) Yet even with power driver's seat, have a bit difficulty getting in and out as have to duck head considerably and once in vehicle, seems to sit pretty low. This model does NOT remember driver 1 & driver 2 positions. Also, does not have tilting rear view mirror. (Again bad - bad - bad) . Have to grab whole mirror and push up or down to accommodate the driver. Glad the vehicle was furnished with Owners Manual. There's 3. Lots & Lots to read. Dealer was nice, polite and tries to help, but sales folks don't know as they don't own one. Your 80% on your own to learn and figure stuff and buttons and symbols on EV screen on your own. Would I buy again ? Not sure. Not bummed with purchase, just still very unsure about things even after 1 month ownership. Just feel uncertain driving with all that goes on and displays. Some helpful / some distracting. In fact most of the time have screen display turned OFF so can pay attention to road and vehicle responses. Ask me again a year from now.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
I love everything about this car. Firstly, it looks so great! I have the 2024 RS in red with red/black interior - a real head turner. I think it's much better looking than it's Cadillac cousins (Lyriq and Optiq). It is usually the best looking car in the lot. And I've had no issues with reliability, despite the initial stop-sale when it launched. It's incredibly comfortable and REALLY fun to drive. Do I miss Android Auto? No -- Google built-in is fine, although I agree that some customer choice would be nice. (GM just wants to sell subscriptions). The range and charging speed are good for me, but I only charge at home. The only downside is that it's a bit large for my lifestyle, living in a dense city. My next car will need to be a compact. But if you need a big back seat space, this is the car for you.

2027 Chevrolet Bolt review
Great car for the money, it is my 3rd bolt and this one is the best I’ve had, although I didn’t have any problems with the other ones this one drives and rides better. It could use more sound deadening because there is a lot of road noise, other than that it’s a great car. I have the RS and I love it, I can’t understand why GM is going to quit making it!
