I just completed the long distance purchase of a 981 Cayman with Porsche of Jackson. I worked with Trace in Sales and Jill in Finance. Phenomenal experience, I couldn't have asked for better. What made this purchase complicated is that the car was in Jackson, MS; my house is in FL; and I am currently on deployment with the US Army. Trace was a great salesman and a man of his word. He let me explain what I was looking for and provided plenty of information. I had been looking for a Cayman for almost two years. Just looking for the right options in a color I loved was a challenge. Jill went above and beyond in my opinion to make sure this deal happened. The dealership needed the original signed paperwork, not scanned copies. Jill worked with me to get the paperwork to my deployment location as quick as militarily possible and get it back to the dealership. Once it made it back, we had some issues with getting a delivery set up at my house in FL due to schedule conflicts, but that got worked out. Jill stayed on both the transport company and me to make sure we got the car there in a timely manner. If I were in that area, I would certainly go to Porsche of Jackson for service as well. My local Porsche service department has a high bar to reach, but I'm betting they will be able to handle the tasks.

2024 Ford Expedition Max review

I don’t like doing reviews but every time I have a service done at gray Daniels Nissan north I always get a request to do one. I was out running errands and taking my furbaby to the vet early Saturday morning November 19th. I had already had a notification on my dashboard for a couple days for low tire pressure and decided to stop by gas station to air up. I did good with 3 tires but the fourth tire i ended up bending the stem valve. A nice lady helped me put a spare on and I rushed to nissan dealership, fortunately it was open and about an hour or little longer they fixed it. I was so relieved. Had to go pickup my furbaby.
2021 Toyota RAV4 review
I purchased a 2021 RAV4 LE used in 2024 from Eco Park. Every time I take it to the dealership they offer to buy it from me. They stated " that this vehicle is in high demand." My personal opinion is as follows: Pros: High resale value when well maintained. Toyota's reliability. It has adequate cargo space. The exterior is attractive. Cons: The front seats are not very comfortable. It has no fog lights. It displays"maintenance required" then "take to dealership"sometimes prematurely, when an oil change is required.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
I purchased this Jeep brand new in 2012 as a 2013 Model, I have since put 150,000 miles on. It is a Jeep and can get a little uncomfortable on long highway drives. I took this on a 3 week coast to coast road trip across the US I would know. It does a great job towing my 20foot i/o boat to and from the lake, but wouldn't recommend long trips with that much to tow. Maintenance has been astonishingly low, the only things I needed was regular oil changes, brakes, and a radiator leak that was covered under warranty. This is one of the best all around vehicles, top down cruising in the summer and 4x4 for the snowy PA winters.

2018 Honda HR-V review
Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.

2025 Nissan Kicks review
Only had my 2025 kicks sv a few months , 4k miles but I like it a lot , look , style, drives well and it very comfortable. Love all the included safety features that other car companies charge extra for . Gas mileage is incredible. Gave it a 5 across the board, as my last 3 new cars have been a Colorado , for maverick and jeep wrangler. Cost , value of the redesign kicks is much better imop . Dash layout and how easy everything is to use .

2021 LT Trailblazer is on point, been a great vehicle so far. Peppy, slick looks, great mileage, great tech and options. Spacious interior, heated seats, lane departure assist, wireless android auto, big touch screen all wins. Like the rims and color choices. Average 31 MPG so far and I get on it.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro review
I love my Camaro. I absoltely cannot stand the way the cargo shade has to be completely and properly attached in order for me to drop my convertible top. It is beyond infuriating when you get in the car and push the button to drop the top and a message comes up on your dash panel saying cargo shade must be engaged in order to perform this function. You then have to pop the trunk and go push the cargo shade tabs back down on their installed position. It is an absolutely ridiculous thing to have to do to use your convertible top.whoever designed this and whoever approved this are people id like to meet face to face to physically show them my frustration of having to repititiously stop, open the trunk and push 4 raggedy plastic tabs down to open or close the top. You are screwed if it rains having to do this. I would say 4 our of 5 times i have to do this didnt even touch my trunk to make the tabs slide off the pegs a little. For as much as I paid for my car, i am xxxxxx off at the cheapness of this cargo shade and what happens if it gets lost or destroyed??? I will not be able to open or close the top at all. This design flaw being in a Chevrolet Camaro on the last year it is to be made should be consuming Chevrolet with embarrassment and they should recall the cars and override having the plastic snap tabs have any effect on the functioning of the drop top. Someone really should look into this. It makes no sense why it has to be sttached seeing how there is nothing attached to the cargo shade. It is very cheaply made, the tabs are made to wear out quickly especially if u use them often. To put it simply, Chevrolet Camaro designers and upper level ranking positions are putting out severely below par produxts that are supposed to be a member of chevy's infamous models of automobiles that are no longer in production. I thought Chevy prided itself on the collectable discontinued models. These designers must considee collectors as jokes and that parts and ideas like only allowing the top to drop is if a scrap piece cardboard wrapped in thin carpet with a whole in each corner with a plaatic washer on each side of the hole that has to snap onto a stubby little platic button sized "peg" and not come off. Just shutting your door lightly knocks the shade loose. This is stupidest xxxx ive ever had to do on a vehicle and i get more and more xxxxxx off every single time i have to mess with the xxxxx Cargo.shade to use the parr of the car that was the deciding factor in me buying car in the first place. I wanted a badass camaro. What i got was a cluster migraine xxxxxxx no purpose having cargo shade controlling the most important part of the car as far as making it convertible. I dont know how to request that Chevrolet refund me achunk of my money, all i know is this particular part ruins the entire freedom of having a push button drop top and instead u get issue after issue of stopping and pushing crap tabs down. I am heartbroken because my 2024 Camaro is paid in full and i had a lot of extras done to it before i even picked it up because it was supposed to be a discontinued original sports car in chevrolet production. Now i have a really pretty car with cheap plastic tabs controlling the functioning aspect of the entire convertible parts of my car. It is disgusting. Can the cargo shade be overridden or removed permanently so i can no longer worry about using the main function i wanted of the car i got? Please God someone say yes! Please Chevrolet Productions refund the money needed to make this happen. What kind of integrity is left in a classic sports car with such subpar design and production and easily destroyed parts detrimental to the main functioning comtrol of the entire convertible mechanism? 2018 Volkswagen Passat review
Bought it brand new. Overall not bad but has some flaws in ergonomics. Cheap plastic that doesnt stay in place. Had to glue gas tank door plate to prevent it from coming off. Little bit underpowered for a turbo. Windows control in weird place, never can get the right bottom without looking. Transmission always shifts like it cant pick the gear it wants to be in. May upshift and downshift at the same time which feels like you get kicked in the rear.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

After going to several other dealers, decided to give CarMax a try, credit has some dings, just like lots of folks these days, but they found me some financing quickly with no endless run around like other dealers. Had a serious transmission problem less than a year after purchase but the MaxCare warranty took care of it, plus provided a rental for the week they had my car, no questions or problems, only had to pay deductible of 100 on a 2200 repair. Excellent experience all the way around, I've recommended several people to them. Will definitely go back when I'm ready for my Camaro!! :-)

2023 Chevrolet Blazer review

2023 Mazda CX-9 review
Despite this being the final year offered (the CX-90 will replace it soon) the CX-9 is still a looker. The 6 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the 2.5L turbo has plenty of power to move this 4200 pound AWD, SUV. Seats are very comfortable in both first and middle and I keep the third row folded down leaving a good sized cargo area for hauling groceries, 50lb bags of birdseed, softener salt and anything else I need to carry. And I absolutely love the way this thing handles! It feels far more like a nimble car than a 3 row SUV. The 12 speaker Bose sound system is clear and powerful. The cabin is very quiet at all speeds. The ride is firm but solid and comfortable. Not a squeak or rattle. I have the Carbon Edition and I feel it looks as fresh as any new three row mid-sized SUV out there. I traded my 2019 Ram Limited (an incredibly luxurious truck for the Mazda and I was concerned about adapting to a smaller vehicle but the CX-9 is everything I could have hoped for. I would recommend anyone who enjoys driving and has to occasionally carry some bulky stuff to consider one of these before they're gone.

2023 Genesis G70 review
Car is fun to drive, great mileage, nice performance, comfortable on the highway. Only negative is the smaller trunk but since both back seats fold down it is ok as there are only two of us in the family. This is my second genesis and they are great cars.

2025 GMC Acadia review
I saw this car driving by the dealership and automatically was drawn to it because of its color. GMC calls it brown but one print out called it crystal metallic purple. It changes colors depending on the weather. I love the handling, the dash and all the bells and whistles! My grandchildren love how much room that it has!

2018 Jaguar F-TYPE review
Our 2018 FType R Dynamic sure makes it fun to be bad! In the Caldera Red it's a standout with sexy good looks. The black package on red makes it look aggressive and fast! The high performance seats are comfortable and adjust to fit for a perfect driving position. The all leather red and black interior is well made and looks great with the red exterior. The touchs of carbon fiber in the cabin are very tasteful. We like the panaramic roof with the blind that can be opened or closed. The trunk has 14 square feet of space without a spare tire which is considerable for a sports car. The 380 hp 6 cylinder has plenty of power with a supercharger . There is no lag when you want the power. The deplorable spoiler rises up at 60 mph and stays up until you slow to 55 mph. The exhaust sounds so good and even better in the dynamic mode. This is a a very engaging car to drive and the dynamics contribute to the over all experience.
