2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

LaPorte Ford review
We just bought our Bronco HLE this week from AutoPark Ford Laporte. Wow, what a team! Tim( sales consultant) and Dave( Finance Manager) were exceptional from the start! I asked a ton of questions and received answers on all of them. They had a very rare Bronco Heritage Limited edition and charged me MSRP, almost the whole country was charging 5-25k over MSRP. They received 3 other calls but gave me time to make my decision and do my research and never for one second made me feel pressured or played any “sales games”. I have spoken with many dealers and this was by far the best dealership I have ever bought a car from. Dave is finance was awesome, he was so fair with pricing and worked hard to find the best rate and gave me breaks on pricing for the add ons to ensure my families bronco stayed on great condition long after I left the lot. The customer first approach was evident from the first contact to the follow up on my 5/6 calls to Tim after to learn the complexities of all the new tech on the Bronco! What a great team Brent ( manager) has assembled! If you are looking for a hassle free, customer centric experience at the best pricing - you better call this team! The Gallaghers
2017 Ford Explorer review
Bought this car in 2019 as my daily driver. It has enough space to transport my large and was very reliable until about 160,000 miles. Gasket seal and O2 sensors failed causing me $800 in repairs. Not super expensive, but like the previous review says check to see if there are any open recalls. Currently at 230,000 miles and still driving. If you follow the suggested maintenance schedule you'll be fine. If not, you'll be in for some trouble.

Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram review
I want to thank Joe Collins for the wonderful service I received today. From the time I arrived I was welcomed with a smile and knowledgeable service. Joe and the technicians that serviced my Caravan today I want to say Thank you. Someone asked me why I bring my vehicle here for service this is why! I would recommend Castle Chrysler Dodge Ram of Chesterton. I have been a customer now for over 5yrs. and they have always been top notch. You have earned a 5star from me. That's why I'll always return. Happy Holidays to the entire staff and especially to Joe Collins for all your kindness 🥰
2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

Siemans Ford review
My car buying experience with Siemans Ford was excellent. The salesman that worked with me was highly knowledgeable and professional during the whole process. His name is Jon Weber, and there was a long wait for the particular vehicle that I wanted to order. Jon patiently assisted me in setting the best configuration for my 2022 Bronco, also providing test drives and updates on the status of my order. There was no pressure to add unnecessary accessories and the final price was correct and based on the MSRP without any overcharges. I highly recommend Siemans Ford to other car buyers.
2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

2023 Ford Explorer review
I have a 2023 Ford Explorer Platinum, and I purchased it 7 months ago; this vehicle looks brand new and it is extremely comfortable, stylish, and reliable. I am so glad I purchased this vehicle. I will be sure to remain on top of the recommended maintenance schedule through authorized Ford Service Departments. Make sure you use a sun blocker to keep direct sunlight off of your dashboard when parked, which in some extreme cases, can make the leather warp or buckle; this is not just associated with Ford, but all automobile manufacturers that have real leather dashboards ~ especially when in super warm climates.

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2013 Ford Explorer review
10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Best car I’ve ever owned. Does everything I want//need it to do. Always starts in the morning. I’ve been camping with it and slept inside the car. Plenty of room

2023 Ford Explorer review
Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

Michigan City Ford review
I ended up buying a 2019 Ford Fusion. I absolutely love the car. I would buy it again tomorrow. Ran into a few glitches on a few issues which I was confused about but they were promptly handled much to my satisfaction. My car was cleaned to perfection, received a complete checkup, oil changed at my request, met the service dept which I intend to use for all needs in the future. I met the General Manager Greg and my salesman was Blake who I highly recommend This was my first experience with Michigan City Ford and they will be my dealer moving forward for all future needs. I highly recommend Michigan City Ford, they go the extra mile. Patricia L Mason
2022 Ford Explorer review
I have a 2022 Ford Explorer King Ranch, and I purchased it 13 months ago; this vehicle looks brand new and it is extremely comfortable, stylish, and reliable. I am so glad I purchased this vehicle. I will be sure to remain on top of the recommended maintenance schedule through authorized Ford Service Departments. Make sure you use a collapsable windshield cover to keep direct sunlight off of your dashboard when parked, which in some extreme cases, can make the leather warp or buckle; this is not just associated with Ford, but all automobile manufacturers that have real leather dashboards ~ especially when in super warm climates.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2021 Ford Explorer review
I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

The General Manager (Harry) and salesman (Will) were both personable and professional. I felt the negotiation was fair. The dealership had the Corvette Stingray in the exterior and interior colors that I loved. It was also extremely well equipped.

Although pricey, this truck is awesome to drive . Very sharp looking and runs fast! I highly recommend ! We went from a Flex to this car and it was a seamless transition.
