The purchase process went well but the follow up has been nothing but miserable. They are not all on the same page and as a result I have been called multiple times because of their inability to communicate within their building. Cannot recommend this dealership to any of my colleagues.
Went to Bob Smith Motors March of 2017 where we bought a 2011 Chevy Tahoe. the sale went very smooth with no hassel. We were there maybe 30 minutes and got the car we wanted. The Salesman Joel Hiles was very professional in every way. The loan dept looked for us for the best rate and got us a good deal. Was very pleased with the whole process. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a good sales experience.

Be very careful trading in a german car because the used car manager ( he came from the Dodge store) doesn't know how to book out a german vehicle at all (appraise) He did this once before to us and he hits the car so way back of actual trade in value it makes me think he doesn't know what he's doing or he just doesn't want the car. Either way I feel bad for this dealership because it cost them a deal. Mike the GM is a great guy just be careful if you trading in a used euro car. Still a good group of guys but need to learn about real german cars.
Hertz had a great selection of SUV vehicles which we were looking for. Kevin helped us check out the right vehicles and gave us sound advice as we evaluated each one. He even got a tape measure so we could measure haul space! And after all that, the price was right! Thanks Kevin.
Eddie, our salesman, helped us to find the perfect car for our family. We were able to give a description of what we were looking for and our price range and he made the connection perfectly. No back and forth banter on price negotiations. This was the first time I???ve never felt taken advantage of while buying a car. Not to mention, Eddie made sure things went smoothly and quickly as we tackled, what we thought was going to be a feat, with a two and four year old in tow. Buying a car is an all day event, even if you know what you want. So it???s important to have a good working relationship your sales person. We did. We came in to look at vans and Jade Premo helped us. We specifically came to Hertz because of the selection and mileage of their vehicles (rental inventory) and we didn???t want to pay new vehicle retail especially on Minivans. We test drove a Dodge Caravan but weren???t convinced it was the best choice for our needs. The nice thing about Hertz is they carry a lot of makes and models and Jade showed us several other options in the SUV line and a Toyota van. He went through the features and offered to let us test drive every one of them. Ultimately we determined the Dodge Caravan we looked at first was in fact the best choice for our needs. We then went to negotiate the sale. If your looking to haggle you should go to another dealer because this dealership doesn???t budge much and if you check their pricing against the NADA guide and CarGurus you will understand why. However they give you a few perks that make it worthwhile to buy from them. The finance manager is a nice guy who makes the sale personable and didn???t have to since we came in with financing already in place. Where the dealership really shines is their commitment to customer service. We were at the dealership all day and after taking possession of the vehicle and driving home, it wasn???t until the next day that we discovered the windshield had a crack in it. We notified our salesman Jade about the windshield damage by email because Hertz sales is closed on Sunday. He called us even though he was off and said he was going to talk to his sales manager on Monday when he came in. On Monday he called us and said their service department would be calling. After a couple of calls from Jessica in their service department she determined the windshield would need to be replaced and she was going to talk to the sales department to see how to proceed. She called back and said they are going to replace the windshield at their expense and told us not to worry about driving two cars up on the day of the repair because she would put us in a loaner!!! (We live over 100 miles away). A LOT of dealerships would have told the customer that once the vehicle drives off the lot (more often on used car purchases) anything not in writing to be repaired or replaced is the buyers problem. THUMBS UP 👍 to these guys. Standup business with a great staff and customer service attitude. If your looking for a quality used vehicle and a company that wants your business and won???t sacrifice their reputation on customer service for a buck then you NEED to go to this dealership Overland West Hertz Car Sales in Billings Montana!! And if you want to work with a great salesman then see Jade Premo.
We went in to buy a new SS Camaro for my wife. Luckily we got Tim Starkey for our salesman. He showed us the car we wanted and described the features I wasn't aware of. No pressure or games from Tim.
We danced a little working on the price I wanted and we got within $500 of the number my wife and I discussed ahead of time.
Once we got to the buying part, the part we all hate, Tim walked is through and made sure we understood the process and that there was no hidden fees and no gotchas in the end.
If you're looking for a car, City is a good place. If you buy a car, ask for Tim Starkey!
These guys right here are the most stellar group of individuals I've ever met. We got stranded out in Jackson hole with a broken front differential, way off the beaten trail. I called Jackson Hole Ford and got in contact with Fred Vatter, the service director at JH Ford. Fred had no reason to help us in our circumstances, yet he decided to call a tow truck for us, help us find a place to stay for the night within walking distance of the shop, and do a diagnosis on our truck free of charge. I've never met people who are so kind-hearted, and willing to help someone who is in a bind. Believe it or not, Jackson Hold Ford restored my faith in humanity - you'd be a fool not to buy a truck from them or get your car serviced by them.
