I recommend this car if you get it in a standard shift, I'm on my second focus and both were standard shift, the second one is an st and is awsome the first one was a 2013 se with a 5 speed standard and had no problems with either one, my wife's 2018 se has an automatic and so far has bine very reliable!

I purchased my 2014 Ford Focus SE four years ago with 76k miles and its done exceptional well even though its exceeded 100K miles. It saddened me that I only had five months left from its payoff. I was truly looking forward to having it as a second vehicle prior to retirement. The radio went out first, followed by the backup sensor and lastly the internal clutch of the transmission. Ms. Blue has done well for its service until now. It feels like a loss of a family member.

This is the second Focus that I have owned. She was a hand me down from my parents, who owned her since 2009. It was primarily used by as the "kid car". She sat for almost two years before I got her,, so she has a bit of rust now from the north-east winters. However, she is still going strong despite being over a decade old at this point. The only major thing wrong with her is the rust, but her engine and transmission are just fine. The only thing I would say is that if you drive in snow, you have to splurge and get snow tires. Other than that great on gas and has never broken down despite being rather elderly at this point.

The store front was very clean, the reason for 4 stars is due to the location, it is in an industrial type area which makes parking and test driving a little more tricky. Got this lovely little fella for $17,999.00 if you ask me the price I paid I stole it. You cannot beat the value of this. Made in the USA, she was made to work. However you don’t think of a sedan as a work car, that’s not my reference. When I say work I mean when I floor it the traction control lights up and both tires wanna sing along. A DOHC 4 banger! She gets it done. Did I mention it’s a 2013 and the only parts replaced are the wiper blades, brakes, oil when needed, air filters same as the oil, and tires the rest is original with 87,989 on the odometer and she’s a daily driver 😉

Love this car. Ease of driving and size. Easy on gas. Only problem is that the center of the steering wheel is constantly sticky and leaves glue like tar on my hands and clothing. No one and nothing has removed it and ford is no help.

I purchased the 2012 Ford Focus Titanium model (Michelin Pilot Sport Summer tires only), and later purchased Winter tires. The summer tires handle the road really well. The car is really fun to drive as it is very sporty looking and feeling,. The steering wheel is a perfect size and comfortable for Spirited driving. I wish is had more HP, but that's what the RS is for. The transmission is a DUAL CLUTCH which can be used in Auto or Manual mode for fun driving. Initially there were some issues with the transmission, but apparently it was a Software issue and/or a Sensor. It was at the dealer twice for said issues, but after that, it ran fine, never happened again. I put premium gas in it, have the oil+ filter replaced on schedule, replaced the brake pads once, and that's it! NO other MECHANICAL ISSUES. It been a very reliable car. The front seats heat up fast in the Winter, nice LED lights of different colors can illuminate the floor. The Touch screen doesn't have Navigation, but my cellular phone does.

I worked with Brandon (GM) at the dealership and my experience was great. I was visiting from out of town and he answered all my questions and didn’t try to pressure a decision which is refreshing. Ultimately, the 1,000 plus miles of either shipping or driving the vehicle home led me to finding the desired vehicle close to home. Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

Service was good. Waiting area was clean. I like that my car was washed.

The automatic transmission being an automated manual transmission, takes a little getting used to, but it really does feel like a manual is being driven (a little poorly at times). Once you get over/used to this, it becomes a non-issue, and I've enjoyed the gas mileage without the highway going to work every day. Almost as good as my Honda Shadow 750 motorcycle!

It is very comfortable. We are from Rawlins and the 4 1/2 hr long drive back was fun. Smooth car handled great. Love the heated seats and the sportiness of it.

Employees were pleasant and had the car ready when they said it would be. The waiting room was clean and a nice atmosphere with comfortable chairs. There was also coffee and vending machines available.

The only thing I would say in gear 1 get vibration sudder like going up a hill ask the Mechanic to check it he says it’s like a vibration sudder not sure if this is what there meant to be like he said it’s fine apart from that no problem apart from need to sort the clutch

It’s great, but does have recalls in blown head gaskets that makes it burn through coolant. But it drives great, gets great gas mileage and is a comfortable ride

I had A 2005 S model before I bought This one,I had it 9 years,until the motor mounts broke,I live where there are a lot of dirt roads and chuck holes,I traded it in and told them about the motor mounts,they gave me a good trade for a 2014 Focus SE It was also White,it has been a fantastic car in the 7 years i have had it,very smooth and quiet,miles per gallon has been anywhere from 39.6 to 48.8 on the highway when filter and oil is clean,and spark plugs are good where it drops is in city driving or going up a hill,it has been very reliable and tough..I love it!! I even named it "Toni" because its a female voice on the sync,Toni is part of my family and if she breaks down i'm going to fix her,i plan to keep her for a long time to come,she is that good!

I bought my 2002 Ford Focus stationwagon 9 months ago with 180,000km for 1400 CAD. It has the 2.0 Zetec engine and the 5 speed manual transmission mated to it. Currently sitting at 215,000km and it is still running strong. Comfort-wise it's great. I made a 11 hour drive in one day and was not even sore, the amount of headroom, especially in the wagon, is great aswell. Interior design, is alright, it's quirky. Lots of curves, definetly shows its age but everything works great and is easy to operate. Performance wise, its alright. Definetly not a race car by any means, but it is fast enough. The value for money on one of these used is amazing - if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and can do basic repairs and maintenence. Exterior styling is good, its a very interesting looking car. Since I got it 35,000km ago heres what I've done for repairs: Valve cover gasket, motor mounts, hatch struts. I've done a ton of maintenence, all the reccomended stuff for this mileage, but those are the only things I've had to repair. It is currently leaking a bit of oil but on a 1400$ car it doesn't really bother me, doesnt even leak enough to get even halfway down the dipstick between oil changes. It hasn't ever left me stranded.

Ordered my car through the phone with manager. When it arrived ( sooner than expected) i recieved a call that is ready for pickup. Took about 2 hr to do paperwork and i was happily on my way home.

I love these cars, bought a 2014 new but didnt like the quirky transmission (I was driving lyft) so I traded it. Since then I currently own three others. One has a five speed manual, My favorite, the other two ford fixed the dual clutch and they are fine. I like these cars because they are very reliable and get great mileage.
