Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

Great experience with Auto Empire. Transaction was smooth as silk. Their fees were half another used car dealer. Hunter was very helpful and ever talked me through the whole process. My daughter needed a decent used car for college and Hunter talked to me about everything they had in my price range. Great deal on a solid used car! Will be back in a couple years when my son goes off to college.

10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

Love this car overall but I have only one complaint. I was putting some boxes in the rear of the car and one of the boxes must have touched the the rear seat folding mechanism as all of a sudden it tried to unfold the seats. If my grandchildren had been sitting there strapped in I hate to think what may have happened!! Wish you had coverage over the mechanism so this wouldn’t happen.

Came in and was greeted right away, they showed me quiet a few options and went with the one I liked the best. They even put the plates on my car for me, no temp tags or anything! They made it very straight forward and simple. Will definitely be coming back.

2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

Best Ford, other than a pickup, I've ever owned. Minor issues and recalls. All fixed or checked expertly here in Woodbridge VA. Only 80,000 miles. All highway. Tows a trailer perfectly straight. 4X4 with tow package. Getting ready to sell. Nobody else in the house to use it ! Lol

We purchased our Explorer Limited brand new in Sept 2014. We live in Wyoming, and we've traveled to both coasts in comfort. It has 211,550 miles, still going strong! Knock wood!

I have been a customer for years and am never disappointed. Today, I had a little issue with my keyless entry and they got me squared away in less than 5 minutes. Now, that's service!!!

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

This is my 4th Ford Explorer over the last 20 years and I am very happy. Every time I upgrade is nicer in every aspect. I am glad that after so many people telling me to just go to another style and company, I made the right decision.

I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

I bought a brandnew 2023 Ford Bronco Black Diamond 2.7L with Sasquatch packaje in November 2024, there are no complains up to now, it runs better than I expected and is very comfortable inside. Acceleration is also better than expected in spite of 35 inches factory tires, I love it.

Based on this experience, I am very satisfied with the service provided and would gladly work with Stephen again and recommend him to other customers.

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

We received the most excellent care from Sophie. Thank you Sophie you are the BEST! I will say she was extremely knowledgeable with our F250 explaining everything in detail inside and outside the F250. We are extremely happy with our purchase and our truck ran so well during a test drive and after picking it up from the dealer and received allot of looks driving it back to our home almost an hour away. We appreciate all the time Sophie spent with us. This was our 1st Ford pick up but love the looks and all the bells and whistles. I will also say Hope was also extremely knowledgeable about other products so we can make sure our investment always looks the very best. Hope was extremely nice and also a pleasure to work with. I purchased it used 6 months ago with very high mileage. I am still in shock of how good this vehicle is. For starters, not having to do specifically or exclusively with Expeditions, this vehicle is very clean in an out and all around. The paint still shines like new and I believe it to be original, 9/10. The interior shows very light ware. Some leather conditioner and she’ll be a 10/10. The reality is that vehicles like these are usually purchased by very large families with kids so the interiors are usually bad news. Having said that, the previous owner of this vehicle REALLY LOVED this truck as I do. 200k miles on the clock and this thing rides like a dream. I have all the same features and options as the unit used for this article, with the addition of video player with dual monitors on the headrests. The gas mileage is not great but I work from home and we have a multi vehicle household so the gas mileage was not as much a concern for me as it may be for others. In all honesty, I spend my time driving it around on weekends trying to find things to do or cargo to fill it up with just because I can. I am not a handy guy so projects around the house are handled by payed handymen, but I am literally always trying to think about what I can put in it. I am considering purchasing a small travel trailer for some camping adventures. The one thing I am tempted to do, but won’t, is to take a very long road trip in it. I won’t because it does have the previously mentioned 200k on the odometer and because I am not handy, I don’t want to have something go wrong 1k miles from home, but it is so tempting. This is truly one of, if not THE BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned. If you want to look trendy or like to attract attention with a flashy car, this is not the one for you. It looks very dated. My last piece of advice, DO NOT BE OVER CONFIDENT WITH YOUR DRIVING ABILITIES. If you are intimidated by driving a VERY LARGE vehicle in tight spaces or don’t like to use your mirrors to back up because, “I got this,” with your backup camera, this vehicle is not for you. You should be skilled behind the wheel to own this vehicle. I would most certainly recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for this type of vehicle.
