I originally had a 2015 terrain which was AWD and loved it. After leasing my current 2017 Terrain - which is FWD -I feel the car is tailored for a man. The finger holds on the steering wheel, for example, are sized for a man - my hand just doesn’t grip properly. My next vehicle I would like to find something that rides a little less like a “truck” and the Bluetooth has never worked properly which was used by Gavin as a selling point.
This company always goes above and beyond for all of their customers.
Annoying noise from plastic rear bumper on highway

Wish more attention was given to comfort of cooling and heating rear passenger seating. No rear vents in back at all. This was overlooked during my purchased but became very apparent when I was a back set rider during a hot summer day being transported home from surgery.
I required a loaner car as my airbag recall was tended to. Very pleasant, called me about my inspection sticker. I approved to have it done. I received a call half way through the day my car was ready. Loved being informed.
Very stylish and roomy, nice ride.

This car is head and shoulders above all the others I looked at in it's class. The V-6 is very powerful and gets 25 mpg on the highway and 22 city. I highly recommend it!
Overall I really like it and enjoy it but the little things annoy me terribly. Re: cracks in dash and rear door window motors and a/c relay, when they know something is bad and put it in anyway. I think of the challenger space craft??
All 4 tires started to leak air at the same time, fronts being the worst in that they fell out of spec for the FR tire within 2 days and 4 days for the FL. Rear tires also lost air but would take much longer to go out of spec.
Aluminum rims were causing the problem die to weather corrosion.
Turned car in ! 9 AM, had it delivered back, repaired, in about 3 hours. Excellent Service and Quality.

This vehicle from the start had issues. At 2,000 miles the auto stop feature failed and I was stuck in the middle of an intersection. I had to turn the vehicle off and restart it to get the engine to re-engage. Which then I got pulled over from a police officer because I hesitated too long at the intersection. The dealership had it for 1.5 weeks as it needed a new battery and cam shaft cylinoids. The local dealership had been great but GM directly is horrible. It now has radio software issues that I have had it in now twice for it and still isn't working properly. I had a 2017 Acadia before this one that was so unsafe GM ended up buying back from me. I will buy from the dealership again but I will never ever purchase anything from General Motors again.
I loved this truck, looked great, drove great. Only downfall was the 4.8 l motor. Drove excellent by itself but as soon as you hooked a trailer up it lagged down pretty bad. I only pulled a trailer on occasion and it was a 7x14 enclosed which shouldn’t have been too heavy for the truck. Fuel mileage was also about 12-14 on average which i thought was terrible compared to the 5.3. It was very reliable and never gave me any issues, but it just wasn’t what I needed at the time.
It is always an enjoyable experience at the Mort Backus & Sons dealership while waiting for an oil change. Nice atmosphere in the lounge area including coffee and other drinks, soft seating arrangements and a tv to entertain. I am always greeted by all employees who go out of their way to say "hello", maintaining the legacy of the establishment as taught by Mr. Mort Backus in his early history and maintained today. More organizations should adopt these simple but much-appreciated measures for their customers.

I got a great deal on this truck! I wish half ton trucks had a stance more like a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. But this is an amazing truck for the value!
Not just this visit but every time we go there we are treated with courtesy and professionalism. This time it was the body shop, in the past it was the service department, and sales. Can't say enough good about them.

We love our new car. Its spacious with lots of upgrades. Very stylish and comfortable to be in. Love it. Never owned a gmc til now. We've been missing out.
Very satisfied with the entire experience. Mort Backus does it right. Will definitely be back again when I need another vehicle. Service after the purchase is outstanding.

Very comfortable truck that gives everyone plenty of room. It rides very well. This truck demonstrated its reliability very capably while we were at dog show in Virginia. The grounds were saturated already by hurricane Florence and another storm system dumped more rain for an additional three days. It turned the fields into a slick liquid mud that left everyone around us stuck. Our truck’s 4 wheel drive system made quick work of the situation and we were mobile and able to get out. I did spend the next day with a power washer dislodging the mud caked on the underside but we did not get stuck.
Great Place,comfortable and up front and friendly.
Engine turns off when you stop

This vehicle turns off and on when you stop a big safety issue very dangerous to drive. And I am scared to drive this vehicle on the Freeway and streets.
