2021 GMC Yukon review
I own a 2021 Yukon Denali with 23K. At nearly $90k, I purchased every option except for the silly entertainment screens fastened to the back of the front seat headrests. (nice for leaving the imprint of your passenger's faces on the screen in an accident - buy a couple of iPads. First of all, kudos to GM engineers. Technology actually exceeds German cars I've owned. Rear view camera is GREAT and adjustable for brightness, distance and width. But, make sure you purchase the washer for the rear lens...Miirror is almost unusable in rain..(blurring with rain and dirt quickly. I'm 6'2" and really ticked-off there isn't a handle on the "A" pillar to grab to pull into the driver's seat. They put a handle at the upper center of the door opening. What is that for? I have to grab the steering wheel (fortunately rigid with the engine off). Another big problem is the loss of both knees in a frontal accident. With the steering wheel all the way back, I can't even come close to stretching my leg out. Really! A couple of bigger issues: I know the front of this vehicle is right off of the truck, but the end result of the gigantic, unsloped hood, is the inability to see anything 12 feet in front of you. And making right turns.....better memorize that curb before you start your right turn because you won't see it again. Just "that look " from your wife as you run over the curb again with your right rear wheel. Lastly, I hope someone from GM reads this.....With all the awesome high-tech items on this car, why are there no "turn" lights? You know, the lights that let you see where you're going, especially right turns. Porsche has LED lights designated for turns that light up the whole area you're turning into. In the Yukon at least I'll see what I ran over with the terrific rear view mirror! My only intermittent mechanical annoyance is when I push the door handle to lock the doors. It's supposed to fold the mirrors in which is a good way to check you locked the vehicle. occasionally , they don't fold and I have to push the button 4 times. Of course, the mechanic needs only to push the button till it works and tell me it's working. Twice. Guess they win. I'll live with it. Now for the rest: Fantastic overall vehicle! With the air suspension it rides better than Mercedes or Lexus. I always get positive remarks from passengers. The steering wheel control for the Active Cruise control is absolutely perfect. I've driven between Arizona and Colorado without taking my hands off the wheel (just moving my thumb). And the engine, I LOVE THE INLINE 3.0 DIESEL! Almost got the 6 liter but took a chance on the diesel that just came out (in 2021). Same exact torque as the V8 and great for passing. The big difference ..... I had to take a photo of my dash to prove to my friends....heading back to Phoenix with 256 miles on the odometer averaging 30.2 mpg going the speed limit! My Porsche Cayenne gets 19.6mpg (not going the speed limit). The 9 cameras help when parking unless your wife is with you. When I come to a stop I'm waiting for my wife to hold up the 1 to 10 signs like the judges in the olympics. And lastly, For a car that will raise 5" in 4 low, why does the car come with 1 ply polyester sidewalls ? I'm not comfortable on gravel or rocky roads for fear of a sidewall puncture. I highly recommend this vehicle. The designers did a great job making this big vehicle look sleek and smaller than it is. I'm a bit unnerved when I see a vehicle like mine come flying into a parking spot for a perfect 4-point landing and the driver is a 110 lb soccer mom. And I just spent 20 minutes with a micrometer adjusting my position so I don't get "that look" again from my wife. Good luck and hope it's reliable.

2019 GMC Yukon review
We drove two states over to McKenzie Buick GMC in Milton, FL to meet with Nick and make a purchase on our new Yukon Denali. Customer service was top notch. We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. Love the cooling seats, the wifi, the HUD and even days after our purchase they have reached out to check on how we were and mailed us a small gift that meant so much. Buying a new vehicle can feel like walking into a room where everyone knows the rules except you. Handy Toyota was an unknown among the dealerships we had considered—some nearby, others far enough away to make us question whether the drive would be worthwhile. We arrived carrying the usual mixture of anticipation and caution, hoping for the right truck but watching for pressure, hidden turns, or the moment when the experience might become more about the sale than the customer. Jamie, the sales manager, listened when I asked him to recommend a good salesperson and introduced us to Jessie Turner. Jessie was knowledgeable and personable, although initially a little hard to read—which left me wondering how the experience would unfold. Then he bought me a Coke, listened closely to how I described the vehicle I wanted, and led us to a 2026 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 that met the expectations I had brought through the door. He did not try to steer us toward something we had not asked for. He simply paid attention. The next surprise came when we sat down with Samantha in finance. She was phenomenal. Every figure was handled meticulously, every detail explained thoroughly, and every question given room to breathe. There was no tightening pressure across the desk, no games with the numbers, and no sense that we were being hurried toward a signature. What is often the most intimidating part of purchasing a vehicle became one of the most reassuring. Before we left, we were given the names of the people who oversee servicing our Tacoma. The essential features were carefully demonstrated, and we were offered additional help without being overwhelmed by information we were not ready to absorb. Even as the hour grew late, Jessie, Jamie, and Samantha stayed to make certain the deal was completed properly and that we drove away satisfied—not merely processed. Yes, Handy Toyota made a sale that evening. But something more important happened. Fear gave way to relief, doubt was answered by consistency, and an unfamiliar dealership became the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting relationship. They did not simply hand us the keys to a new Tacoma. They cleared a path for trust. A path everyone desires to walk.
2024 GMC Terrain review
I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

2023 GMC Acadia review
I have owned my Acadia just under one year. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.

2015 GMC Terrain review
I bought this car 8 years ago and it had 33,000 miles on it. It now has over 50,000 miles and I have so far not had any mechanical issues with it. It is comfortable and easy to drive, easy to park, and very roomy inside. I like the interior with leather seats and trim. The back seats do fold down for extra cargo space but do not like flat - one negative.

2012 GMC Yukon XL review
I had my Denali XL for two years and absolutely loved it. It was comfortable, quiet and handled well for a large car. My only complaint was gas mileage. I made two trips to Las Vegas for bowling tournaments with all of my bowling gear and my dad's gear plus our luggage and got it all behind the third row seat. I loved all the bells and whistles, especially the cooled seats in Las Vegas. I'm actually thinking about buying another one now that my frequent trips are over. But it can be difficult to justify the expense of this monster. $80K fully loaded is a lot of money for a family wagon. Even used they're expensive.

2019 GMC Acadia review
Its a decent car, but on a car frame. I had a GMC Envoy a truck frame SUV and it was so much nicer to sit higher than the sedans and baby SUVs on the road. Doe have nice accelerations and mileage tho.

2017 GMC Acadia review
Have had lots of problems with the wheel sensors. New tires and new sensors and still have the same issue. Shows tire low and it is not. Just car not even two years the air conditioning would not blow out cold air. The compressor in the back went out, need to be replaced. Side car waring lights come on sometimes even though no car anywhere near me. Fold in mirrors are a joke the driver side comes in and out, however the passenger side sticks. Dealer said yeah that happens. This car is garage kept!
