1999 Honda Civic review
One owner 21 years - still driving it. Nice A/C and drive. Super reliable vehicle has never left me stranded in the 226,000 miles. Major /Minor service in almost 21 years. Ignition switch, New radiator, Power Steering Pump, Rack & Pinion, Idle air Control Valve and thermostat A/C clutch. Routine svc- Battery, Brakes, Tires, engine oil / trans oil, air / oil filters, radiator hoses, belts, inc timing belt/ spark plugs/wires and power window switch and oxygen sensors. Out of precaution (Fuel pump/sock), Fuel filter and new distributor-Never failed. Very few items if you think about it for the number of years 21 and 226,000 miles.

2001 Honda Civic review
I absolutely love my 2001 model, I personally have a 220000 mile body from New England and the body has held up decently well for not being garaged, the motor was rebuild 80k ago along with a clutch, motor was rebuilt at the same time because it was tired after 160000 k worth of beatings,came from my brother who bought it at 18 years old and drove it like a typical teenage boy, Since the motor and clutch was new I finally got to experience the mighty little 1.7 at its best and with the 5 speed transmission and a k&n cold air intake and its plenty enough to put a smile on my face when I put my foot down, not a super fast car by any means but it is very nimble in the corners, I haven't had any issues with it other then brake lines due to the salty roads and the evap box I believe its called a charcoal box started to become an issue at 214000 witch does throw a engine light because the evap system seal is broken, but i haven't noticed and drop in power, haven't had any problems with cold starts, it runs great the reason I haven't replaced it is because is over 130$ witch is ridiculous seeing as how you can buy struts all around for that but in the end I love my car and I'd recommend this to any driver

1991 Honda Civic review
The 91 civic sedan is a great car gets has great gas mileage, gets in the 40's not even some of the new Honda's get that good of mpg. It is really low to the ground and easy to see out of. The car can take a beating. I think it looks kinda of like a small BMW. Really fun to drive even though having only 92 horse. I had two 91 civic sedans and both got over 3000000.

1987 Honda Civic review
This review is for the 1.5 L carb hatchback with 5-speed manual Pros: Excellent fuel economy (36 mpg on my last, mixed city/highway tank) Reliable, good design Simple to fix Enjoyable handling Tight turning circle Great cargo volume & flexibility Low insurance, parts cost Cons: Rust may be a problem, although mine is fine Carbureted engine can be hard to start when cold Issues with emissions system may be tough to fix Safety features are very out of date If you can find one of these great hatchbacks (even better in Si trim), they make great city cars. The large hatch opening and easy folding rear seats make easy work of hauling groceries, bicycles, firewood, etc. The steering is a bit heavy but, without power steering, you get a lot of feedback from the car. The transmission is geared well, but the shifting is a bit vague by even 90s standards. The 1.5L engine is adequate for city driving, but underpowered for passing on the highway. Even given these reservations, this is a wonderful classic Honda. After years in cars from the 2000s, the feel of simple, cheap motoring in this car is a blast.

1995 Honda Civic review
My brother bought it new, 1995 civic DX hatchback, but gave it to me in 2009 w/ 35K miles. It has about 140K miles now. He never had any issues with it when he owned it. Since then, I’ve put about $2K in repairs since 2009. Great gas mileage, 28 city, 38 hwy. Simple engine means simple repairs, not costly. Takes off like a bullet but with only 103 horses there’s not much happening after you hit 35 mph. Bottom line…. Gotta Love Honda!

1998 Honda Civic review
Overall it's not a bad car. My only complaints are that it has very little leg room, and very poor power. Mine is a base model so the power is to be expected. But it is a dog on the highway. But it does have over 200,000 miles on it, and I paid 1,500 for it about 6 months ago and hasn't had any problems. Oh, by the way, I put about 15,000 of those miles on it already.

2001 Honda Civic review
I loved this car. this was my first car and it's been absolutely amazing. Its got nearly 250k miles and still works great. I've had a few oil leaks over the years and had to replace the coolant thermostat, but that's really just maintenance stuff.

1997 Honda Civic review
My husband's Grandma passed this car down to us with 72,000 miles. She kept it in the garage its whole life and barely drove it. No rust, looks like it just pulled off the lot. It is crazy how much it gets to the gallon. We are getting rid of it because we are a family of 6 but definitely recommend. Great commute car.

1995 Honda Civic review
If you are shopping for a car, for long-term ownership, I would persuade you to buy a Honda. I bought my 1995 Honda Civic VX Hatchback 22 years ago, and have owned it ever since then. I have always changed the oil, brakes, and done routine maintenance, and she has never let me down or left me stranded. I've routinely gotten over 40 mpg while traveling, and I've been all over the U.S. with her. Although she has developed some rust issues because I was TDY in the New England area for almost 3 years, she still runs & drives like the day I bought her. LOL, I feel that Honda should send me the new Civic SI Type R, as a loyalty replacement, but I can wish in one hand...right!? If you want a reliable car, and you're not worried about trading it in 5 years, and can use that car payment for something else monthly, then buy a Honda!

We answered a Craigslist ad. The price was so good we didn’t believe it was a real ad. We went to see the car, Charlie was our salesman. We weren’t sure so we left, no pressure. We took a second look, easily agreed on a deal and left a deposit. We came back to pick up the car and the price we agreed on was the final price! I expected documentation fees, all those fees most dealers try to add. We were finished in about 10 minutes, I expected an hour or more. So we started out happy and remain happy, love the car. There will be something with any used car but everything was clearly disclosed, no surprises. All of the staff were very friendly and Charlie was a great salesman. It was the best experience and we will be back, and tell our friends of course.
2000 Honda Civic review
I bought mine new in 2000 for 17,000 and put 244,000 on it. The usual timing chain, tires exhaust, the brake lines do rust out around 225,000 and the front cross member is prone to rust also but otherwise very fun to drive. Feels like a go cart and super smooth on highway . Trani start slipping at around 150,000 but changed fluid and it was like new. Hard to sell it but i probably will as too many cars

Have owned this car since 2008. 1999 Lx civic stick shift. Very reliable 220000 miles and still going. Trying for 300000 miles. It will make it .. the a/c even works .. power windows .locks. Just change your oil and go.. 35+ miles per gallon . Paint is great considering from ny.

1997 Honda Civic review
After buying it for 500 bucks with 140,000 miles on it, I didn't even drive it for a couple months, just let it sit there in my driveway. Battery died on me but after a quick charge, it was rolling. Great car that don't expect to die out anytime soon. If you see one of these cars on the market at a low price don't hesitate to buy even if the mileage is breaking 200,000. I honestly expect these cars in a couple years to go up in value for the nostalgia effect.
