This is the first Honda I have ever owned and will likely be the last as I expect it to out live me lol. We travel back and too from North Georgia to SW Florida and the car is so comfortable that I make the drive in one day. We get good gas mileage and the Pilot is a nice looking car with plenty of power.

So I found myself "carless" after selling my former car to a friend. In the meantime I was able to drive my daughter's truck while she is working in Nome, Alaska. Now there are numerous ways to purchase a used car. Some people choose to find one from private owners which is a good way to purchase a used vehicle if you know the person and vehicle. On the other hand my wife and I have made it a practice to check into dealerships when looking for a used vehicle. There are the people who will say "you'll end up paying quite a bit more when going to a dealership" and, perhaps somewhat more. That being said we have chose to go to the dealership to look for that vehicle. "Why" you say? Well a dealership has to maintain a good reputation so we have always felt they're not going to sell you junk. So off I go to Joe Bowman's Auto Plaza. I met Tristian as I entered into the showroom. He certainly didn't fit any kind of a pushy salesman but more like someone there to show me around. Sometimes we talked about the car I came to look at and other times we just talked. The whole encounter was about the most stress free experience one could imagine. Whatever questions I had he answered to my satisfaction. Without making any decision without consulting my wife I told Tristian I'd call him within an hour and a half. I did and with just a tinge of a "non haggling haggle" we came to a fair decision to purchase the 2011 Nissan Versa. The next day we picked it up after some paperwork and away we went. The SUV meet all my family need with space, seating and tech that come from the factory are perfect for us. My wife works as an independent contractor she has a lot of equipment to move during the job hours. Picking kids from school after work work out perfectly without having to toll trailer around with her.
