They are good honest people over there at Auburn Honda. I flew out from New Mexico to buy a used car sight unseen and they represented it honestly as it was just as they had stated it to be. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had them check the AC also. The first issue I had was the wait to get checked in. I advised the staff and they said they will look into it. The service was done in a reasonable time, cost was a bit high but was manageable. They found an AC problem and that's where the second issue came in. I brought it back the next week to have it repaired, and picked it on the same day, the problem was we picked it up and did not realize the problem was not fixed. They did not check the work after repairing it and we did not check it before we left, so there was a failure on two fronts. I notified the service adviser and he said bring it back in and they will make it right. I took it back and it took the day to fix it, but it came back repaired with no extra charge.

We started at AutoNation Dodge, which didn't have the vehicle we were interested in, ready to sell. We waltzed over to the dealership next door, looking at the Kia Tellurides, because we were in the market for an SUV or sedan. No sales people stopped us so we continued making our way to the next dealership, Honda, where we found the car I ended up purchasing, a Lexus IS350 F Sport. I was sold after the test drive. It was a very easy sale for your salesman. We waited about 30-40 minutes to test drive it once we found it. We then signed all the paperwork with an agreement of an offer from one of the lenders. It seemed like a done deal when Sayed told us it was being sent to detail and sat us in the waiting room. About an hour later, he asked us to relocate ourselves to the other Honda dealership, where the finance team would finalize the paperwork for me. We thought, cool, no biggie, but we sat there for hours waiting for issue after issue to be resolved while the finance team tried to find a lender that could accommodate the loan. Shout out to Jonas for REALLY stepping in and reassuring me and my partner that he would be there to support us until we left happily. The finance department could perhaps use a bit more training. The initial signing of the lender offer that was done with the sales person (Sayed), should perhaps be eliminated; this did give us a false impression of what our rate of interest, lender, and monthly payment would truly be. Overall, the car had a lot of repairs done to it and after taking it to my mechanic, he assured me that everything was sound aside from a misalignment. (Oh and the two blown speakers that I found out of after the paperwork was signed...soon to replace!) This is concerning because Sayed had reassured me that the alignment had been performed. I did pay out of pocket for this alignment to be done after the purchase. :( Thank you Jonas for seeing it through and following up after the purchase.

2026 Honda Ridgeline review
Ridgeline Black Edition, the top-of-the-line model, is a great light utility vehicle that also makes a great daily driver. As comfortable to drive as a car. Gets good gas mileage for a truck and has many outstanding safety features, which is why I bought it again after owning two. Next year is going to be a major upgrade. The current model does not have all the features of the Honda Pilot, which has the same engine. Upgraded stereo, heated and cooled seats, and a place to charge your phone without connecting with a cable. Electronics are somewhat confusing because they are layered. Really good view out the front and side. Only black interior. Locked trunk in bed. AC outlet in bed. Quick in acceleration, 0-60 in about six seconds if needed. Steering is somewhat heavy and not exactly as precise as my last model. Overall, this is my third, and I keep coming back because it works for me. AWD can tow 5000 lbs. The black edition comes in three colors: Black, White, and Sonic Gray Pearl, which I bought, and many have commented on. Would I buy again or wait till next year when a hybrid comes out? I needed the safety features now, and the first year of a new edition generally is not that reliable.
