Eddie "The Green Mile" Brown made buying a used car a walk in the park. I gave him the budget I wanted to stay within, and the vehicles I was interested in and he made everything else fall into place. He approached me outside and from the moment I walked into the dealership from the moment I walked out he was not once pushy or annoyed that I was not the easiest customer. His name was on the door as "Salesperson of the Month" which, Ill admit, was intimidating at first but after spending 10 mins with him I could see exactly why. Eddie could sense that I was nervous about buying a different vehicle and he continuously reassured me that I would not leave unhappy. He was right! Thank you Eddie for the best car buying experience yet and thank you Honda of Jefferson City for taking my hunk of junk off of my hands and getting me into the perfect new (to me) vehicle. I came to Honda of Jefferson City to have a key cut for my 2014 Honda Pilot. After previous bad experiences with both Hyundai/Nissan (service) and Honda (dealership) of Jefferson City, I was really nervous about dealing with them. Brian met me at the parts desk and helped me get going on my service. The tech in back pointed me out to the service bay where Brian picked me back up (I didn't know I'd need his help initially) and got me going. I was told on the phone when I ordered my key the process would take 45-60 minutes and they had me out in 30. Not only that, Brian took the time to explain other things that might be going on with my car (without pressure - just giving a head's up) and printed pictures to explain the issues. I sincerely appreciate his extra effort!

I came into the dealership to look at a 2015 bmw 3 series. I had two other cars I wanted to look at if I didn???t get approved for it. The managers advised me to look at my second choice (2013 camaro) because I am 19 with not much work history and the second choice car was the cheapest with the least amount of miles. I really liked that car but when my parents came up with me they wanted me to get something else. I was pretty adamant on getting the camaro but I walked the lot with my parents. I saw the bmw again and I stood in front of it waiting for my parents , just so I could show them the original car i wanted. I knew I wouldn???t get approved for it and if I did, I???d have to put a lot of money down. But my mom really wanted me to get this car so Kurt did his best and he was able to get me approved, with not too much money down. They detailed it and gave me a full tank of gas. I just purchased yesterday so I???m still in shock. Thank you Kurt! I???m so happy.

I am an out of state Odyssey owner who had the good fortune of having my 2007 Odyssey serviced by Honda of Jefferson City. My vehicle had the 100K mile maintenance completed in my home state less than one month ago. On my way to Missouri, I noticed a humming noise that grew progressively worse the farther I drove. I called the Jeff City dealership when I reached my parent's home, and was able to take the car in that same afternoon. Within 24 hours, the problem was diagnosed; within 48 hours the problem(s) were fixed; within 72 hours, my car was returned to me serviced, detailed, and costing less than originally quoted. All of this was accomplished by courteous professionals, who kept me informed of each step in the maintenance process. Honda of Jefferson City is a wonderful example of Honda Service and Customer Service. I highly recommend them and honestly wish they were my regular Honda dealership.

I drove about 100 miles to purchase a 14-yr-old car with 75k miles on it. We were treated with fairness and friendliness during the sales and purchase experience. Paperwork was quick. The car had an engine trouble code thrown the next day, and I took it to 2 local mechanics. One mechanic said he would not work with the ASC warranty given to us by Top Quality. The second mechanic suspected electrical or exhaust problems, and the ASC warranty would not cover these. You should read the ASC warranty before you purchase if you are not going to be able to bring it back to TQM during their own local 30-day warranty period. The long distance warranty is not nearly as comprehensive, and you have to choose one or the other at purchase time. Make sure you understand what you are getting. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. I had my old car for 13+ years (time flies!), so I was definitely needing a replacement. Trent Custard & Columbia Honda made it very easy for me to find a new vehicle that "fit" me just as well as my old car did. I drove a few different styles around for a couple of days each and finally settled on the 2017 CR-V. Having the chance to take the cars home with me was perfect. I was able to drive around and figure things out at my own pace and not feel like someone was looking over my shoulder while I was trying to make a decision. Even signing the paperwork was so much easier than expected! I had always anticipated a huge headache to come along with buying a new car (which was partially why I waited so long to get a new car!), but that was definitely not what I experienced working with Trent at Columbia Honda.

This car exceeded my expectations. Not surprising since I went from a 2007 Honda Accord. The Insight EX is packed with bells and whistles. Great audio/sound system, CarPlay, and cameras for the rear and right turn blindspot. The car can move too. Put it in Sport mode and let them eat your dust. Seriously it has some pickup that’ll put a grin on your face. The mpg on the sticker is accurate too. I have been driving it like a non-hybrid several times and my manual calculation when I fill up the gas tank has averaged 51 miles per gallon. Great vehicle!

2012 Honda Ridgeline RTL

I loved the ridgeline when I had it. Had lots of room and was very comfortable on long trips which we did a lot of. It averaged about 17 mpg not the best but it was a great truck. It had 130,000 miles when I traded it in and it could've gone another 100,000 miles. No problems with it just wanted something smaller and more economical. Would recommend if you like how SUVs or cars drive but want a truck.

On a bright and sunny Thursday evening I was on my home from work. It was about 5:30 when I hit a curb and popped my tire. A friend and her husband came to change the tire and we quickly found out that my lugnut "key" was no longer in my possession. I called Columbia Honda thinking that they had neglected to return the "key" to lugnut bag. I spoke with TJ Mitchell who is the Assistant Service Manager. He assured me that his service department did not have it since they did not use the customer's keys. They had several sets to fit a variety of models. I voiced my disappointment because I really had no idea where the key was and how I was going to get my tire changed. TJ inquired about my location and told me that he would be there in about 30 minutes (he was clear across town) with some sets to get the tire off. What?! He was coming to help? That was awesome!! He arrived some time later and attempted to find the correct "key" to remove the lugnut. My relief was short lived as he found that the sets he had couldn't unlock the lugnut. Now, what was I going to do? TJ then asked me to give him some more time. He was going to go back to the dealership and get more sets. He then asked for my keys and told me that he would get the tire changed and lock my keys in the car and it will be done in about an hour! I was floored. Here was this guy that had no reason to spend his time to fix my mistake, but he was doing it! We left and a few hours later I returned to my car and to find that not only had he changed to tire, but he had removed and replaced on the locked lugnuts. I would now have no trouble changing my tires! I purchased my car from Columbia Honda and have taken it to them for every oil change. The service department has always been helpful, kind, and informative. They inform me of areas of concern that they find and give me options on how to handle them. However, this act of service truly went above and beyond what I would ever expect. Thank you to TJ for his generous sacrifice of his time and talent.

The car meets all my needs but for 30 k they should add a outside temperature gage to dash board. Around 25, 30 miles per hour transmission makes a noise like you hit a rock. Honda dealer sad is normal but it sounds like a bad transmission. I own the pilot lx base model 6 speed. Overall it is a good and spacious car.

So as you can imagine and may have experienced yourself, dealing with car dealerships can be quite the pain in the rear. This had happened to me on a few occasions in the past (to be clear it was with other dealers). So when the time came to start looking for a vehicle, I dreaded it. Enter Josh Larimore. I have known Josh for a while, so I decided to give him a shot. I spent a couple days looking at their inventory online, as well as a few other places, and doing research on what type of vehicle I might want. I called and told him I was coming in to look at a couple of cars on a particular day and time. When I arrived he was waiting for me with a smile and a handshake and of course greeted me by name. Unfortunately my top pick had been sold, but my second, third, and fourth were available. After test drives I settled on a car. Now for the wheeling and dealing..... right? Not so much...... at least not with Josh. Josh was a straight shooter on the deal. Hey, honestly we could had big discussions about value, and why this and why that....... or, we could _not_ do that and just get straight to it, which is exactly what we did. Here is my vehicle, which books for X, and here is your vehicle which books for X. So lets do deal X/X and get the papers signed. Yes of course the manager had to try to step in and try to haggle a bit, which I understand is his job. But Josh and I had a deal and that was the deal that I got. After all, you have one excellent sales guy, and he did a great job with me..... so let him do it. That being said, it was not at all high pressure, and the deal Josh made with me was fair and reasonable. The manager honored it, and I got it. Even the part with the finance guy was pleasant. Of course it is his job to offer the extended warranties and such, which he did quite well by offering lots of options. But what was even better than that was that I felt no pressure at all, even when i declined those warranties. He said "no problem" and finished the paperwork. Now..... the best parts...... They were able to cut my previous interest rate in half, lower my monthly payment by $450 per month, and put my in the car I wanted all within a couple of hours. Great Job guys! You will certainly have first shot of my business in the future!

Just to put this out there first, I really like this car as an overall package. I'd echo the consensus from other reviews on this site. Even with the base LX trim we purchased, I really like the austere and functional interior. It's quite comfortable for me at 6'2" 230lb, and provides plenty of space even with two car seats in the back (one rear facing, one forward facing). The trunk is absurdly large, and I love the exterior style of the car. Yes, the engine noise is annoying when it's working hard - which happens even on brief mild uphill highway segments. But, importantly, even though it's not a fast or powerful car by any stretch of the imagination, the power available never feels inadequate. It's not gonna knock your socks off or anything, but it's plenty to do what you need to do without flooring it everywhere. That was a notable difference between the Insight and other compact hybrids I test drove. All that aside, I'll devote most of my review to discussing fuel economy since I suspect many hybrid buyers value that above all else. We recently moved and are now commuting ~100 highway miles every day. I ran the numbers and figured a hybrid would be more environmentally friendly and save us some money and in the long term, so we traded in our prior 32MPG commuter for a 2019 Insight LX. After a few weeks of commuting, we've experienced fuel economy FAR below what I expected based on the advertised EPA estimates. It's currently around 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit in the mornings (April is still early springtime around here), and I'm only getting about 37 MPG at that temperature. In the evenings, when the temperature has risen to to ~50 degrees, the fuel economy typically maxes out around 43 MPG. Even though we're still dropping below freezing most nights, I'm running on the stock tires until next fall. I assume winter tires will further worsen the fuel economy, and I'm afraid to see the MPG in January and February when daily highs temps are in the teens and 20's. To expand on what I'm seeing in real world driving: - I'm driving at typical highways speeds. As soon as I get on the highway, I set the adaptive cruise control to 70MPH and just follow the car in front of me for 40 miles. - Even though it's 25 degrees outside, I don't have the climate control blasting heat. The car stays in our garage overnight, so the latent heat is plenty to keep me warm and prevent the climate control from having to work very hard. - My commute isn't exceptionally hilly; in fact, it's pretty flat. I'm also driving a round trip on the same road every day, so uphill going one direction is compensated for by downhill on the way back. - Traffic flows pretty smoothly along my highway commute, so there's very little braking and accelerating once I get up to highway speed. - I have about 5-10 miles of "city" driving on each end of the commute. I'd hoped that would help the overall fuel economy, but if it is, it's not significant. Overall, my biggest recommendation is to be aware that your real world fuel economy may be significantly worse than advertised if you're driving in even remotely cold temperatures. I really like this car as an overall package, but I'm quite disappointed by how much temperature affects the fuel economy. From what I've read, that may just be a hybrid thing, so I'm not specifically blaming Honda by any means. It's just something I never would've thought to research beforehand since temperature didn't make much of a difference with my non-electrified vehicles in the past. I traded in a "better" car to save money on gas, and now I probably won't be saving anything in the long run since my typical real world fuel economy is at least 25% worse than the EPA estimates.

Jonathan Martin provided a very straightforward buying experience, remained responsive throughout the pre-purchase/purchase timeframe, and followed-up to ensure all actions were accomplished to my satisfaction. The Price: This dealer beat the next best price, had the least dealer wrap fees, and the web-advertised price was exactly as stated. When I arrived to purchase the car (I flew in from out of state), they had found an additional incentive to apply to my price--this incentive covered my airline ticket and then some! The Service: Jonathan Martin (sales) and Anthony Heaper (finance/business) were quick, professional, and thorough. The biggest wait was with my credit union's weekend team--haha! The Car: The car was detailed, and exactly as described. It was full of fuel at delivery. Joe walked me through some of the features that were new from my previous vehicle. The Back Story: Our previous car was destroyed when another person ran a red light and hit it. We were pretty upset, since that model is no longer sold in the US. The new car is great, and after my 500 mile trip home, I am happy to say that it performs very similarly. It should be cheaper to operate than the TDi, also. Great job, VW.

After searching on Cars.com I found and bought my new Mazda from Joe Machens which is how I got introduced to their service department. I've long been told that for service you are better off avoiding the dealership and sticking to the other shops. Boy that is completely untrue!! I get all my regular oil changes, and I've even had body work done on my car door after a run in with my garage door (pretty embarrassing) at their service department and collision center, I even bought my tires there when they were due to be replaced. Dave, Michelle and everyone in service gives everybody the royal treatment. Loaner vehicles for FREE for longer repairs, shuttle service if you need to get back to work, free wifi and Diet Cokes if you wait in their lounge which I love! Competitive pricing, and certified techs that stand behind their work and guarantee it and that gives me peace of mind I just can't get at a big box store. I am a young woman and I really appreciate having an HONEST and trustworthy mechanic who treats me with respect and like a friend. No matter what I'm driving I plan to continue coming here for service. They are seriously the best!

I went to Josh again for my second vehicle because of the expertise and customer service he displayed was excellent the first time back in 2015. I was confident in my credit and told him that I wanted something newer than my 2009 Honda Accord, like a 2012-2015. He showed me the 2017 Honda Accords and in my mind, I'm thinking "My credit is good but not that good." I asked if it was available in a color I liked and it was. I test drove it and I liked it. While waiting on the financing decision, his team checked on me and were very nice. To my surprise, I was approved for the car but wasn't too keen on the financing and Josh picked up on that. He went to his team and before I knew it, I drove off the lot with a brand new Honda Accord Sport in a color that I picked out! He and his team will continue to get my business.
