2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I’ve had many Subarus in the past, but wanted a hybrid vehicle. So glad I did with these gas prices! I’m getting 41mpg right now. My favorite things are the trunk kick open feature, my hands are always full. I love the heated steering wheel too. I have the flat matte gray color, I receive lots of compliments and color hides dirt well. Handles well on road, drives nicely. Only thing I would change is size of cup holders, they are small.

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Bought my 2024 used with 13k miles on it. Maybe I'm old school due to prior life with a 97 TJ and and 01 XJ but this car is fantastic to drive and very luxurious. Perhaps not as tech heavy as other SUVs, but it does everything I could hope for, and has been fun for road driving and light off roading.

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L Review (1,500 miles) After careful research, I purchased a Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L and have now put just over 1,500 miles on it. As a tough critic, I’d give the car an overall 9/10, with many aspects deserving 4.5/5 stars. What I Like: The Accord feels exceptionally well-refined, handsome inside and out, and surprisingly high-quality. The dashboard and infotainment system are straightforward, responsive, and user-friendly. Controls are logically placed, voice commands and hands-free calling work reliably, and call quality is excellent on both ends. I especially love the regenerative braking paddles on the steering wheel. They keep me engaged while driving (especially in the city), help recharge the battery, and reduce wear on the brake pads. The driving experience is a highlight — the car feels agile and nimble in traffic, with competent acceleration, steering, and braking. It simply feels well-engineered and enjoyable to drive. On cold Michigan mornings, the vehicle warms up quickly, the windshield defrosts fast, and the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature within about five minutes of remote start. The three-level seat heaters are effective and useful for maintaining comfort without running the heater constantly. What I Don’t Like: Headlights: While the low and high beams provide good visibility, the automatic high-beam system is finicky. It sometimes stays on too long when oncoming traffic approaches, unlike the flawless system in my previous 2018 F-150. Seat Comfort & Space: For my daily 70-mile commute, the seats are adequate. As a 6’0”, 250 lb driver, I have plenty of headroom and the car comfortably fits five adults. However, I suspect the seats may not be plush enough for longer trips, and I wish there was a bit more legroom. Fuel Economy: This is my biggest disappointment so far. I drive about 85% highway miles. In cold weather (low 40s°F). I’ve been struggling to break 38–39 mpg, with occasional warmer drives reaching 42–43 mpg. I was hoping for closer to the advertised 48 mpg combined, even in winter, and expect improvement as temperatures rise. Data Privacy: I discovered after purchase that Honda and Google are collecting significant driving and vehicle data with limited options to control or limit what is shared with them and third parties. Overall Verdict: The Accord Hybrid EX-L is a refined, comfortable, and enjoyable daily driver with excellent build quality and thoughtful features. Minor frustrations with the auto high-beams, seat comfort for long trips, and lower-than-expected MPG in cold weather keep it from a perfect score. Still, I’d highly recommend it for most buyers, especially once warmer weather returns and fuel economy improves.

Little over 800 miles and already getting over 40MPG city. Highway is in low 30's. Seats could stand to be just a bit wider. Really miss not having Sirius Radio but finding ways around it. NO Spare tire.

2022 Hyundai TUCSON Hybrid review
Ive owned an SEL Convenience from new. It has an incredible performance for a Hybrid. It has a quiet, has a fabulous tiptronic transmission (with paddle shifters) with an amazing sport mode. The thing is, that if you use too much right foot, your gas mileage goes down by about 10mpg ... but it does with any car, right ? If you drive smoothly and don't accelerate hard the gas mileage can go to over 40mpg ! At 55-65mph on level pavement, it gives great gas mileage .. but accelerating at traffic lights or going fast up gradients doesn't. Thats what happens with performance vs economy. This car is well built and has great space and grace. Those that criticize the gas mileage must be "pedal to the metal" people! The sound system and Apple/Android access is really good - better than many other car brands. The warranty is amazing and so is the service support network. I'm sad to be selling my SEL Convenience because I going abroad. I'll definitely get another one when i return.

Yes, incredible. It is not often I experience something incredible. I did at Don Wood CDJR. In fact, my fist experience in October was such a positive experience I was motivated to purchase a second car from them a few months later. For me, customer service is the support you offer your customers before, during and after they buy. BEFORE: Their website is easy to maneuver and up to date with inventory. This is a little lol because I didn't find what I wanted in their inventory and decided to make a custom order from them. DURING: While at the dealership everyone I encountered made my time there an easy and enjoyable experience. I'd describe them as professional and knowledgeable. Good listeners. AFTER: Many companies forget you, not the peeps at Don Wood. The followup care and support continued in a way that made me an absolute believer that their culture in wanting a happy customer is truly far reaching and genuine. They reached out to me just to make sure I didn't have any post purchase questions about the car or they many options I ordered with my new vehicle. I have not had dealings with their Service Department, however, I did pass a couple technicians in the halls etc. Each one made eye contact with me and each one said "hello". Unhappy or disgruntled associates do not do this. In summary, Yes Yes and YES - I drove from New Albany to buy my 2 vehicles here. My first was a Jeep in November and today a RAM 1500 diesel. With my highest recommendation I say YES I give Don Wood CDJR my gratitude and thanks. I am huge fan of their product. IMO their product isn't the cars and trucks they represent/sell, it is the humanity with which they do business and the genuine person to person interaction. It is meaningful. 2025 Toyota Corolla Hybrid review
It’s kind of funny. It’s a Corolla Hybrid, but looks so sporty that I find a lot of people look to race me when the light turns green…it’s a Corolla, and it’s not quick…at all. But, that’s a testament to its appearance. It’s very nice looking in the SE trim. The performance and CVT are prohibitive to excitement, but it is economical and adequate for normal city and highway driving. The road noise is pretty bad, but the suspension supple and it absorbs road imperfections well. The seats in front and the rear are comfortable. It does lack storage space as well. The glove box is basically just big enough to hold your registration. The center console is very small as well. The base sound system is its biggest flaw. It is terrible. I don’t know if the upgraded stereo is much better or worth the upgrade, but with as much road noise as there is, a better/louder stereo is needed to hear the music and drown out the other noise. I am averaging about 44-45 MPG in the AWD SE Hybrid.

I was not in any way, shape, or form in the market for a car in today's market. My car was paid for, I was completely happy with it for the time being, and not having a payment was one less thing to worry about. My paid off car, with no payments, was totaled while sitting in a parking spot on a main street a few weeks ago. Out the window went my "keep my paid off car until the market gets better plans"! After much research (I live in Athens County), I discovered Don Wood had a decent inventory across all of their locations, so off to Athens I went (I went to the Don Wood Toyota location). Sales Consultant, Bruce Simpkins, is the best, kindest, most caring sales person I have met to date (I have bought at least 17 cars over the years)! I explained my situation, but unfortunately, finding a decent car with less than 100,000 miles for under $15,000 in today's market, is a struggle. 2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. Gas mileage is not max yet, but it is still breaking in. There are a lot of electronics to learn how to use and I read and watch YouTube for more info. Looking forward to really driving this long distance.

2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I absolutely love this car. I traded my 2023 Subaru Outback Touring XT for this 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring. I absolutely love the way it drives. I have had hybrids before from Toyota and they drive like you know they are a hybrid with noisy obnoxious engines. This car is smooth and has great road manners. It isn't a sports car by any means, but I love the way it drives. It is not your typical fuel sipping hybrid SUV. I would highly recommend this vehicle.

Salesman and Chiefs' fan Zachary was polite and patient without exception through a 5-day used vehicle purchase, including coming in on his day off to finalize the sale. Because of the pandemic, I emailed him early on, listing my social distancing needs; sales experience expectations; model, approximate year, and vehicle features needed; as well as trade-in vehicles’ features. The first CR-V he showed me was the one I purchased. Negotiations were kept respectfully short, and I think the dealer and I were both satisfied with the outcome. There were some hitches in paperwork—for example, the first loan document included the dealer’s initially proposed trade-in amount instead of the negotiated amount—but I believe these were unintentional mistakes, and they were remedied with haste and without complaint. You might save a bit more by driving to a high-volume Columbus dealer—I don't know—but if you prefer shopping in Athens, as I do, I recommend giving Hugh White a try.
2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
I traded in a Corolla hatchback for this RAV4. I love the size inside. I love the screen and it’s pretty comfortable though. I haven’t taken it on a very long trip. My gas mileage has decline since winter has come, but so far the all-wheel-drive is handling the snow

2024 Honda Accord Hybrid review
Very nice car. My previous was a 2020 Accord. This hybrid Accord Sport L is way better. Do not get me wrong. The 2020 is a very good car. Someone is quite happy with it, no doubts. I recommend buying a spare. I chose Modern Spare. Spendy. Great quality. Hope I never use it. The spare fits underneath the trunk where the inflator is. Just remove the foam. Comes with everything you need plus a threaded plate to secure it. All fits in and around the spare. Plus, I got jumper cables in there. We think the car is quiet. I notice others think not. Plenty of power. Mileage I have gotten is much better than what it is rated at. Love the paddles. Fake down shifters. Much less use of brakes for lights and stop signs. Planning to keep this car for quite awhile.
