2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I’ve really enjoyed my 2024 Ioniq 5 Limited. The combination of comfort, performance, technology, and distinctive styling makes it a great EV for everyday driving. The Limited trim has a lot of features, and the interior feels spacious and upscale. The AWD gives it plenty of power, while the ride is quiet and smooth. Home charging is convenient and significantly cheaper than gasoline, especially compared with my previous vehicle. I also like the 800V fast-charging capability for longer trips. Overall, the Ioniq 5 feels like a well-designed EV rather than simply a traditional car converted to electric. Pros: Comfortable, quick, spacious, excellent technology, great driving experience, low charging cost. Cons: Built-in navigation could be better, and the charging network experience still isn't as seamless as Tesla's. Overall: Highly recommended.

2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
The Ioniq 5 is the safest and most comfortable car I've ever driven. Now that I have a Tesla charging adapter, the charging infrastructure is less of a challenge and my range-seasonal variations from 190 to 290 miles-is sufficient. I have had an issue with the 12-volt battery unexpectedly failing but otherwise the car has been extraordinarily dependable.

Recently I had to get a newer car and believe me I was stressed because of the situation but when I went to CarMax which this is my second car from them it was once again amazing to work with them! I had the pleasure of working with 2 amazing sales associates. Helen Mayo who was my main sales associate and Cheyeene Toliver who helped out my wife and myself when Helen was off! They both were very kind and helpful and made the process an ease! I was thinking of other options but since they were amazing I went with them instead if your looking for a car I highly recommend you ask for either of these two women they are a great help!

So easy, it left me extremely pleased! I brought two friends with me for "second-third opinions," and they both enjoyed sharing the adventure with me! Very happy with our salesman who explained clearly what each step was in the test drive and through the paperwork.
2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I have the Limited version of this car. It has a very comfortable ride compared to our Tesla M3. Range is plenty for daily commuting and long drives. The car charges very quickly at EA stations and comes with 2 years of free charging. The front seats are very comfortable and fully recline plus they are heated and cooled. The infotainment system is feature rich but the controls are a complicated mess so I mostly use Apple CarPlay with works great on the large display. I suggest you test drive this car as the photos make it seem smaller than it really is. It’s about crossover size but with a hatchback. The Digital Teal and Shooting Star matte paint colors are beautiful! My Hyundai service center has been excellent but some other Hyundai dealers are not so great. Visit your local service center before buying.

I had an amazing experience with the service department at Universal Mitsubishi! My car was towed in for repairs, and Paul, the service advisor, went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of properly. He was professional, communicative, and truly cared about getting my car fixed the right way under warranty. The entire process was smooth, and I really appreciate the excellent customer service. Highly recommend Universal Mitsubishi's service team--especially Paul--for their outstanding support!
2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
Luckily, I stumbled across a $7500 instant rebate along with a $5000 above trade-in value for my car. I purchased the SEL trim with leather, adaptive cruise, lane assist, power driver seat, etc. No sun roof, which I did not want. 19" tires for a little better mileage. I am absolutely impressed with this car and feel very safe on winter roads (AWD), especially in winter mode. I find no fault other than it lacks a rear windshield wiper, Which I would prefer to have. Extremely quiet and comfortable ride.

Van Nuys Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram review
Alex and Juan from the Service department are amazing! My boyfriend dropped off his vehicle this past Saturday for an inspection. We returned later that evening for an update, and Alex let us know that their mechanic found an issue. Alex mentioned that it would take a few days to resolve, considering it was the weekend. During this time, Juan was already in the process of getting a rental started without being asked! Simply amazing! Alex has truly gone above and beyond to take care of us while our vehicle is being serviced. He has kept us updated the entire time, and we never had to worry or feel stressed through this process. We can't thank him enough for his patience, kindness, and phenomenal Customer Service. This location has a gem of an employee, and we hope that he is recognized! Thank you, Alex! And thank you, Juan! We look forward to working with you again.

Volkswagen Thousand OaksReviews
Volkswagen Thousand Oaks review
A year ago I bought a new ID buzz and overall, the experience has sucked. This 5 star review is specifically for Francisco in the service department. Since day 1 of owning the brand new ID Buzz, the brakes have been TERRIBLE - squeaking and grinding every time I brake. I had brought the car to the Thousand Oaks dealership and the Woodland Hills dealership multiple times for the issue. I had been told that this is a normal problem, the metals they need to use in CA are going to squeak no matter what they do, the hubcaps were designed poorly so there isn't enough ventilation to remove dust and debris from the brakes, that it is my responsibility to be washing the car more and removing dust and debris on the brakes, and overall my complaints had been 100% dismissed. Finally, I gave up and just decided the car is a xxx and I will have to live with it. I brought the car in for unrelated issues and said nothing about the brakes. After this visit, Francisco brought the brakes up to me, noting how horrible they are, which I said I know, but it seems thats just how the brakes are and will always be. He said absolutely not, that is not normal and can be fixed. He is the ONLY person at VW who has actually CARED. He kept me in the loop of the whole process and completely FIXED the "unfixable" brakes. My brakes don't make a PEEP since he fixed them, they truly have not made a single noise since. I always wanted to love the ID Buzz and now I finally do!! I can't give enough praise to Francisco, it is so refreshing to be helped by someone who actually cares. Victor was also very helpful along the process of getting them fixed. Thank you guys! In my opinion, the only two people at VW (Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills) that actually deserve a 5/5 review. :)

2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
The Ioniq is a lot of fun to drive. The ride is smooth and it has plenty of power. If you are someone that likes technology it has a lot to offer. If you are not tech savvy there will be a learning curve. Things that I don't like about the car is 1. No rear windshield wiper so it has to be clean frequently in winter or dirty environments. 2. If you live in a cold environment the efficiency is greatly diminished if the heater has to be run constantly. Overall great car so far.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
Fantastic car. Awesome looks. More room than a m3 or mY. I've had a limited for almost a year and not one single problem. Usually get 225-250mi from a charge, but actually had a couple of 275 and one 300 when most driving was city and I resisted the temptation to punch it. Makes me smile every time I drive it.

Keyes Hyundai of Mission HillsReviews
Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
5 Stars for Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills I recently brought my 2021 Hyundai Elantra to Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills after having ongoing problems following an engine replacement performed at another Hyundai dealership. I came in because of a rattling noise and excessive vibration from the engine compartment. What impressed me immediately was that the Mission Hills team actually took the time to diagnose the problem rather than simply guessing at it. They found excessive play in the engine mount, determined that it was causing the excessive vibration, and replaced the engine support/mount under Hyundai warranty at no charge to me. The repair corrected the problem. I was especially happy to discover that several people I knew from Parkway Hyundai are now working at Mission Hills. I had worked with some of these people previously, and it was great to see familiar faces who treated me like a customer rather than just another repair order. Their inspection also uncovered several other issues that concern me following the previous engine replacement, including oil leaks, a previously repaired engine-harness/throttle-body connector, transmission cooler hose concerns, and missing underbody components. Mission Hills documented these conditions with photographs and provided me with a detailed inspection report. Unfortunately, my experience with AutoNation Hyundai Valencia has been very different. After the engine replacement there, I experienced a series of problems and ultimately brought the car back because of the vibration and rattling. I was not satisfied with the diagnosis or the customer service I received there. Another mechanic pointed me toward the motor mount, and Mission Hills subsequently confirmed excessive play in that mount and repaired it under warranty. I’m not claiming that every issue Mission Hills found was caused by AutoNation—the cause of those individual conditions still needs to be determined. But after seeing what Mission Hills documented, I have serious concerns about the quality of the previous work and how my subsequent complaints were handled. The difference in customer service was night and day. Thank you to Ian Archer, the technician, and the Mission Hills Hyundai service team for taking my concerns seriously, properly diagnosing the vibration, documenting what they found, and getting the warranty repair handled immediately. This is the kind of service I expect from a Hyundai dealership. Mission Hills Hyundai earned my future service business. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Ian the service advisor and Hoveck the Service Manger. They have my business from now on. The AutoNation service manager said he was too busy to address my concerns and to come back tomorrow . Bad move Philip Salas !

Westlake Hyundai review
I’ve just gotten my first car and am SO glad that I came to Westlake Hyundai. My parents have been in the car business for many years, so I have of course heard just about every horror story there is about buying a car. My experience was amazing! Everyone is beyond welcoming and helpful. Eric and Carinsa made the process incredibly quick, smooth, and painless; and James was so kind as to walk me through the features of my vehicle. We practically signed and were on our way! Everyone here at Westlake Hyundai have definitely made me comfortable and excited as a new driver. I will always be a customer, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I love my new Elantra <3

Keyes Hyundai of Mission HillsReviews
Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
I had a great experience at Mission Hills Hyundai! The dealership is new, clean, and modern, and the service was fast and efficient from start to finish. The entire service team was great, but I want to give a special shoutout to Ian Archer. A friend recommended that I specifically ask for him, and I’m so glad I did. Ian genuinely cares about his customers and their vehicles. He took the time to explain the necessary repairs, recommended maintenance, and what needed to be done to keep my vehicle in good condition. I felt confident that my car was in good hands throughout the entire process. We even purchased another Hyundai Kona, and I will definitely be bringing both vehicles to Mission Hills Hyundai for future service and maintenance. Although Hyundai Van Nuys is closer to our home, I prefer Mission Hills Hyundai because of the customer service experience. Unfortunately, my past experiences at Van Nuys left me feeling that the service advisors were rather cold toward customers and sometimes recommended additional services that didn’t seem necessary or were not yet called for in the vehicle’s maintenance schedule. Great customer service makes all the difference, and Ian is an excellent example of that. If you need service or maintenance for your Hyundai, I highly recommend Mission Hills Hyundai and strongly encourage you to ask for Ian Archer. He will take the time to explain things clearly and make you feel that your vehicle is truly in good hands!

Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
The Amazing Positive Experiences I have received in 2026 by the KEYES MISSION HILLS HYUNDAI SERVICE DEPARTMENT have made me rethink what Quality in Service Truly Is and Should Be at Automotive Dealerships Nationwide. Most of the time, we are all provided reasons why you should never use the service dept at a dealership...High Prices, etc. Keyes Mission Hills Hyundai has completely redefined what Excellence in a Service Department is and Should Always Be. From the smallest of requests to a Full List of Warranty and non-Warranty repairs, the Service team of HOVIK and JAIME have consistantly went Above and Beyond that of ANY automotive service group I have EVER experienced in my lifetime. Issue after issue was handled with Courtesy and Professionalism and at a Very Fair Price. I say all of this and I do not live in California. I Live In Kansas City, Missouri. As a Long-Distant Customer (Father) who has never stepped foot in this dealership, this Service Department treated me (And my California-Based Daughter) with the Utmost Respect and Dignity. Thank You Keyes Mission Hills Hyundai for your Dedication To Excellence!
2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I've had my Ioniq 5 for almost 10 months. I chose to lease the car because 1) the EV technology is changing so quickly and 2) to make sure an EV was the right vehicle for me. So far, I've been very pleased with almost everything about the car. At an 80 percent charge, I get 270 miles consistently. The car came with free charging at Electrify America charging stations, but I've yet to use one as I charge at home which costs me virtually nothing as I have a solar panel array that provides plenty of energy for my home and car. The ride, for the most part, is comfortable (the seats could be a little more comfortable). There are plenty of features that I appreciate (all of the warning sensors come in handy, the voice system is good and Bluelink works well). The only downside (for me) is that I got the standard long range edition which gets in excess of 300 miles on a full charge but is missing some of the more refined options (mirrors that fold in when parked, power lift gate, driver seat memory, etc.) If I had to do this again, I would have gone with the next model up. My lease will be up in March of 2026, and unless there is something that I think is better in the EV space, I'll be leasing another Ioniq 5.

CarMax Escondido review
I had the car I wanted transferred in and from start to end they kept me informed. The waiting period was a bit of a bummer, but knowing that my car was arriving made it worth the wait. Ryan was super he completed the transaction and put us in good hands. We had a minor defect with the windows but Ryan made sure it was taken care of . Overall we were quite pleased. We're definitely getting a second car with them . Lidia

LeSueur Car CompanyReviews
LeSueur Car Company review
Almost too fast! 10 days from start to delivery; Good customer service, nice people! Oh wait, that's a 15 word MINIMUM... now I feel silly trying to cram all the good details into such a short statement. (facepalm) The entire experience was painless and fast, as noted; when my credit union balked at working with them they found me a competitive rate with someone who WOULD. They got documents to me quickly, and the car... well, through no fault of his, Steven LeSueur missed that the transporter picked the car up (on memorial day??) so I only got 24 hours notice that it was showing up. I was so used to those things taking forever I was off-balance for a few hours, but hey, that's what I consider a high quality problem. Speaking of which, the shipping cost was very reasonable, especially considering I saved about 6K getting the car there instead of locally. They gave me a great deal on EXACTLY the car I would have purchased if new, and getting that 4K tax credit up front made my life simpler and the loan even smaller than I was prepared to deal with. What's funny is my daughter and many friends live in Phoenix, so they now have a bit of a Northern CA booster with the locals. Oh, and there was no trade-in, so don't take the low rating as a slam; I just had no experience with it here. :-D
2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
This car is seriously underrated. The ride is exceptionally smooth, and my AWD model is surprisingly quick. The technology is outstanding, especially the heads up display and the highway driving assist, which makes long trips less fatiguing. Ultra-fast charging is outstanding and turns road trips into an easy, enjoyable experience. The interior is cavernous and well-designed. To me the Ioniq 5 stands out as one of the best EVs available today.
