I went in to have a routine oil change today. The service was excellent, the concierge crew were very attentive Erica, who helped set up the appointment was knowledgeable about what was taking place. The service was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and I was on my way. The process went very smoothly. Thank you Erica and the service team.

It’s a great car however I do not feel like “things are conveniently “ located. When driving, I struggle with finding the defroster, or adjusting the entertainment system. Perhaps with more time, I will get used to it.

INFINITI of Lubbock review
Awesome dealership, traveling from Colorado Springs back to San Antonio. I reached out to Logan and explained to him that I was interested in the white Escalade he had on the lot. The only issue is that I was driving through Lubbock on a Sunday and the dealership is closed on Sunday’s. Logan went above and beyond and literally opened the dealership on a Sunday during abnormal business hours. This kind of customer service and hospitality is rare especially coming from a big city. We tip our hats to Logan Anderson and David Abbott and the Mcgavock team for making our car experience welcoming and valued . Most importantly taking the time to answer our questions and a smooth process. We highly recommend the Mcgavock team for your new or pre owned purchase we will be definitely be back for our next purchase great job.

I returned the car within 7-days after purchase and the process was fast, smooth, professional, and everything they advertised it would be. They just checked out the condition of the car, and said that I would have my down payment returned in roughly a week by mail.

I have had mine for 5 years now and the only issue I had was that my engine did go out luckily it was right before the warranty expired, it has 68k miles at the time, However the service i received from the dealership was impeccable to say the least. I havent had any other issues with this car and it is soooo fun to drive and very fast.

Brown HondaReviews
Brown Honda review
I can?t praise enough the service department from Southwest Honda and in particular service manager Steve Parrish: He saved our vacation and more. On a Wednesday in July my wife and I were driving from Plano, TX to Denver, CO to visit our daughter driving our 2003 Honda Odyssey when just before Amarillo our transmission `blew up?. We had it towed to Southwest Honda. A new transmission + labor would be about $5900. Originally agreed to it, and we got a nice Honda CRV as loaner car to continue our (3 day) vacation in Denver. But next morning I called Steve Parrish and explained that this was too expensive for us, especially because the car had >161k miles and I was `between jobs?. He diligently went looking for a second hand one but only found one with 144k miles. So he suggested to have a company specialized in rebuilding transmissions have our transmission rebuild. That would be less than half the prize. But the car could not be ready before we drove home from Denver to Plano,TX. Without hesitation he offered to keep the loaner car and take it home. Today (3 weeks later) the car was finished by the transmission rebuilding garage and my wife drove this morning to Amarillo to swap the loaner car with our Honda. Steve then took my wife to the garage who rebuilt the transmission. Cost (payable to the transmission workshop): about $2750. Cost charged by Steve Parrish: ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, NOTHING! Even with ALL the effort he did for us and using the loaner car for almost 3 weeks and 1600 miles. AMAZING. Five stars is not enough to express my gratitude. I consider to drive all the way from Plano, TX to Amarillo if we are in the market for a new Honda. Kudos, Steve and Southwest Honda.

2018 INFINITI QX80 review
I came to this car from a 2016 Yukon which was a rolling dumpster fire. At 102k miles, I haven’t had a single failure with this car. It tows extremely well, the seat comfort is by far the best I’ve ever owned, I don’t love the exterior styling, but its such a great owner experience that it doesn’t matter. Maintenance is like owning a Camry, cheap and infrequent. AWD system makes driving in all conditions a breeze. Great vehicle.

2018 INFINITI Q50 review
Drives and handles very well on the road. The only surprise was during purchase. I expected it to have a Bose sound system like my G35 had, and the automatic front seat and steering column. On my G35 these two systems moved in unison and had memory for the position of the seat and steering column that could be set for two different drivers. The only other thing is the absence of a spare tire. Those run flat tires ride very hard and are not cost effective for owners.

James and Scott at Freedom Motors are exceptional to work with! This as been the best car buying experience I have ever had! Every car on the lot is the best of the best for used cars and we actually came to see a different car than we ended up purchasing! No pressure, easy to work with and no haggling to get to the best deal we could have asked for! Keep up the good work!
2025 INFINITI QX80 review
I recently purchased a 2025 Infiniti QX80 at an excellent price. Even at full price, it offers good value in the full-size luxury SUV market. After one month, here's my assessment. Strengths **Styling**: The QX80 features elegant exterior and interior design that outshines most competitors. The Navigator's redesign was disappointing, while the Wagoneer lacks refinement. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The third row comfortably fits adults with easy access, and cargo space is generous, especially with seats folded. **Towing**: All models can tow 8,500 pounds, above segment average. Only Wagoneer models with Hemi V8s offer more. Weaknesses **No Homelink**: Inexplicably lacks the standard garage door opener system. Instead uses "myQ," requiring compatible equipment and Wi-Fi. It works roughly 20% of the time for closing, 50% for opening. **Missing Trailer Brake Controller**: Despite strong towing capacity and pre-wiring, it lacks this essential safety feature that the cheaper Nissan Armada includes standard. **No Rear Sunshades**: A premium family vehicle should include this feature, common in less expensive SUVs. **Limited Storage**: Few interior storage options beyond a modest console and small pass-through. The Autograph trim's "cool box" reduces console space by half while offering minimal functionality. **Software Issues**: I've experienced two significant electronic failures already. Once, the infotainment rebooted while driving. More concerning, at 1,200 miles, the dashboard, HVAC, and air suspension failed simultaneously—a potentially dangerous situation. Uncertain Factors **Reliability**: Infiniti typically outperforms Nissan, and Japanese production suggests quality. The VR-series engine appears promising, but competitors have documented issues too. Air suspension systems generally develop problems after several years. **Resale**: Likely below Lexus but competitive with Navigator and slightly below Escalade. Verdict I'm satisfied with my purchase, especially given local dealership availability and favorable pricing. The electronic issues create some concern for long-term ownership. For shoppers prioritizing style, value, and driving dynamics who can accept some feature omissions, the QX80 deserves consideration in this competitive segment.
