2019 Jeep Compass review
I love driving this car! I have a 2019 Jeep Compass trailhawk and it has been great for my daily commuting and for my road trips! It’s a big of a gas guzzler though, the gas could be better. The Auto stop doesn’t seem to make much a difference gas wise. The only problem I had with this car was a rock in the radiator, which unfortunately is how I purchased it without the dealer noticing! When I took it to the dealer they swore up and down that nothing was wrong with it. I was furious, they kept my car for 2 days just to tell me they couldn’t detect anything.I took it to a mom and pop shop and it took them 10 minutes to tell me it was the radiator. Once I got that fixed, the car has been running fine! I love driving it, it’s off road capability is pretty impressive! It has a good amount of features as well. I also got it for a pretty low price, which is awesome!

They wiped down the keys every time they handed them to me, they wore masks, and the Finance Manager had a glass screen in front of his desk. I felt safe there.

2018 Jeep Compass review
I,ve had several Jeeps and Subarus and Chevys and my Compass Latitude 4x4 is as good as any for around the city and my freeway trips. Better than the Subaru for the highway and offroad. Mark was my salesperson. He was knowledgeable and did not give me the "car salesman" feeling. He listens and pays attention to your remarks. I was very satisfied with the buying experience. Hertz gives great deals on those used cars, I did not even negotiate. The facility is comfortable but looks like a trailer with AC that does not need to be blasting! While the finance guy (bought my car cash) was very nice and courteous, the buying process could be shorter. Although this is not due to Hertz's financial service, but to the number of documents we have to sign. I have to point out that it was much faster at Hertz than at my previous dealership. So to conclude, go there, buy it, and drive home.

2022 Jeep Compass review
Bought this 2022 Compass Trail Hawk new for my wife. Earlier this year (2025) we landed a sweetheart deal on a new 2024 Wrangler Sport S. Guess who inherited the Compass ? I stepped down from a Grand Cherokee but I have no regrets. It has had a few electrical teething issues but all have been resolved and have not come back. The handling and fuel economy are much better than the Grand Cherokee. There are only 2 downsides..........the size of the gas tank (13.5 gal vs 24.5) and the cargo space behind the 2nd row seats. I have easily adapted to both ! I want to give a shout-out to our local dealership, Tri-City CDJR. Start to finish, an excellent place to purchase and maintain our Jeeps. BRAVO ZULU !

2020 Jeep Compass review
We own two 2018 Compass'. We have bought 3. We bought a 2007 brand new. It was a great car for 10 years and it got totaled. My wife currently drives a 2018 Compass and I just bought a second 2018 Compass yesterday. She drove a 2017 Ford Escape for while and didn't like it so we went back to the Compass. These are not without there issues. My wife's transmission started to get a hard shift last summer at around 55k miles. We had the trans fluid changed and currently at 65k no issues, no hard shifts. The dealership says that it is a "life time fluid." I don't agree. Find a good mechanic and have the trans fluid replaced every 30k miles and you should be fine. It cost much less than the one thousand dollars the dealership wanted to change it. I've also heard that the 2.4 liter Tiger Shark engines eat oil. We've own my wife's car for 3 years now and have not noticed any oil consumption. It's our travel car, and my wife travels a little for work so it puts on the miles. Smooth ride easy to drive for long trips, a little wind noise but it's not bad. The interior is nice. It actually has just a little more cargo space than the Cherokee. Infotainment is okay just a few quirks that I don't like but nothing major. The sound system is in my opinion one of the best. They changed the body style in 2018 and I think it's a really good looking car on the outside. The one I just bought is white with a black roof and blacked out badges and rims. Overall it's a great car and they are affordable. Do you research and make sure it's got a good service history. Best of luck!

2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. The rep came out with the keys ready for us to test drive. We came back Halley and they were able and willing to get the paper work rolling. We left extremely happy with every aspect of the experience. They even picked up my trade in Which happened to break down on the way to trade it in. They came and picked it up anyway. 2020 Jeep Compass review

To my own mishap of making the wrong assumptions to an otherwise 5-star experience. For new car buyers, please read your paperwork carefully and never assume. With all things considered, I would give my experience purchasing my new Corolla at Mossy a 3.5-star. The experience was positive because: 1/ My sales rep Cliff (1) kindly provided me a ride from a nearby car rental to their dealership, (2) was willing to readjust our appointment, (3) offered me a fair price and interest rate, which is greatly appreciated. 2/ The moment I walked in the dealership, I was immediately attended by this lady (sorry I don’t know your name) who was very kind and lovely. It made me feel at ease and well-respected. The process could have been more stress-free and pleasant if Mossy: 1/ Had a comprehensive inventory of cars readily available for test drive, finish the paperwork, and take the car all in one-visit. 2/ If more than a visit is needed, I would appreciate if Mossy can share the warranty & optional add-ons in advance instead of having me made the decision right on the spot. Even though the outcome likely be the same (me purchasing a valid, truly cost-saving security + warranty package plan), the means used to reach that end are worlds apart. Whenever I was forced with a “limited time offer” or “only this time offer,” it’s hard for me to feel confident in deciding because I did not feel prepared. The experience would have been a 4.5 or close to a 5-star if I was not put under such unnecessary stress which can be easily avoided/ minimized if the information is offered (either via phone calls or emails) days in advance. For something that was listed as below: Individual plan: Security system, $720 5Y/55K warranty, $1605 Package plan: Security system + 5Y/55K warranty, $1655 It would have been a much more positive experience if Tom EXPLICITLY clarified that despite the security system and the 5Y/55K warranty were individually listed as $720 and $1600, respectively, when they were bundled together, please DO NOT ASSUME that the security system is now only $50, with the 5Y/55K warranty stays refundable at $1605. I wanted to sign something that I actually agreed to (security system for $50 + 5Y/55K warranty for refundable $1600), not something I thought I agreed to but turned out to be falsely misunderstood (security system for $1030 + 5Y/55K warranty for refundable $625) and later consoled that it is still a pretty good plan. 3/ Avoid using multiple thus confusing abbreviations like TSRP, MSRP, DSRP, SRP. Confusion >>> distrust >>> negative experience >>> negative review, zero referrals, or clients never coming back.
2022 Jeep Compass review
I have had my 22 High Altitude for about 4 months now and the only issue(s) I find are the following: MPG is not as advertised, it's not that great. It's around 24 average, I am about 50/50 city/highway driving - It's fine. It DOES ride like a Jeep - so it's not as "luxurious" as your higher end cars, but YOU BOUGHT A JEEP - The last snow storm we had in Cleveland was about 10" in 2 hours - No problem, even with 235/45/19 tires - Would be way better with not so wide tires. It's slow. Who cares? Are you driving in the F1? Nah - It's plenty. Interior is baller. Infotainment is great, comfortable. Heated steering wheel is a plus. IDK - I read these reviews and everyone is so picky - It's a nice ride. If you find you like it, give it a shot.
