On Sunday, August 2, 2026 my granddaughter and I had an amazing experience at Folsom Lake Nissan. I purchased a 2026 Nissan Sentra SR for my granddaughter who will soon be leaving to attend college at a university in the state of Louisiana. Go Jags! A brief note on how the purchase became a deal. My granddaughter made a phone call to Folsom Lake Nissan in order to verify if a specific vehicle was in stock, Sebastian Galaviz answered the call and informed her that it was in stock and if she liked to come by for a test drive he would have it waiting for her to see and drive. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sebastian with a big beautiful smile and firm handshake and a direct walk to the vehicle as promised. Sebastian is an outstanding salesperson—professional, he is kind, and very friendly. He worked as a team player with two other outstanding gentlemen Mike and Nathan. They all carefully listened to our desires and truly worked hard to remain focused on helping us get the deal we wanted with absolutely no pressure. The three gentlemen friendliness, professionalism, and honesty created a family-oriented atmosphere,and with that experience, it made the whole buying process smooth and enjoyable. 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I just love everything about my 2021 80th anniversary edition G/C! I purchased new but now has 81000km. So much enjoy all the style comfort with no issues. So much more reliable and better looking than the new body style that was released later in 2021.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
This is my first Jeep I have ever owned. I always liked the looks of the Grand Cherokee. I’m happy with the vehicle. No complaints except it does like to drink gasoline. My previous 4 vehicles were all 8 cylinder full size pickup trucks. The Jeep being a 6 cylinder eats more gas. The Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good looks, drives well, comfortable and safe.

2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
What a great look. I have bought several cars and trucks over the past few years, from 2 trucks for me and helped the family with other cars. I wanted to get something for looks and the 2025 Grand Cherokee fit the bill. Style and looks, 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Good on the mileage and performance. Great dealership and people at Ray's CDJR in Fox Lake. They treat you like you should be, with respect through the entire process.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
I special ordered my 2021 4 dr Sahara in Feb of 2022 and received it 4/1. I have previously owned 4 JK models over the yrs. The 2021 I just love. the interior appts, the dash layout with the nav. I got the upgraded leather seats and paint color white with One Touch Skyview top. Got the 3.6 with E torque for powerplant. They improved on the brakes vs JK. Much stronger!

2021 Jeep Compass review
I had a really nice 2022 Chevy Equinox RS last year, but due to my commute over a mountain pass during winter, I was afraid it was going to get trashed. I decided to trade it in on a 2021 Jeep Compass Limited, believing that it would be a more rugged option. I am so impressed with my little Compass! Its leaps and bounds over the Equinox in my opinion. The Compass is more responsive, more comfortable and definitely more solid. I love how my doors unlock when I reach for the door handle. I love the tight turning radius (I’ve owned two Wranglers), and I absolutely how it handled compact snow and ice on the highway in Montana earlier this spring. I felt extremely safe driving my little Jeep Compass, whereas the Equinox always felt like it was “lightweight “. The only “bells & whistles” the Equinox had that the Compass lacks, is the remote rear door release on the fob and on the driver’s door and maybe the 9-speaker Bose sound. As long as I can listen to my memory stick with 5k+ songs with all 8-speakers working, I’m happy!! The mileage is comparable; the Equinox had a 1.5L 4 Cyl w/turbo and 6-spd transmission; the Compass has a 2.4L 4 cyl w/9-spd transmission, and I like having a little more meat under the hood. The Equinox is considered a mid-size SUV, Jeep Compass is a little smaller and rated as a “compact” SUV, however cargo capacity (cubic inch) is equal. The seats in the Equinox were very short under my behind, only extending halfway between my butt and my knees, if that, so long trips were not super comfortable. The shorter seats did allow for a little roomier cabin, which my husband liked, but since it’s my vehicle… yeah. I absolutely love my Jeep Compass Limited. I really wanted a Trailhawk model, and I might trade up to that version later, unless I can afford another Wrangler or ultimately a Gladiator. Summing it up, I am a Jeep Girl, and while I initially thought the Compass “isn’t really a Jeep”, I have happily been proven wrong. I refer to it as a Baby Jeep that wants to grow up to be a Wrangler Unlimited.

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
This is the best Jeep Wrangler model ever made. The past YJ, TJ, JK models are great, but this Jeep JL 2018 Wrangler Sahara Automatic V6 is the best one yet. The comfort and modern amenities are top of the line. The 8” infotainment head unit and Alpine sound system is out of this world. The interior fits my family of four and has enough cargo space for a stroller, scooter, Onewheel XR and beach chairs. The exterior needs no introduction with its iconic round headlights and seven slot grill. Followed by a three piece removable top, which I managed to take off and put back on by myself. FYI, don’t try doing this by yourself. My final favorite thing about my Jeep JL is the ability to customize the Jeep with all of the amazing aftermarket parts and pieces. This allows you to take the best looking car on the road and make it your own.

2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Approaching 25,000 miles and we haven’t had any issues. I actually enjoy choosing whether to run on electric or gas based on what my journey is. If you just put it in hybrid mode, you’re not utilizing the efficiency of the engine. My advice, think about your journey. If I’m jumping on the highway to then head into the city, I run it on gas on the highway then switch to all electric in the city -no point wasting the electric with highway driving! Then I use up the last of my electric when google tells me I’m X miles from home when I still have X miles of electric remaining to use it all up. When we just do local drives less than 25 miles (grocery, day care pick up etc.) we can literally run off electric only for days, even weeks. It just takes thinking about what your journey involves. Crawling traffic for a 5 mile slow down ahead, I’m on gas until I hit that traffic, then switch to electric. We’ve taken this Jeep (Willys) through plenty of winter storms with feet of snow and ice, never needed to use chains with its AWD or 4WD to choose from. Hopefully the great reliability continues.

2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. 2020 Jeep Compass review
We own two 2018 Compass'. We have bought 3. We bought a 2007 brand new. It was a great car for 10 years and it got totaled. My wife currently drives a 2018 Compass and I just bought a second 2018 Compass yesterday. She drove a 2017 Ford Escape for while and didn't like it so we went back to the Compass. These are not without there issues. My wife's transmission started to get a hard shift last summer at around 55k miles. We had the trans fluid changed and currently at 65k no issues, no hard shifts. The dealership says that it is a "life time fluid." I don't agree. Find a good mechanic and have the trans fluid replaced every 30k miles and you should be fine. It cost much less than the one thousand dollars the dealership wanted to change it. I've also heard that the 2.4 liter Tiger Shark engines eat oil. We've own my wife's car for 3 years now and have not noticed any oil consumption. It's our travel car, and my wife travels a little for work so it puts on the miles. Smooth ride easy to drive for long trips, a little wind noise but it's not bad. The interior is nice. It actually has just a little more cargo space than the Cherokee. Infotainment is okay just a few quirks that I don't like but nothing major. The sound system is in my opinion one of the best. They changed the body style in 2018 and I think it's a really good looking car on the outside. The one I just bought is white with a black roof and blacked out badges and rims. Overall it's a great car and they are affordable. Do you research and make sure it's got a good service history. Best of luck!

I’ve owned this for 2.5 years, I bought it because it was as jeep and allowed me to drive it in electric mode. Few problems. I drive it almost exclusively in electric mode. Yes, there are times when electric is unavailable but that is due to not putting gas in for a long time. Once I even put in 2-3 gals. good to go.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe review
There is a lot of new technology working together in this car so i recommend a extended service plan. That being said this hybrid Wrangler has more power, quieter (got hard top insulation), and smoother riding (I have a Sahara High Altitute) than the Rubicon ICE previously owned. So far at 19k miles no mechanical issues.

My granddaughter made a phone call to Folsom Lake Nissan in order to verify if a specific vehicle was in stock, Sebastian Galaviz answered the call and informed her that it was in stock and if she liked to come by for a test drive he would have it waiting for her to see and drive. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sebastian with a big beautiful smile and firm handshake and a direct walk to the vehicle as promised. Sebastian is an outstanding salesperson—professional, he is kind, and very friendly. He worked as a team player with two other outstanding gentlemen Mike and Nathan. They all carefully listened to our desires and truly worked hard to remain focused on helping us get the deal we wanted with absolutely no pressure. I just love everything about my 2021 80th anniversary edition G/C! I purchased new but now has 81000km. So much enjoy all the style comfort with no issues. So much more reliable and better looking than the new body style that was released later in 2021.

My dream car since a teenager was a grand Cherokee and when I finally got one in 2021, I’ve loved it the same ever since. They are bold in appearance and look like a strong vehicle.
