2026 Kia Sportage review
Honestly one of the best vehicles I’ve owned so far. My Kia Sportage has been super reliable, comfortable on long drives, and surprisingly good on gas. The interior feels modern and spacious, and the ride is smooth whether I’m driving around town or on the highway. Haven’t had any major issues with it and it’s been a great daily driver overall. Definitely recommend it if you want something practical that still looks nice and feels good to drive.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. When we had an appointment, they were on time - at most dealers, appointments seem to mean nothing, but not Tasca. Helpful, friendly, professional staff. Comfortable, new showroom. My Kia Sportage Xpro has more electronic toys than necessary but, it doesn't include A door mirror adjustment that is electronically automatically adjusted to the driver and the mirror adjustment button isn't even illuminated.

I have the SX Prestige model and I love my car. I love just about everything about my car from the numerous tech feature to the huge dashboard. My Sorento ended up at Wagner Kia after the engine blew on Highway 90 while returning home from a vacation up north. We were still over 200 mi. From home. The vehicle was towed there in our abscence and everything was dealt with by emails and phone call between me and my service rep. MikeRodenbaugh. I knew it would take time but asked to please just giv me good communication.he totally did. Two months later the car is almost like new. Took a while to get the parts but once they were in the repair was made within the week. mike was super communicative and reassuring and I could not be happier with the work done. Also had some other repairs done while there and the prices were very reasonable. My car drove home like a dream, all 220 miles in one shot! Everyone at the dealership was very nice and friendly and my pickup was quick and pleasant experience. Highly recommend , wish they could be my regular dealership!

2023 Kia Sportage review
after tons of research, started looking at the Kia suvs/sportage..I had driven Lexus RX, few other different luxury brands..I loved Kia’s warranty, 7r/10yr wow….even though owned cars and they NEVER required repair, but I do maintain and take care of my vehicles, first foremost regular oil/filter changes and sometimes even skipped a service check…so decided to test drive, I was pleasantly surprised it handled well, cabin quiet, hugs the ride, awesome sound system by H Kardon, suspension felt good( unlike last Lexus) it has all the bells and whistles, safety features. pep when needed, and gas mileage 27-up as high as 36 mph with sensible driving…oh yes 2 rear passenger has plenty of leg and head room, reclining rear seats even for 6ft + passenger was amazing surprise.. cargo area good size.. just could not find anything that turned me off the vehicle…so I bought one, and no regrets..

2023 Kia Sportage review
I've had this car for nearly 2 years but have less than 7.000 miles on it, so maybe this isn't a fair judgement, but so far, it's been great. I got the basic gas model. No problems. Had one weird thing where i didn't realize that I couldn't move the car AT ALL with the door ajar, and the car freaked out & seized up! But once I figured that out, and learned how to use all the tech, it's been great. It actually turns out to be a bit small for my needs, but other than that, great . . .

2024 Kia Sportage review
Our 2024 Sportage X Pro Prestige AWD suv is possibly the best suv we've ever owned. Only owned it 1 month, so really early in the ownership phase. Love the upgraded trim line's interior, the really wide display screen and the wolf gray exterior paint with the black top! Ride is very smooth and the 30.2 MPG average is very acceptable. On the highway only, get closer to 35 mpg. Recommend it to a family of 4 or less. Only downside is that it has much less pep starting out from lights; good thing we are retired and not in a big hurry! LOL

On November 25, 2023, my husband and I visited Ron Bouchard Kia with the intention of replacing his 8-year-old car with a new Kia Sorento. Being our first time at the dealership, we were uncertain about what to expect. Fortunately, we were warmly greeted by Jackie, who proved to be exceptional! She patiently walked us through the car's features, addressing all our questions with clarity and enthusiasm. Jackie presented us with various options from their inventory, and even offered to arrange swaps with other dealerships if we couldn't find our preferred car on-site. Importantly, she assisted us without exerting undue pressure to finalize the sale. After test driving the car and falling in love with it, we returned to the dealership. Jackie seamlessly guided us through the documentation process, and we proceeded to speak with the Finance Manager regarding leasing options. The deal we reached left us satisfied. Despite spending the entire afternoon at the dealership, we didn't realize we were the last customers in the store. Jackie patiently waited for us to complete the paperwork with the Finance Manager before bidding us farewell. Two days later, my husband returned to the dealership and returned home with our new car. Overall, the entire transaction was remarkably straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception and the ease of doing business. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Ron Bouchard and would gladly consider doing business with them again in the future.

What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
