I have purchased new and used cars before, from different dealerships all over the Atlanta area. A total of 10 counting this one. Plus 2 bikes, but I'm not counting those. I have had absolutely TERRIBLE experiences, and I have had okay experiences. This was, without a doubt the best of them. What made the difference- Sam Rangel. My wife shopped around online and found a van she wanted to look at, and it happened to be at the Hardy Superstore. She went by herself to check it out. She met Sam. Sam was the opposite of what many come to think of when they think of a used car salesman. Sam was very kind and helped her. He listened to her and genuinely desired to help her find what she was looking for. I know most good sales people are like that, but there are some that don't have a customer service quality to them, but Sam does. She never felt pressured. Sam made us feel like he was on our side of things- whether it was the vehicle, the negotiation, the financing, or whatever. He was our representative. I love looking at cars, and investigating them, but absolutely HATE haggling and the actual car buying part. Sitting and waiting forever, going back and forth. Then when you are done, you have to wait for the vehicle to be cleaned and gassed...ugh. Did I say I HATE car buying? So this time, I done the whole deal with Sam through text messaging! A first for me. Whenever I asked for something, Sam replied. Sam's manager, and Finance closer- Mitch Feraco made a great team. And he had the van ready so when we got there, we signed and drove away! So, if you find a vehicle at the Hardy Superstore, or need someone to help you find one, call Sam Rangel- you wont regret it. The first deal was done over the phone until I drove over to make the trade, sign the papers, then drive home my new Elantra Hybrid Limited. The second trade was done completely remote, with a driver bringing the new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid to the house along with the paperwork to sign. The driver drove off in my wife's CRV hybrid.

The only reason I give Carrollton Hyundai 5 stars is because there is no way to give them a 10. We already owned a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that we loved. As happens, we developed some difficulty with the key fob. We went to Carrollton Hyundai because it is much closer than the dealership, we had previously delt with. As soon as we entered the facility, we were greeted by John (sales manager) who asked if he could help us. He fixed the problem in nothing flat. There was no judgement nor laughing at a couple of old folks who didn't understand new technology. Just a friendly smile from a man who had to reposition the battery which had been inserted upside down. John didn't just walk away; he walked us to our car and thanked us for coming in. There was no high-pressure sales pitch, just a friendly reassurance that if we had any more difficulties feel free to come in to see him. Because of the friendliness, we decided to return a month later to consider purchasing a new vehicle. We met Devin before we could even enter the building. He didn't "Jump" on us like most salespeople, just a friendly greeting and an offer to be of assistance if needed. We had done our homework and explained to Devin what we were looking for and what we were willing to pay. He didn't try to push us into anything other than what we wanted. He did, however, explain that he had two options that might fit our needs. In fact, he even offered us a financing option that would allow us to purchase the vehicle we wanted for even less than we had anticipated. While we finished the necessary paperwork, Devin had the vehicle completely detailed inside and out. He even had the gas tank filled. A lot of dealers give you just about enough gas to get off the lot. Devin explained that we had 5 days to return if we decided we didn't like the color. We returned to tell him the color (red) was just fine, but we needed a little help with some of the technology. He answered all our questions and made sure we understood his explanations. Then Devin took us down the street and around the corner where he filled the gas tank again. In my opinion, you can't beat the professional at Carrollton Hyundai.

2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

2025 Kia Soul review
Excellent vehicle except the standard headlights are terrible. They are not bright at all. Even on high beams they do not light up the road adequately. I am looking into adding additional led light sources to supplement the head lights. Unfortunately they dealer tell me they cannot swap out the halogen bulbs for led ones.

I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted to test drive and had an appointment with Jean (John) Venant on December 27th. The car (2024 Mazda CX-5) was waiting for me when we arrived. Our salesman was a great guy & seemed knowledgeable about my particular vehicle. It didn't take me long to decide to buy the car on the spot. Baltimore in the financing department fought very hard to get me the best rate/deal available. They even gave me far more for my trade in that I was anticipating. Everyone throughout the (seemingly painless) process was great to work with. We felt very valued. My only "complaint" is the sticker shock I had when I saw all the "dealer fees" on the bill of sale. Many things (window tint, fabric protector, etc) were all things that you only typically see when buying a brand new car and not when buying a used car. And, with any used car purchase, I made sure to get the extended warranty. That's just smart no matter which dealership you buy from. However, I am concerned a bit to read very mixed reviews of the EasyCare warranty company, as it seems they only approve HALF of the claims submitted. Fingers crossed.

2020 Kia Stinger review
I have had my 2020 GT for 2 years now and have only had scheduled maintenance done and thats pretty much it the only issue i did have was that trunk rattle butt quick fix added rubber washers and that disappeared !! GREAT EVERYDAY DRIVER gives a SRT xxxx on the DIGGGG😂

2021 Kia Stinger review
The Stinger GT Line (4 Cylinder Turbo) is fabulous. It has plenty of get up and go. When merging onto a highway, you look at the speedometer and you can't believe how quickly you have hit 100 MPH. The MPG at only 22 is a little disappointing. However, I do usually cruise at about 80. Reliability with the exception of one thing (which I will get to) has been excellent. I am 6' 1" tall, so getting in and out of the Stinger without bagging your head is a little difficult (that is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 for Comfort). I do regret not going for the little extra cost and buying the GT (instead of the GT Line). The GT does have a few extra standard options which I now wish I had. Now.... the only real negative about the vehicle. I took delivery on March 1, 2021 and since that day... still until today (July 19, 2023) my Apple CarPlay will NOT stay engaged in the vehicle. Sometimes it does not engage at all. Sometimes, just for a short while. Sometimes constantly engaged and disengaging. Sometimes, it engages for the first leg of a trip and not for the return leg of the trip. Sometimes it engages for days and then, it does not engage for days. There is no rhyme or reason for whether it will or will not engage. Kia has changed the radio, the USB Port (this is WIRED [NOT wireless] Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay) and the radio harness. They cannot find a fix. Kia has admitted that they there is a problem and the Engineers are working on it. This has been an ongoing problem for more than 2 years. This is the major reason why I have not rated the vehicle 5 out of 4 stars.
