1999 Lexus ES 300 review
smooth reliable but ugly car runs well. Alot of minor maintenance required. Only ran well with synthetic oil. When using traditional oil it burnt oil n it was black when using synthetic it stopped any issues with the oil and lasts 9500 miles & no nasty fumes

2000 Lexus GS 300 review
I purchased my 2000 Lexus GS300 a year ago, with 251,000 miles. Let me tell you, I have had nothing but great times in this car every time I drive it. With such high mileage one would think it's a dog but it's not. It has the inline 6 cylinder 3.0 2jz! Powerful and best running motor. The only problems I have had to replace is the O2 SENSOR, and a sensor in the transmission. All I did on my own, also replaced the alternator. Now this car is fast stock, smooth ride and luxurious interior. This is definitely a reliable car would recommend everyone to buy a Lexus in the GS series. GREAT CAR!!

2000 Lexus LX 470 review
Thinkin about that new RX350? Well consider the '00 LX 470. The 2000 Lexus LX 470 was Toyota's more plush alternative to the 100 series Land Cruiser, but don't be fooled by that majestic real wood and leather interior - this is probably the most capable car ever, period. The 3rd row seats have enough room to snooze for endless drives. The 4.7 Liter V8 sounds quieter than a breeze. The Nakamichi sound system is as close as you'll get to a mobile nightclub. Sure, the V8 may be quite mediocre, at only 230 bhp and 330 lb/ft torque, but keep in mind - the V8 is INDESTRUCTIBLE - LITERALLY. Our car was bought at 266,000 miles, but that really doesn't matter. GET ONE ASAP.

1999 Lexus GS 300 review
Owned only 4 cars in 40 years of driving, none can beat this car. Now at 350,000 miles and humming like new. Original west coast car, now Boston for 10 yrs, no rust still. Just about finished w replacing what needed to be beyond typical maintenance; suspension, calipers, generator, ac compressor, even the engine compartment computer. Was told it would need work after 300k miles and this was true. Dealer says its the oldest they have seen in Boston. A truly solid luxury car. My mechanic says it will go to 500k at least.

1996 Lexus LS 400 review
Absolutely my favorite car ive had and ive owned over 20 vehicles. Hands down. I got it up to 155. And it was very reliable up until it was smashed by a rear ending. But it still ran for 6 months. Gas mileage was crap but we dont buy v8s for economy.

1999 Lexus LX 470 review
I was reluctant to test drive it at first because it wasn't what I came on the lot to see. It was almost 20 years old and I didn't know anything about them. But the moment I hit the street on the test drive......it was mine. I have never enjoyed driving a vehicle as much as I enjoy driving this. Heated Seats, leather stitching on the steering wheel , and LAWD all the gadgets....and they still worked. The gas mpg will be a bit of a shocker at first, but to me it's worth it. Lexus really got it right with the 1999 LX 470.

1997 Lexus SC 400 review
Driving this car was pure pleasure! Sporty hold the road performance. Always hugged that curve. One of the most comfortable cars I've ever driven or been a passenger in. Back seating is very marginal, but what the heck everything else was perfect. Love, love, loved the memory seats. Sound system was great too. Couldn't find anything bad to say about this car. Too bad Lexus discontinued this line. My car died in an accident, I'm in mourning, and looking for a replacement.

1999 Lexus LX 470 review
I bought this vehicle new in late 1998. It now has 356000 miles, engine runs like new, doesn't use a drop off oil between changes, (Mobil 1 5W-30). 4-wheels through sand, mud, snow fantastic, (all 4 wheels locking differentials). Fantastic on long and short trips. Expensive on gas and parts, (when needed). Love it!

Joe was my go-to guy at one of the lots where this vehicle I was interested in is they have four lots in Des Moines. It's always wanting to come up there and have the vehicle taken to another shop nearby and pay to have it inspected so I can find out what it needs and decide if I wanted this still purchase it with whatever it needed and that was no problem but they wanted me to fill out the credit app online and that was cool and Danny but there's no reason to pull a hard hard copy of my credit report if I'm coming up to go look at the vehicle because if there's more things that need to be done to where then I want to put into it I probably wouldn't do the deal and I'd have a hard thing on my credit report that I wouldn't be able to get taken off so other than that them telling me to go do that even though they knew I wanted to get it checked first was my only irritation. But something came up and I had to register another vehicle that I have in my personal access right now so I may have to wait a couple months before I want to go up there and do that but my job allows me to travel all over so I might get to go up there if I can this month and check out the vehicle to see if it's something that I really really want before someone else gets it so yes Joe I appreciate you working with me and look forward to consuming this business transaction soon. I bought a new 1990 Lexus ls400 when they first came out in 1989. Wonderful car. Drove it until 2000 and never had a single problem with the exception of a light bulb going out.

2001 Lexus LX 470 review
Rear ended in a blowing rainstorm at 70+ mph such an impact as to bend the chassis to ground level st the receiver hitch. All the doors were jammed and the door frames crumpled. My wife suffered a cracked vertebrae NO OTHER INJURIES. A LIFE SAVER. 1999 model LX 470 w 148,000 miles. Shop carefully and BUY a nice used one. Safe-comfortable but not cheap. How much is a child's life worth ??? Sammy
