2021 Mazda CX-30 review
We've owned the 2021 CX-30 for 2 years. It feels solid, well built and provides good value. Gas mileage is good at 30mpg combined. On the negative side, the ride is a bit jittery. And the battery tends to act up if you don't drive the car for at least 15 minutes at a time. The dealer explained this is necessary, because all the technology and chips that are packed into it need more time to warm up - which is a dubious assertion. But it is what it is. Will be trading for another Toyota hybrid, which in our view is the gold standard based on 11 years experience with a 2010 Prius.

Just had a great experience at Modern Mazda of Burlington. Had called about a problem with my beloved Mazda. Drove over and a very kind gentleman in the service department came out and fixed it on the spot. You can't ask for better service than that. My next Mazda will come from Modern when the time comes.

2021 Mazda CX-30 review
Beautiful, finely crafted vehicle. Nothing else comes close to the quality and value for the money - or for even significantly more. Great fuel economy. I’m not a CUV guy ( This is my wife’s car ), but the ride and the handling are especially impressive for a “tall” vehicle. In a sea of clunky, uninspiring designs this vehicle is truly elegant. Very happy.

Impex Chevrolet GMC review
I was very pleased with my experience with Impex Chevrolet. I found the vehicle on line and was able to put a down payment on it also on line. I made arrangements to drive 3 hours to the dealership from my home in Virginia, and met with Marqus Brooks, the salesman handling my sale. He was very courteous and professional. He was able to explain different options available to me regarding extended warranty, and assisted in completing the sale. Since I didn’t have a trade in, I was able to put a sizable down payment and financed the balance. The truck was freshly washed, and had a full tank of gas. I appreciated doing business with them, and would do it again in the future.

I bought this car new about 10 years ago after contacting about eight Toyota dealers. They were the only one that accepted my offer. This is the only service department that maintains my car except what I do myself. When I needed new tires a few years ago, their price was competitive with other tire stores. My service today took less than 45 minutes with two updates. Top-notch communication and service managers.

2026 Mazda CX-30 review
I owned a Mazda 3 Touring for 9 years, and due to an accident needed a new hatchback vehicle. Initially I was trying for a hybrid, but the hybrids made by Mazda were too big for my garage, so I tried Toyota and Honda models that would fit. Having been spoiled by my previous Mazda, my expectations were high, and all these cars were a disappointment for various reasons. And given I drive low mileage, it would have taken many years to recoup the cost of a hybrid vs whatever fuel savings they could provide. So in the end, I went back to Mazda and tried the CX30-Preferred AWD. Fell in love with it the moment I got in. For the money, it offered the most features, safety and otherwise, as standard, for a price that was truly affordable. Lots of bang for your buck. The vehicle design, construction, interior materials and organization just shout quality, excellence, reliability and safety. Mazda truly lives up to its reputation for amazing attention to detail throughout the vehicle. The unique Mazda design and AWD solidly hugs the road around curves, giving a great sense of control without feeling heavy. The car is about the same size as my Touring, on the smaller side, so it's an easy fit into the garage and small parking spaces. AND there is the crossover height and power front seat, making it easy for getting my old bones in and out of the car. I love the central display position and operation either by voice command or using buttons on my console rather than touching the screen. There is a learning curve, but once mastered, works very well on Android Auto with my phone. The only drawback is that my phone doesn't seem to charge - the dealer said that can happen with Androids. But that's a minor point for me. The cargo area is slightly narrower than in my Touring hatchback, but with the back seat down, it's comparable and more than adequate for my needs. Plus, Mazda has these wonderful soft cargo mats you can purchase that protect the back of the rear seat and the rear bumper when you are loading up. Sturdy and well made, the materials are great quality, and the mats are easy to install. And then there is the easy to use and well organized 'My Mazda" app to customize functional settings, perform all kinds of things remotely and check the status of various items about my vehicle, manage maintenance schedules, etc. I've had the car now for almost 4 weeks and have taken a couple of long road trips - and I have to say, every time I get in it, I am absolutely delighted with my choice. I feel really safe driving it, am loving the quality, ride, common-sense design and organization of the central and operational displays, AND the moonroof which was also standard. If this review sounds over the top, it's because this vehicle deserves it, believe me....it's a great vehicle for seniors like me especially. No reservations at all in recommending the Mazda CX30 AWD, Preferred.

2020 Mazda CX-30 review
I purchased this car after getting hit head on in my Mazda MX five, which was totaled, but thankfully protected me from serious injury. I’m a big Mazda fan having owned a brand new Miata for 20 years prior to trading it in for the MX five. I looked at BMW, Audi, Lexus, Mercedes, and several other type SUV vehicles and chose to purchase the CX 30. I love the size and the nimbleness of handling. The reliability of Mazda’s can’t be beat in my opinion. I have essentially had no issues after buying this car brand new in December 2019 and still owning it as of spring 2024. Other than the normal maintenance I’ve had zero problems. It is easy to park maneuver and has good storage. If someone has really long legs and it’s going to ride in the back seat, they may not be perfectly comfortable. There are several things I wish I could change. One the size of the key fob is too big to fit into small purses And pockets. The center console top opens weirdly, and if you have the back seat full of items, it is often impossible to get into that compartment. It would be better if it open side to side, as is more traditional than tilting to the back where there isn’t adequate clearance when the backseat is full. The only other thing I wish is that it had electric seats. I also find that the shoulder strap on my neck given my height, and it would be very helpful if the shoulder strap was adjustable for people who are not tall. I agree with the reviews describing the easiness of the entertainment system. There is very little not to like about this car. I will definitely buy this model again.

The best car buying experience I have ever had. Steve Lynn respected my budget, learned my needs and wants, and found me the perfect car which also was certified. PLUS Flow offers an additional limited warranty at no extra charge. Took the worry out of choosing a car. I am pleased with the entire experience. Owned the car 5 months. Very happy with interior comfort and the stowing/storage space in the rear. The sound system is impressive. Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. I appreciate the lane indicator features. Great small SUV

RESPECTFUL, HONEST, CARING, CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY, PROVE THEY CARE, PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL, ABOVE THE REST, MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, and most importantly TRUSTWORTHY!!! (BEST car buying experience I have EVER had!) If I could rate higher than 5 stars I WOULD! This is by far the BEST place to go when you are looking for a vehicle! I was having a difficult time finding the car I wanted, and Kevin & Ms. Frankie WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!! They stayed several nights past closing with me, made phone calls to the banks, and they were honest with me every step of the way! I went into the dealership inexperienced, and a young woman who did not know much about financing a vehicle. Ms. Frankie sat down with me, explained all the different options, and let me know what she thought would be my best option. Their focus was not on getting me a car that would put more money in their pockets, but what was my best option considering the value, price, interest rate, and refinancing... and making sure I left out the door feeling happy and comfortable with my purchase. It is very difficult to trust a salesman, when you know the ultimate goal is to make a sale, but these people are GOOD TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE! If I lived out of town, I would travel in the future just to deal with them, as that is how comfortable I feel with them. I would recommend anyone I know to go see KEVIN and MS. FRANKIE!!! I had a few issues and concerns, and they did not have to help me but they did! I had already purchased the vehicle, and noticed a few things that had me concerned. Instead of telling me they couldn't do anything about it since I had already purchased the vehicle, they looked it over, agreed with me, and offered to fix everything! I would like to stress, they did not have to do this, as I already made the purchase, but it is clear that they value their customers and uphold the standards of the vehicles that they sell!! Ms. Frankie stated her ultimate goal was to have me and my husband happy with what we got, and she not only said that, but put it into action! They gave me a loaner vehicle while the vehicle I purchased was being repaired. If they were trying to scam me, they very well could have, however they did the right thing and allowed for me to pick a different vehicle or give them the chance to fix everything I was wanting fixed. Like I stated, I had already purchased the vehicle and didn't realize a few things until after the fact (that they were also unaware of), and they were extremely respectful and willing to help! I had an issue with one of the tires, and Kevin met me well after they closed on the side of the road to help me change a tire, and then they ordered me all new tires because of the inconvenience. I was SHOCKED at that act of kindness I was not expecting! I don't know any other car salesman you could call at 8:45pm at night and they come meet you to help you put a spare tire on your vehicle, after spending hours with you at the dealership already. It is truly amazing and unbelievable at how great of an experience I had, I could not say enough great things about this dealership and the people that work there. If you question the validity of anything I have stated, I am not related to anyone here, just met them last week, and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions on my experience!!! YOU WILL FEEL LIKE FAMILY AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN THE DOOR...it's a place like no other!!!!!!!!! Respectfully, Nicole Rose

So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

2026 Mazda CX-30 review
So far the car is great. I do like the design of the CX30 more than the CX5, however, I love the full sunroof on the new CX5. I didn't think I would be able to get that in the CX30 but come to find out I could but I would miss out on the Bose speakers. I went for it and the standard speakers are good enough. They lack base is about it. As far as the shopping experience goes it was the best I ever experienced. I purchased the car from Hamilton Mazda in Hamilton NJ and the salesman was on point. Easy peezy. Mike Rees is the best salesman to date. I wasn't there all day, and he really worked with me. My credit isn't the best and the finance office did what they could to make it happen. Thank you for your professional services Mr. Rees and the Hamilton Mazda crew.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. Good luck.

I am again impressed with my 2018 Hyundai Sonata that I bought in 2017. This morning, an inattentive man at a stop sign was making a left turn and pulled out right in front of me. I quickly slammed on the brakes. I could feel my ABS pulsing and my car stopped just inches from the man’s vehicle. I love my car! If it ever happens that I need to replace it, I’ll be back to see Michael Silberman at Sport Durst. Louise Dillard ( Linwood’s wife)

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Purchased the base CX30 in June and just reached 2500 miles. I like the 16' standard rims as new tire purchases will be less costly. The car has plenty of room up front and in the hatch, however, rear leg room is minimal. The 2.5-4 is adequate, but definitely gets up in Sport mode merging on the highway. I like the stiffer ride from the torsion bar rear suspension, although that has been a complaint from some reviewers. The interior appointments are premium imo, and I prefer the infotainment system not having the touch screen. Great little car (GLC).

2024 Mazda CX-30 review
I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

2024 Mazda CX-30 review
The turbo is remarkable feat of engineering. 227 HP from regular unleaded and torque that leaps right from the get-go, maxing out by 2500 rpm. 29 MPG on a trip with 2 hours of highway and 1.5 of city stop & go. Add 93 Octane and you get 240 HP and change. Very responsive steering and suspension. The Premium Plus will spoil you rotten. THAT SAID ... the gas tank is tragically under-sized. Good luck getting to 300 miles even on a well-behaved week of driving. Though 2 gallons remain when the panic lights up on the dashboard, you won't know how much you've used of it thanks to zero=2 gal on the gauge. Also, at 1 of those is just used to keep the fuel pump cooled. We've wrestled for months now over whether it's even safe to drive around these parts with a measly 275 mile range.

CarMax Raleigh review
The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. CarMax made me an amazing offer for it, and helped me pick a the SUV of my dreams that was within my means! Affordable, beautiful quality, it looks and smells BRAND NEW - no one would ever suspect it was used!! The buying process was so simple and quick. My sales guy, Scottie, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He didn’t put on any pressure, made everything extremely easy to understand, and let me take my time! I am just so impressed and happy with my experience. When it is time for another upgrade, I will certainly be going back to check out what’s on their lot FIRST before anywhere else! If you’re looking to upgrade your car and/or sell your car definitely GO TO CARMAX!!!!!! -Proud Owner of a Nissan Rogue
2026 Mazda CX-30 review
The 2026 Mazda CX-30 is the intersection of driving comfort, performance, and style. But the best part? Value. Mazda continues to push the boundary of delivering an exceptional vehicle for the price. From the interior to the exterior, this vehicle drives circles around the competition. The premium Bose sound system, AWD, Skyactive Engine, 360 degree camera, rear folding seats, and power lift gate only scratch the surface of what the CX-30 has to offer. Additional features such as heated seats, heated steering wheel, turbo, and premium interior materials, this vehicle can suit any style. Built to deliver an engaging driving experience, the CX-30 is a blast to drive. The CX-30 is more akin to a sporty hatchback than an SUV, so if ample room for rear row passengers is what you're looking for, the CX-30 isn't going to fit the bill. However, if rear seating room doesn't concern you, this car should be #1 on your list, as it doesn't get much better.

This is my baby! I absolutely love this car! It handles beautifully and very comfortable to ride in. I got the select because we wanted the 18” wheels. It has better braking capability. It also has a 2.5 - 4 engine. Radio is the only con because there is no antenna. But none of the new cars have one. Overall, this is the very best car for us and highly recommend it to anyone who prefers a smaller SUV.
