All work required to make my vehicle repairs and checks complete and correct we’re performed to my total satisfaction while I waited in the comfortable customer waiting area as work was supervised under the outstanding guidance of Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. He is well trained, experienced, intelligent, and dedicated as I have seen first hand when he has worked with me. My review is based on a recent purchase of a used CX-30. Overall, my experience was that the sales team was organized and knowledgeable and everything was well communicated and pretty seamless throughout all phases of the purchase process. All of the paperwork was straightforward and made sense and the finance guy, I forget his name, was great to work with as well. My salesperson Justin was very friendly and helpful as was the sales manager, Dan. In fact everyone in the dealership was super friendly and tried to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I had negotiated a repair of a scratch in the paint as part of the sale and it was done quickly and very professionally. I would recommend buying a used car from this group.
