Getting into the process of getting a replacement commuter car, and this shop has set the bar. Easy going. Let me take the vehicle for a ride on a Saturday afternoon. While I am not convinced about the vehicle, I will be checking to see what else they have on the lot that meets my needs. The way car shopping/buying should be.
My experience with the sales person Chris was excellent. The finance people however changed the price I agreed to. I signed a paper on the floor, but when the papers were presented to sign the price was much higher. I noticed it and complained. They said there was a ???mistake??? on the previous quote. Well if there was a mistake they should have been open about it. I think it was a bait and switch The paperwork is confusing and they clearly changed the numbers by $6000 between what they agreed to on the floor and what they presented in the office to sign.

I went to Seacoast Mazda to look for my next vehicle, and I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. Not only did Jack go above and beyond to make it happen and make it realistic/stress-free for me, he was simply a kind, straightforward guy. Not sales-y, Jack got me into my dream car for an amazing price and gave me a killer deal on my trade-in. I had never visited this dealership before, but now I can see why it has so many awards. Stopped in impromtu on a Saturday with my family. Test drove 2 Mazda???s - CX-3 and CX-5. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. Not pushy at all, let me take my time test driving and making a decision. Explained lots of the car???s features & upfront about price differences. Very patient & genuine salespeople. Family-owned dealership, would recommend to my family & friends.
In an impersonal world of car shopping where profits are more important than people, Seacoast Mazda stands out for its personal, low key sales approach. I have just purchased my second car at the family-owned business where I have come to feel like a member of the family because of the great care I have received, both in purchase and in maintenance of my last car. While business is not done on a handshake in this 21st Century, Seacoast feels like that old-time sort of place. I bet if they could sell cars on a handshake, they would do just that. You could take them at their word. When purchasing this new car, salesman Ryan knew just what I wanted and when I arrived to see the car he picked out for me, I didn't even look at a second one....I took a test run down the highway and zipped back to the dealership, signed the papers, and thanked Ryan for "getting" me. I am off and "running" and happy as can be. Nice to feel like a person and not like a number. And...great car!

Buying a car here was super easy. Ryan made it very simple for me and I bought the first and only car that I drove. I went in thinking the process was going to take forever but we were in and out of the dealership very quickly.
From the moment we entered this dealership our salesperson was friendly, courteous, and found just what we were looking for. Jack Callahan was very knowledgeable about our particular car and introduced us to Service & Management staff.
I had test driven a Ford C-Max Energi in 2014 and completely fell in love. I knew that was the next car for me. But unfortunately do to timing and circumstances I was not able to buy one. Still, I knew this would be my next car. Whenever I would have a bad day, I would go on Ford’s website and build the car I wanted with all the options and colors choices I wanted. I even saved one of them I had built in a pdf file to reference when I didn’t have internet connection.
This year when Ford announced they would no longer be producing the C-Max in the US I knew it was time for me get my dream car. I went to a local dealership and got the run around. They said since the car isn’t being produced, they can’t get the car with all the options I wanted. They tried to get me to compromise. I felt uncomfortable and pressured into something I didn’t want to do. I left in tears thinking I would never own the Ford C-Max of my dreams.
Then my boyfriend called and said he found a nearly new one in New Hampshire in the exact color with all the options I wanted. He started making the calls on my behalf. Craig the sales representative was always available and even though the transaction was made across states, made me feel like I was sitting right in front of him. The entire Portsmouth team did their best to answer all my questions. Signing the paperwork was seamless and easy. They even set up delivery from NH to TX. When my car arrived before I thought it would, I was overjoyed and estatic.
Thank you for everything you did to make my dream a reality. You really are the best. I’m a Portsmouth customer for life.

I visited this used auto dealership a little apprehensively - had recently gone to a dealership specializing in used inventory and my experience was not much to write about. From the time I met with general manager Justin DesPres to the end of my visit I could not have been more impressed! Although I did not leave having made a purchase, its my intention to do so in the next 7 days (had to firm up some details before purchase). Justin is clearly prepared to do business - he was much more motivated and knowledgeable than the previous place I visited.
Nice guys with some good cars for good prices. They provided Carfax. Was able to test drive and have my mechanic check it out as well. Worked out well, would strongly consider buying a car from them if the price and timing is right.
