I get around 26mpg in highways. City it's around 20mpg. Easy to drive around and looks great. Premium interiors. Nice pick up and sports mode boost makes it even more fun to drive! No maintenance issues for my 2022 CX-9 yet.

Flew to Lexington from Central FL to buy our Ford Edge. Moved to FL in 1999, but always go back to Strong Auto to buy vehicles. My wife and I have purchased 4 vehicles from there. I bought my 2018 F - 150 there last year and the Edge in December. Love both vehicles. Sales staff there have been great each time we have been there. The owner and Mgr Kris went out of their way to make our purchases great. Worked to find the best financing available, beating other dealerships that we visited at home for comparison. Despite this being the final year offered (the CX-90 will replace it soon) the CX-9 is still a looker. The 6 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the 2.5L turbo has plenty of power to move this 4200 pound AWD, SUV. Seats are very comfortable in both first and middle and I keep the third row folded down leaving a good sized cargo area for hauling groceries, 50lb bags of birdseed, softener salt and anything else I need to carry. And I absolutely love the way this thing handles! It feels far more like a nimble car than a 3 row SUV. The 12 speaker Bose sound system is clear and powerful. The cabin is very quiet at all speeds. The ride is firm but solid and comfortable. Not a squeak or rattle. I have the Carbon Edition and I feel it looks as fresh as any new three row mid-sized SUV out there. I traded my 2019 Ram Limited (an incredibly luxurious truck for the Mazda and I was concerned about adapting to a smaller vehicle but the CX-9 is everything I could have hoped for. I would recommend anyone who enjoys driving and has to occasionally carry some bulky stuff to consider one of these before they're gone.

Overall, I’m in love with this car. I’ve had it for a little over a year now after purchasing it used with 140000km it’s happily taken me over 550km consecutively, has literally climbed out of every situation a car shouldn’t have, including a ditch, and hasn’t needed any maintenance other than your basic oil changes and flat tires (likely due to a surplus of burnouts). Whoever wrote that this car is isn’t fast likely hasn’t driven this car because Mazda go zoom zoom and before I hit maximum acceleration I ended up gravelplaning at 180. Also for a four cylinder this motor has an amazing take off and refuses to redline!(Thats a really good thing.) Lastly, my check engine light has been on for the entirety of my ownership.

I love it! Bought it new in 2020. Grand Touring Reserve with the turbo in Soul Crystal red metallic. I'm currently at 56k miles with zero issues. I do oil changes every 5k miles. Originally I test drove a CRV, RAV4, Forrester, and CX5. I picked the Mazda bc it looks, feels, and drives like a luxury SUV. 320 |b/ft of torque for a compact really gives it the edge over anything else in the class. Four years later and it still feels as solid as the day I bought it. The handling's amazing, and the ride is great! Some people have called the ride firm but I would say it's super compliant. It settles very quickly over bumps without feeling upset. The Bose system sounds "good" but only has bass and treble adjustments with no mid which would make it even better. The ventilated seats work better than in other cars I tested as well. It's also one of the quietest too letting in very little wind and tire noise.

Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

Great car. I have turbo version and it is very fun to drive. I do wish it had a larger gas tank. I get about 300 miles out of a tank of breast.

I bought my 2017 Mazda 6 Touring new, and have absolutely loved the car. It looks amazing, the interior feels like a much more expensive car. It's also fun to drive- agile, smooth, athletic. It's not a "fast" car per se, but it's fast enough, and has great chassis dynamics. It has been bulletproof, not a single issue with it. Gas mileage is quite good, too. The only criticism I have is that the original tires were too noisy. I switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 season, and they are much better.

Owned the car 5 months. Very happy with interior comfort and the stowing/storage space in the rear. The sound system is impressive. Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. I appreciate the lane indicator features. Great small SUV

A joy to drive. The turbo gives a smooth punch of pickup. Don’t feel the speed! Interior is compact and efficient and steering wheel and seats warm up fast at the push of a button. An absolute pleasure to drive.

Drives like it looks, sharp and smooth. (It’s faster than you’d expect) and I haven’t had any problems or issues with it mechanically. Bought it new in 2019. It’s been paid off for 2 years now and I Still own it…I Didn’t buy it to carpool, and thankfully I don’t have kids. My fiancé and I traded in our ‘07 Mx5 5spd and bought the 2019 Cx3 Gt AwD mostly to take on road trips and it’s been perfect for that. But it’s been used to do all sorts of things. It currently has 47k and it’s doing just fine. It’s the perfect sized car for a normal couple with normal hobbies. Don’t compare it to something it’s not like a 4Runner or a Cx5 and you won’t be disappointed or have anything negative to say about it. BTW it was recently voted “Car of the Decade” by Driven (NZ)

I am originally from central Kentucky but now live in South Carolina. When I am home, I always make sure to stop and get my car serviced at Strong Auto. When I make my next car purchase, I won't go anywhere else other than Strong Auto!

Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

Great car overall! Everything feels very high quality and ride experience is sporty and tight but still comfortable. But there is one pretty big issue with this car and it’s the infotainment system. Probably the glitchiest infotainment system I’ve ever used. But this shouldn’t be a huge issue for you if you value the driving experience more than the electronics

We ended up buying our CX-9 once we finished the end of our lease since we have enjoyed the car so much. Currently, our mileage is around 50K miles & we've only had 2 issues so far: check engine light would not go off (emission's issue) and a GPS issue. Our GPS could never locate our car and would show us miles away. The dealer was able to fix both issues. We love the way how solid the car feels on the road and the inside/outside look of the car. Perfect for a family of 4-5 since the 3rd row is tight.
