Used Mazda cars for sale near Griffith, IN

Purchased a 2021 sedan premium plus turbo AWD in 2022 with 11,000 miles. THE BAD: At 17,000 miles I discovered the front end would wobble when I applied the brakes. I was told by the dealer that I needed front and rear rotors and that the cost would be $1,000. When I asked why I needed brakes at only 17K miles I was told it was because the rotors must have gotten wet when I drove through a puddle when they were hot. Really? He obviously thought I was an idiot. It ended up costing me $600 to have a local shop do the work including an upgrade on the quality of the original factory rotors and pads. At 29,000 miles the car left me stranded in a parking lot when the battery died. A replacement battery cost me $280. At 30,000 miles the original manufacturer tires were badly worn and needed to be replaced (and yes I rotate them in fact EVERY oil change as opposed to every other). I purchased 4 Michelin tires which cost me $1,200. Also at 30K miles a rock came up from the road and cracked my windshield causing me to spend my deductible to have it fixed ($500). Nobody's fault I understand, just one more expense with so few miles.I have also noticed that I often get a "safety and driver support systems temporarily disabled" notice. It seems to be random but is annoying nonetheless. Shouldn't be happening at 32K miles. At 29K miles I apparently hit a pothole and the front rim was badly bent. The cost to straighten the rim was $140. The lane departure safety feature is annoying. Every time I even begin to leave my lane it violently pulls me back. Even when I need to go around an object in the road it pulls me back. Also, the tone associated with lane departure only works when it fells like it which is probably a good thing. Another issue is that it takes forever for the interior to get warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The car needs to warm up for at least 15 minutes before the temperature gets where I need it to be. The problem with that is that when using the remote start through the Mazda App, it only allows the car to run for 10 minutes. Also, you can't make any adjustments to the temperature from the app. ... THE GOOD: This vehicle is a blast to drive! It sounds great and it has plenty of power and I am still in love with the exterior appearence. The interior is done so well and as YouTube car reviewers say, "it's a great place to be". It has every option I would every want except for wireless Apple car play. It handles great and the AWD seems to work really well in slippery conditions. Currently I am at a crossroads. Do I sell my Mazda3 while the value is still high and get something else or do I keep it and hope nothing else goes wrong? I really like the car but I want to love it. One issue is the fact that when I purchased it I got 2.9% financing. I would be lucky to get 6.9% with todays rates. Also, if I sold it what the xxxx would I buy that has all of these features, a turbo engine and AWD that wouldn't cost me $35-$45K?!

I was in and out in less than an Hour. Everyone was very pleasant, the paperwork was explained in detail. They allowed me to leave my other vehicle there until someone took me to pick it up. From the time I entered ti the time I left I felt very comfortable.

I did an extensive research on Japanese SUV’s and I kept coming back to the Mazda CX5. This vehicle is beautiful inside and out and is amazingly smooth and quiet. It also has really good handling and plenty of power even with the 4 cylinder. I think Mazda gives the best bang for the buck of all the Japanese car brands. I highly recommend the Mazda CX5.

So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

I am very surprised to how well I was treated at this dealership working with John Q. I had gone to other dealerships and they pressured me to buy so I left but when I got to West Chicago Auto Mall, I felt zero pressure and decided to do business with them because of it. They have so many cars and the best prices in town. I would highly recommend to my friends and family to come here and buy a car! Financing was great. I love it! Bought it new in 2020. Grand Touring Reserve with the turbo in Soul Crystal red metallic. I'm currently at 56k miles with zero issues. I do oil changes every 5k miles. Originally I test drove a CRV, RAV4, Forrester, and CX5. I picked the Mazda bc it looks, feels, and drives like a luxury SUV. 320 |b/ft of torque for a compact really gives it the edge over anything else in the class. Four years later and it still feels as solid as the day I bought it. The handling's amazing, and the ride is great! Some people have called the ride firm but I would say it's super compliant. It settles very quickly over bumps without feeling upset. The Bose system sounds "good" but only has bass and treble adjustments with no mid which would make it even better. The ventilated seats work better than in other cars I tested as well. It's also one of the quietest too letting in very little wind and tire noise.

I bought myself a Christmas gift, a new CX5 SignatureTurbo the day after Christmas and I absolutely love it! I don't' know why I didn't get one sooner. I have always been a Toyota, Lexus guy, but I must say this classy vehicle beats the others. Why, let's start with the interior. Mazda makes some of the most beautiful interiors! Exteriors too!! The fit and finish are superb! The CX 5 is extremely quiet and smooth riding, and I can honestly say it is quieter than any Lexus I have had in the past. There is also the fun factor! If you haven't tried a Mazda, you need to. They are a driver's car and fun to drive. The trim level I have has the Bose system and has a beautiful surround sound. Crank up the volume and it's awesome! The safety features are excellent, and everything is conveniently located. There is no need in paying for other Luxury cars when you can get a Mazda and save thousands, and they are the best keep secret out there. Luxury, fun, good looks for much less. I am definitely staying in the Mazda family.

Purchased my 2020 Mazda CX-5 while actually shopping for a Nissan Rogue. I Purchased from a Nissan dealership which I'll never do again if I ever purchase another Mazda. The vehicle was listed for $23,899.00 with 23,633 miles. Love the power and over all handling of the vehicle. The Machine Gray Metallic color is awesome as well.. Read alot of good things about the CX-5 as well as some horror stories. To soon to tell with just owning it a little over a month but hoping for the best time will tell..

We were loyal Subaru owners previously but were forced to look at other car makers when the 2025 forester had problems and recalls. The 2025 Mazda cx-5 was the most similar car, with no recalls or issues. We were pleased with the price and ready availability, made the jump from Subaru and haven't looked back. We owned several Subaru's previously and never had any issues with them - our most recent was fifteen years old. As retirees, the new safety features like the backup screen and warnings for blind spots are terrific. I just hope the Mazda proves to be as problem-free. Also, the Mazda CX-5 was highly rated by our insurance co. and lowered the cost of our insuring our new car.

Mazda is comfortable, I'm in my 70's Reliable, rides great, great on gas. Something that is great on the road, Able to handle, I've handle: M-6 sadan, SUV 5, big enough good room ,and M-cx30 and 3. All long distance traveling. And not high maintenance. Good for all season

I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

I love my 2014 Mazda CX-5. It is technically a 2014, but apparently no 2014s on Cars.com to review. It is so reliable—requires just basic maintenance like oil changes, new windshield wipers and tires as you’d need on any vehicle. Handles well, even on snow. Wish it had a turbo engine, but it’s plenty fast and not an issue. Never had any big expenses or surprises. My only 1st world complaint is the outdated/cumbersome GPS system and it sometimes doesn’t connect to my Bluetooth when trying to play Pandora—but the phone has never been an issue. I may look for a newer to me CX-5 just for something new to drive! My step-son may be the lucky one in line to drive the 2014 CX-5 next!

Well I am really not sure this is legal but Mazda and many other manufacturers charge you monthly for an app that controls the vehicle. Remote start etc. I purchased this vehicle and I'm sure they already charged me in the purchase price for all the options it has. How can they charge me $10 a month for the rest of the years I own this vehicle just so I can remote start and see other information about the vehicle? It is like I sell you a kitchen and after a year if you want to open the doors you have to pay monthly for an app to do it. This is totally ridiculous and a scam. Say Mazda or any other car manufacturers sell 20,000,00 cars and all the people that bought them pay $10 a month to use the app they make an additional $200,000,000 for just use of the app. Well this is in my mind an absolute tragedy and should be illegal. Shame on them and all car manufacturers. I found an option to fix this. It still should not be this bad but anything to not pay these corrupt people any money. I found an aftermarket kit to fix this permanently for just over two years of monthly payments. It is called Startz, you can purchase on Amazon and install yourself. Good Luck

Bought my Q7 in for a recall service and once checked was told that I have 2 recalls for my vehicle and both would be attended to at the time of service. The knowledge and accommodation for service is what keeps me believing I made the right vehicle purchase.

Owned the car 5 months. Very happy with interior comfort and the stowing/storage space in the rear. The sound system is impressive. Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. I appreciate the lane indicator features. Great small SUV

Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. Great Used Car Purchase Jacob Rocks! Bought 21 Tacoma from them. Had the best price in country for my truck. Jacob the sales guy and Rob in finance got me the best rate pretty much a new car rate on a used truck. I didn’t buy a warranty because of the fact that Toyotas don’t need one but the price on the warranty was crazy inexpensive. I’ve bought well over 100 cars and trucks in my life… never have I said yes to a dealers number I am king LowBall… I said yes to their price great trade value great price on truck and great rates. Whether you’re an enthusiast or not, you will enjoy this thing until the wheels fall off. Now, if you’re an enthusiast, or just someone who loves the feel of the road underneath you but needs something fairly practical? This is the car for you. With ample power, and steering feel that would put some sports cars to shame, you will feel confident, and often joyous when behind the wheel of the CX-5, especially with the Manual version that came in the “Sport” trim! Although that engine is suggested to be fairly gutless. However, if you prefer the automatic versions with the larger engine, like in my Grand Touring trim, you will absolutely be able to enjoy the road, regardless of the local speed limit. The CX-5 may not be the fastest car in its class, but it surely is the most fun, and the best value among its competitors.. but it’s mainly just fun. I recently got my CX-5 at my local dealer, and it has done nothing but get me to work when I want it to, taken me on small trips to wherever I want, and without any real complaints. Only times it gets annoyed with me is if I need to pass anybody at highway, but that’s what makes it so much fun to live with in my opinion, especially with the little rev-happy 4-pot motors that it can come with. In conclusion, if you want a sub-compact crossover.. but also want the feel of Mazda’s own roadster? Get the CX-5. It will bring you as many smiles per gallon as you need it to.
